Pros: beautiful hotel and location

We didn’t have the best experience at Conrad. Upon check-in the staff assigned us a room that was already occupied. Sooo, my wife ended up walking in on another couple relaxing in their room (very awkward).

We went back to the lobby and the manager apologized and assigned us a new room. He didn’t seem all that concerned about the situation. Once we made it up to our new room the window in our bedroom wouldn’t fully close. The wind noise was very loud and there was a strong draft coming in. 30 minutes later maintenance showed up and said the window was broken.

They assigned us a new room. The manager was young and didn’t really know how to handle the situation. We finally got a new room and had a nice night in town but there wasn’t any kind of compensation. Overall, the hotel had a nice atmosphere and rooms were aesthetically pleasing but it wasn’t our favorite experience. Might have just been an off night for the hotel. 🤷‍♂️

Note: I typically only leave reviews when there’s a place or experience I would highly recommend.

The following days were spent at Parklane. When choosing a hotel, I wanted one near Central Park, but I hesitated after seeing some negative reviews. Another hotel I wanted to book was unavailable, so I chose this one. After check-in and entering the room, I was truly pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, with an entryway, a small living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a walk-in closet. The decor was new and clean, and the furniture and accessories were simple yet attractive. The location was also excellent. I highly recommend it if you prefer newer, larger rooms.

Our three night visit to The Luxury Collection Hotel Manhattan Midtown was excellent. Among the highlights of our stay were...

1. Cynthia at the front desk who was delightful.
2. Spacious rooms and baths with amazing showers.
3. The food, decor, and service at Dabble was top notch.
4. Location is convenient to much of the best of NYC.
5. The head valet who was genuinely helpful and friendly.

Thanks again for the lovely stay,

Chris Mays

I booked this for a friend. The distance and location are both good, in the heart of the city. However, hotels in the US are generally "old," so you can't compare them to domestic standards. What's luxurious in China is just relatively comfortable abroad. But I heard this place is called a luxury apartment!

The hotel is very new and has a great location, within walking distance of Carnegie Hall. Thanks to Ctrip's customer service for promptly resolving the minor issues I encountered during my stay.

Very convenient midtown location, with walking distance to central park and time square. Easy subway ride from the hotel, with plenty of dining options. We rented Queen Suits on the 30th floor. They let us check in early at 9AM and late check out at 1pm. We very much appreciated it. The hotel also offer turn-down service in the evenings. The gym is very basic without a pool, but their price is very reasonable. Overall, I would highly recommend.

The hotel is in a good location, but that's the only good location. The room facilities are old, but most hotels in New York are similar. However, the software is really disappointing. No one opened the door to take the luggage after arrival. There was no greeting when checking in. The deposit was directly handed to the POS machine in front of me without telling me the amount or the purpose. Inside the room, I found blood stains on the towels when I used them. The customer service didn't answer the phone at all. The air conditioner didn't heat up, and no one answered the phone. Finally, the checkout was not pleasant. Let's just say that if you have this budget, don't choose this hotel.

noisy, most staff members are rude including Nikki at front desk. no one helped with luggages upon arrival and front desk didn't care. toilet is not always clean sometimes no towels. used bedsheets were left on top of our suitcase. if you want to ring for service, usually no one answers until you try for the 3rd time. concierge staff made comments on me in front of me thinking I didn't understand English (because we wanted to change room due to noise next door. we could not sleep for 3 nights out of 9 nights. one night, my whole family including my 13 years old daughter was forced to hear the word "fxxx" 100 times u til 2am. partying next door. we were not offered to change room until i asked. they didnt seem to care). there were quite a few issues and each time it took us a lot of time to repeat the issues to different people in order to get a solution (sometimes there was no solution or we had to wait for a long time). did not feel like the hotel or it's staff (especially those at front desk) knows what hospitality is or do they care?
I seldom write reviews. so it was an unpleasant stay.

Although we enjoyed our 3-day stay, I wouldn't consider this a 5-star hotel, instead it's a solid 4-star, in my opinion. The location is great - easy 10 out of 10. However, the amenities and service underwhelmed me. Housekeeping never replenished our wash cloths after taking the ones we used out of the shower. We had to ask for new wash cloths each day of our stay. Our AC wasn't cooling the room properly on the first night and maintenance was called to inspect. When he looked at the air filter he let out a gasp...it was filthy and looked like it hadn't been changed in years. A new air filter quickly corrected the issue. The restaurant had overpriced mediocre food and drinks. My favorite thing about the stay was the byredo products and the insane shower water pressure. We would stay here again if the price made sense, but at the price point we paid for our stay, the hotel fell a little short for us.

Can I just say holy f. The burgers here are worth the wait. Though my husband and I visited late at night so we didn’t wait at all. Simple menu, no bs froufrou. Delicious food, nice people making it, and a fun charming atmosphere. Definitely a must check out.

Although you can have a NY dinner experience it is the most overpriced place in the most over priced City. $22 for a hot dog? C'mon man! I'm willing to indulge some places just because. This isn't one of. If on the other hand you like being crammed into a tight, noisy space to get mediocre, expensive food, this is your place. The only thing it had going for it is location. Enjoy.

Service was amazing and the food was great, also one of the few restaurants open at 7:30 AM near Park Central Hotel. But when they say "The Finer Diner" they certainly do mean it. Expect to pay about $20.00 per person (~$55.00 for 2 people).

Busy place but well worth the 10 minute wait. I see a lot of customers ordered the chicken pot pie whick looked really good.I ordered the Old Fashion Brooklyn Burger and it was the best burger I ever tasted. My wife ordered the chicken noodle soup which was delicious.

Love the fries here! The spaghetti rocks, too. But, please ask for your burger to be well done if you prefer it that way. Even though the menu states it's cooked well done, mine wasn't. Another was cooked for me to take out...which I didn't bother eating, so what a waste.

Expensive and the food is just "okay", but the decor is incredibly well done. It truly places you in a fifties style diner with bustling waiters racing around this overcrowded spot. Each booth is lined with small plaques of famous patrons and it's fun seeing who sat where you are and trying to remember who's who. I head in once every six months or so for a diner breakfast (blueberry pancakes!) or pie, and brush up on my knowledge of old celebrities.

Went there for the first time. Horrible service. The employee was busy talking with someone, did not even care to help. Was empty when I went in. and no one behind me,was rushing me select my choices. And then immediately emptied into the plastic box. After asked him to chop the salad, he told I should asked when I started. Did it half halfheartedly. Food wise you can add lot of choices for free, they looked pale and old food. Would not go back and would not recommend. They trying to compete with Chop'It next door and I prefer Chop'It for the food and service. No wonder they are empty.
