What a way to start 2026.

This boutique hotel absolutely nails the balance between style, service, and genuine hospitality. The staff are young, energetic, and exceptionally well trained—and it shows. Every interaction carried that rare “I truly love my job” energy that can’t be faked and makes a stay memorable.

The rooms are spectacular—thoughtfully designed, beautifully finished, and a pleasure to come back to at the end of the day. I also appreciated the sense of security: the building locks overnight, yet there’s always an attentive staff member on duty, which adds both comfort and peace of mind.

This stay set a very high bar for the year ahead, and it’s going to be hard to beat. Truly impressive execution across the board. Very well done.

Beautifully appointed hotel and rooms. Friendly staff. Front desk staff will make you a cappuccino when you wake up too early in the morning. Ditch the “resort fee”!

This is the second time we have stayed at The Moore, and, honestly, it is the only hotel we are looking to stay for a while to come. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the accommodations and location are unmatched for our price range. It is also conveniently located for all of our needs.

This is the second time that we have stayed at The Moore, and we couldn’t be happier. The staff is extremely friendly, and the accommodations are fantastic. I love the neighborhood, and its proximity to many popular places. We also discovered a few good restaurants near by which made our stay even better.

I stayed at The Moore with my boyfriend for our week long trip & we’d definitely stay at this hotel again! The service was literally the best part, the front desk staff greeted us nicely every morning and night. We got a $40 credit per day being there for the cafe so free pastries and coffee which was so nice. The hotel rooms were sort of small but we managed. Definitely recommend this spot.

Nice modern hotel in a good location. The rooms are small but it is NYC. The rooftop area is seasonal which would have been good to know before booking. Over all it was a good hotel and experience.

Very disappointed in the hotel staff response to all night party next-door to our room on our last night. Had to call front desk several times in distress because of noise level and loud banging of doors and loud music at three in the morning. We got little sleep before our next day early morning travels

The location was everything! One of the cleanest hotel room I've ever been in and the staff was incredible. The lobby cafe is also the perfect touch! Cannot wait to be back.

Wonderful stay. Lobby was awesome, staff were friendly and professional. Room was perfect for a NYC stay- clean, cozy, comfy bedding in a great location. Yes the rooms are on the smaller sider but its NYC. There is a facility fee that you pay when you check in. They gave us a token to use at the lobby cafe that covered our breakfast coffee/snacks. Would stay again!

Absolutely one of the best pizzas I've ever had! The crust is so thin yet so fluffy and really good, fresh ingredients and perfect taste. And the waitress was really great, great service! If you want to try a NY pizza this is definitely the one!

Simply wow. The Popeye pizza is pretty simple, but it's very good. The crust is simply amazing, it's thin, but you still have a nice bite out of it. I also had the ribollita soup and was very happy, it's a big bowl of comforting goodness. Decor and staff were both very nice.

The food was just mediocre. The MEATBALL PIZZA was too loaded, the meatballs were lackluster and for some reason the onions and olives tasted old. The HEIRLOOM TOMATO salad was fine. I would eat that again.
The service was abysmal and music were grating

They also don’t have liquor. Only wine and beer

My goodness, what a disappointing experience. The food was reasonable but the service, decor and music were appalling.

Let's start with a waiter that's too busy wiping tables than to seat customers. Follow this by asking another waiter a question which they have to go and check - they never come back with an answer. Next up we ask another question to a different waiter and they have to go and check - but never come back with an answer.

The music is hits from the 50's and 60's - that's bad enough - but it's the cheap cover versions done by musicians no-ones ever heard of. Presumably their playlist at parties is one to avoid.

So, food OK ( nothing to write home about) but service, decor and music really not good. Did I mention we thought it was overpriced as well?

Very fresh and flavorful dishes. We had the Coal Roasted Beets, Popeye (spinach) pizza and Shitake pizza. Everything was perfection. We were making plans to come back before we finished the last few bites. We sat at a table for two but I imagine the family style tables are much fun when busy.
