The management is terrible, three managers say different information. They don't go to the meeting, they don't care if your room is paid or unpaid. I was with two children and I didn't have a security deposit until my American friend called them, they didn't care. The service is full of crap.

Totally recommended! Excellent location and good value for money.

Everything about the hotel was good, but our TV didn’t work in our room and the lights didn’t always turn on. Other than that it was good!

Went up to see a show.  This hotel is only a half a block off the ***** where the ball is dropped.  Easy to walk everywhere.  Hotel is not new but not
Super old, so there are some areas that seem worn, but it’s not run down looking.  Will absolutely stay agains.

Great location. Ball drop view room to see countdown on NY’s eve is a GREAT plus.

Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience from start to finish.

The room itself was extremely outdated, but the biggest issue was the ventilation and temperature control. You cannot control the temperature in your own room, which is completely unacceptable. Our room was unbearably hot. When we called the front desk, they said they would send someone up. The employee who came was very kind, but it was clear this is a frequent complaint and that staff are well aware of the problem.
We were told that once the hotel turns the heat on for the season, guests are stuck with heat only—you cannot switch between heat and air at any time. This critical information is not disclosed to guests, which is extremely misleading. Their solution? Turn the thermostat off and keep the windows open. That is appalling, especially for a hotel stay.

I requested a fan to be brought to the room. It never arrived. I had to call again before one was finally sent up.

Beyond the temperature issue, the room was poorly maintained. The furniture was outdated, the lighting was awful, and there were not nearly enough outlets—one set didn’t even work. There was a space clearly meant for a refrigerator, yet no fridge was provided.
The bathroom was gross. The shower pressure was excessively strong with no way to regulate it, and the tub would not drain. While showering, the tub filled up, turning it into an unwanted bath. The tub itself was visibly dirty.

Overall, this was an incredibly disappointing stay. Between the lack of temperature control, poor maintenance, and cleanliness issues, I will never stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Public Review – Millennium Broadway Hotel, New York City

I am documenting my recent stay at Millennium Broadway Hotel so future guests can make an informed decision. The issues below are factual and documented with photos.

Room Type & Context

I was automatically upgraded at check-in to a top-floor suite because it was empty.

This room category normally carries a significantly higher nightly rate than a standard room.

All of the issues listed below occurred in this upgraded suite, not a lower-tier room.

Room & Maintenance Issues

Coffee table top was broken and not securely attached to the base.

Curtains were damaged and would not fully close.

Tile and grout work appeared poorly done, and at least one floor tile was completely loose and shifted out of place.

Bathroom floor was dirty upon arrival.

Bathtub did not drain for approximately three hours after shower use, leaving standing water.

Lamp had an electrical issue and would not stay on consistently.

Cabinet door in front of the refrigerator was broken off; cabinet appeared deteriorated.

One main closet contained no hangers, preventing proper storage of clothing.

Ventilation vent was loose and not properly secured to the wall.

Visible splatter marks on the ceiling and on furniture surfaces.

Noise & Elevators

Two elevators were out of service during the stay.

Remaining elevators produced loud clunking and banging noises that echoed into the hallway and room, starting around 7:00 a.m., repeatedly waking us.

Elevator usage was chaotic due to limited service — guests were pressing both up and down buttons just to get an elevator, boarding cars going in the wrong direction, and significantly increasing wait times.

Elevator repair personnel were actively working on-site during the stay (photos available), which did not meaningfully resolve the issues.

Cleanliness (Common Areas)

Hallway light fixtures were visibly dirty and poorly maintained.

Front Desk & Package Handling

Front desk interactions were unprofessional; multiple staff members, including a manager, were rude and dismissive.

A package I had shipped to the hotel was kept in a locked room and was not accessible when needed.

Because the package could not be retrieved, we incurred approximately $90 in additional out-of-pocket costs replacing items that had already been shipped.

Follow-Up & Resolution

Management response acknowledged only a delay in replying, not the condition of the room or service failures.

Compensation offered was limited to a future comp night with blackout restrictions, which I declined, as I have no interest in returning.

Context

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels across the U.S., across many brands and price levels. This was among the poorest experiences I’ve had—particularly considering that these issues occurred in what is positioned as a higher-end suite.

Basically checked in at the check in time.Four o'clock went back out to times square.Had fun came back ten o'clock had emergency phone call! Two year old rushed to the hospital can't breathe! He immediately got my stuff, tucked went down.Explained to the people at the counter, I asked him to give me a receipt.Maybe I can get some action on my thing. They told me there's no paperwork involved, just call back in a sudden such time! First of all, they gave me a hard time. Anyway, I guess they say they're gonna reimburse one day I truly don't know.Spend a week and that wouldn't even be proficient.Because I was probably in that room about an hour, literally in the room an hour.I checked in at four went to times square.Did the new york thing came back? And within less than an hour, I got a call, had to go!! The people I spoke with on the phone. The next day was rude. Very rude, very rude.God bless them but very rude!! On top of all that, this room was disgusting, all I could do is show you some pictures and leave it alone for the type of money they ask for this place. This was appalling, and the fact that they couldn't understand a two year old couldn't breathe, and we had to drive all the way back to boston! We drove to new york to hang out at the millennium in two days in times square and and had to drive back to boston after only being there a second. So that's the type of people that's management in that hotel.Or at least works in that hotel now, let me send you some pictures of how dirty, nasty and moldy. And the curtains and the floor was disgusting was!!!!!! Literally there were a little bit of food or chips and things on the carpet and plain view as well. I don't know what it was a cheeto or chip or whatever it was. But it was nasty, and you look at those curtains. I've never seen mold and dirt. So heavy on a supposedly, a 4 or 5 star hotel never, and I'd have been all over the world. Looked through my my profile on here from Italy, Spain. To all parts of the Caribbean, to Aruba, to wherever, and this is New York and look how nasty dirty this is. I was cheated like garbage from the people. It's been a week and I still haven't received my money.Maybe it's coming, but that'sn't even a problem. The place was a disgusting mess. And the rudeness that I received from some of that staff was ridiculous. That's all i'm gonna say.God bless them they don't ever have to worry about my business. And my twenty three million views on my google travel ever ever, saying anything or coming anywhere near that place ever, again.God bless and good luck.I'm just keeping it real and keeping it honest

