Garden Inn Resort Hotel in Sevan

It all started when, instead of a twin room, we were given a king-size bed. They couldn't change the beds, but they did provide an extra blanket upon request. For three days, the room wasn't cleaned once, with no indication that this was the norm. There was no bottled water in the room, but the refrigerator door was cluttered with paid drinks and snacks. Incidentally, the refrigerator was unplugged. The electric stove was giving us a slight electric shock.

It's cold in the room at the end of September, but there's a fan heater (it won't warm the floor anyway). The bathroom has heated floors and an electric heated towel rail. The sink is small, though, and there's not even a place to put toothpaste or shaving gel.

The grounds are poorly maintained—fallen leaves are everywhere. The pool is supposedly heated to 30 degrees (in reality, it's less). It's small, but leaves and birch seeds are constantly falling into it (which isn't very pleasant). Breakfast costs 3,000 drams separately (I don't know how good it is).
There are no cafes or shops nearby. You'll either have to walk a short distance along the highway to the nearest shop with a meager selection and inflated prices, or to the foot of the monastery, where there's a market with expensive souvenirs and a few cafes and eateries.
If you don't worry about this and take it for granted, it's generally comfortable.
