I stayed at the Ulug’bek Grand Hotel during the World Triathlon Cup Samarkand 2024. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a variety of options, catering to different tastes.

Overall, I had a positive experience at the hotel. However, for those looking to stay near the historical sites of Samarkand, this location may not be ideal as it is situated far from the city center.

We stopped for a meal on our way to Tashkent. If we ate in Samarkand city, we'd have to go out again. There's a lot of traffic, so it takes a long time. Also, even if you take a bus that doesn't go into the city, there are hotel windows, which is nice. However, it takes a little while for the food to come out once you order it. I think if the restaurant staff, that is, the customers, were to consider the time it takes and make efforts to serve the food more quickly, it would lead to more customers.