To start, this hotel is in a great location as it’s right next to everything in Times Square. The staff was friendly, and we didn’t have any issues with service.
However, I stayed here with a large group, and despite hating to leave a negative review, the condition of our rooms was disgusting. The bathrooms looked worn down and poorly maintained, with what appeared to be mold in certain areas. The bathtub drain was clogged, causing water to back up, and I had to place a towel down to avoid slipping. The carpets were extremely dirty and worn; it didn’t seem like they had been properly vacuumed before our stay, as there were small pieces of trash on the floor.
On top of that, our rooms were unbearably hot. There was no way to control the temperature other than getting a fan from the front desk and cracking the windows, which barely helped. While I understand this is an older building, for the prices being charged, basic cleanliness and comfort should be expected. Not to mention the very outdated decor, but I don’t care too much about that.
Unfortunately, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others. If you’re willing to sacrifice cleanliness and a comfortable room temperature for location alone, then The Millennium may be an option—but otherwise, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Good Indian foods, little too spice. The restaurant ambience is not that great but the food is good. The price is also okay compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. We went there during our trip to NY and liked eating at this restaurant. I would recommend going to thhis restaurant if you don't mind spice food.

Horrible, unprofessional, and liar people work here! The food I ordered looked like leftover and smelled meat since I don't eat any meat that was unacceptable to me. I want the food changed to fresh food or my money back but the guy lied about the money I gave him. They took some of my money and no replacement food. I hope they do not give that food to someone.
02.11.2017 Aditya
It's okay if you're craving Indian food and this is the closest place to go to. But if you really want Indian food and love Indian food or want to try Indian food for the first time. Don't visit this place, find some other place in mid town.

Super nice place. Very dim lighting with fireplaces. Not too crowded but all the seating is often taken. Delicious cocktails. Definitely stop in, get a drink here and then go walk around the city.

Music was too loud. Food was really mediocre. For a veg pasta that costs $24 it really didn't live up to expectations. Had to send the pasta back because it was wayyyyy to salty. Not just a little salty. But like sea water salty. Molto terribile. Nice decor but that's about it.
31.08.2017 Dennis
The music too loud, way too cold and the cocktails just badly mixed - last one depends on the barkeeper, the rest happens every evening. The environment is sweet. They could do much better.
21.02.2016 Jackie
Very fashionable spot for midtown cocktails and nibbles.
16.07.2015 Richard
Prices are what you expect from a midtown Manhattan swanky hotel bar. The reason to come here is the best smoked old fashion I've ever had in my life. They light a real hickory stick and let the smoke infuse on the spot. Must try!

This resturant is an upscale seafood reasturant with great seafood and exceptional service. But despite being a seafood restaurant, Blue Fin manages to surprise me with one dish, there steak. I love steak and have had steak in many places but I have to say this steak was the best I have ever had. It was juicy but not fatty a perfect balance between juicy and tender. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
27.11.2017 Jeff
Service was great- and they were accommodating towards a pre-theatre dinner. The drinks were EXCELLENT... however, was very underwhelmed with the sushi rolls. I was not a fan of the different flavors and sauces that they put into the rolls (mangos in one, mint in another- yuck). For the price point, there are much better places in the city for sushi!
15.11.2017 Braulio
Went there for the first time the decor was nice. Can't say much for the waitress that complained to the bartender about a customer buying a drink at the bar because she was taking too long to serve him. I think it's very rude and unprofessional for waiters to complain about customers especially in front of other customers and asked did he pay on top of that smh. I would have thought this would have been a high class spot but with the unfriendly staff well I should just say waitresses I could see why not. Thank God I only ordered takeout and didn't take my wife there. It would have been very unpleasant stay. I think McDonald's staff have better service and better attitudes than the staff at Blue Fin.

Although it was two years ago, it was a date I still remember to this day. The food was excellent. Our host and server was attentive, polite, and his recommendations were on point. Sorry some didn't have the experience I had. We saw a great show, had cocktails below before dinner; and were quickly seated, because we had dinner reservations. I'll never forget that wonderful evening!

A group of 7 of us had to meet here for breakfast before a client meeting. 5 of us had bags. They fed us, let us hang out for another hour and checked our bags for us while we took a meeting in the area. Such friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was delicious. Can’t ask for much more.
