Silk Road Hotel in Yerevan

Wonderful hotel, we loved everything about it. Very neat, beautifully and tastefully decorated; it was pleasant to be both in the rooms and in the common areas. From the window, you could see Mount Ararat! Also sometimes you can see the employees weaving carpets :)
Good breakfasts, the food choice isn't very vast, but everything is tasty and of high quality. And you can have breakfast on a beautiful veranda in the fresh air.
The staff is very pleasant and responsive. They helped us print our boarding passes for the flight and allowed us to leave our suitcases until the evening.

Excellent place with great service! The fantastic ethno-based interior adds a unique charm. Inside, there's a small exhibition of antique rugs and carpets, adding to the cultural experience. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for a memorable exploration of Armenia. Will be back soon! Narek Van

Super cute hotel in the upper part of Yerevan with a wonderful garden and at least a partial view of Mount Ararat.
Inside, the hotel is reminiscent of a caravanserai and the lobby sells many handcrafted and artistic items reminiscent of the Silk Road.
The hotel staff are all very friendly, courteous, helpful and eager to provide information.
We had planned to start the evening of our arrival with a wine hour in the garden, but ended up spending the whole evening there with very tasty wine, delicious lavash chips and a very obliging waiter.
We would have loved to stay longer, but that wasn't possible.
The Silk Road Hotel is definitely on our list for our next trip to Armenia 😃

The first time the door of the hotel opened, I was amazed. The interior looks so beautiful and there are many things you can buy. The food was good, the rooms were cleaned every day and staff was always welcoming and helpful anytime needed. I only wish there was a possibility to do our laundry ourselves. For the rest, I loved everything about it and felt sad leaving. The garden, the restaurant... Everything is a must see.

Small hotel in a suburb of Yerevan 20 minutes walk from the city centre, also doubling as a weaving/craft centre. Comfortable rooms with air con, fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast included in overnight rate, and tapas style dishes available the rest of the day. Rooms at the rear of the building have stunning views of Mount Ararat. Shady areas to sit outside and enjoy a beer. Staff friendly and helpful

It's a great property. The rooms were spacious. I had my room on the first floor with a huge balcony with it. Had a beautiful view from the room. The bed was comfortable, my room was super clean. Lovely decor with their traditional style of carpets. They also have an in-house handloom workspace in the basement to support the local artisans. The food was traditional Armenian. Limited options but great. Breakfast menu too was ok. The staff were lovely, very helpful They arranged my airport transfer for me. Wifi was having good connection

+ Very quiet, almost rural, place not far for the city center. Cleaning is performed on everyday base (if demanded) with slippers and toiletries. Warmly welcoming and polite personnel. Speaks Russian fluently.
- А neighbor building blocked the view of mount Ararat. A "sewer smell" from the shower sometimes.

I was looking for a place to host a dinner for a large group of Armenian and international friends and someone suggested Silk Road. I'm so glad they did! Tatev and her team took great care of us and prepared us an incredible meal in the garden, which is an absolutely lovely Oasis in the hustle and bustle of Yerevan. I also took the opportunity to tour the hotel, which is a boutique gem filled with art and cultural artifacts.

The rooms are comfortable, but the true spirit of the hotel is in the hospitable and welcoming attitude of the staff. Aprek!

We had a family reunion in Yerevan this month.
9 of us stayed at Silk Road Hotel for 9 days .Could not be any better. The staff of this hotel were very professional, yet exceptionally kind and flexible. Thanks to Karine, Anna, Marrieta and George.
This new hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood . Decorated with the most beautiful antique rugs and art pieces. It felt like a fancy home with a lovely floral garden.
Easy access to the main road. Only 10-15 minutes walk to the Republic Square, Opera House & museums and activities in the center of Yerevan. Taxis were always available for a fee of 600 DRAMs ( a little over a dollar) to any destinations around the city.
Room Prices were reasonable , breakfast included. Every morning Susan with a beautiful smile served breakfast. Plenty of hot & cold delicious food items. Very inviting......
In Armenia there is plenty of history and arts to discover and enjoy .
We hope to go back for another occasion and stay at the Silk Road Hotel.
