Had room 1 right at the front of the propert that had a great little verandah. Room was generously sized and comfortable for a beachside break

Bloody fantastic, a dive it is not, smack bang on the beach in Coogee, couldnt ask for anything better

Really well positioned in central Coogee, easy access to beach, restaurants and shops. Large room very comfortable bed and clean, bathroom needs a refurbish but clean and lots of hot water overall very convenient and relaxing stay.

I was disappointed in the standard of the room for the price. For an older lady the stairs weren’t so easy to manage. The step in the bathroom was dangerous with the step down for an older person. There was nothing in the fridge, not even milk. I wouldn’t stay there again. Sorry about the negative feedback.

Perfect for a short (or long) stay in The Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. The location could not be better with brilliant coastal walks to Bondi and Maroubra.
The staff were friendly and the room was brilliant.
I will stay again when next in Sydney.

Very average. We seemed to be the only ones staying there. Good location, and as it was over the weekend, no reception..just an empty building. The room was very draughty with windows not closing properly. Hot water took ages to come through. Met needs for a bed for two nights, but wouldn’t return.

The property was advertised as 4 star yet it was far from it. Room was dirty, linen was old and stained. Bathroom was mouldy. There were barely any kitchen utensils and the ones that were provided were cracked or scratched. Cutlery tray was mouldy. I was extremely dissatisfied with the property.

Poor quality food, everything done cheaply. Cheap old freezer hash browns you’d find in a roadside cafe, fried to within an inch of their life, cheap sugary packet granola. Bad coffee. Get some new owners as this is wasted, nice decor and great location, it could be awesome in the right hands.

First experience was terrible. I've waited 30 minutes (with the place quite empty) for a chicken wrap they said it was similar to the chicken burger with avocado, cheese and aioli and I ended it up getting a wrap with salad, cucumber, tomato, no cheese at all and part of the chicken breast was raw. Nice place and menu but I wouldn't go back after this.

Disappointing. Looks the part for Coogee, the decor was great. The coffee wasn't bad, tho it turned up when we half way through our brekkie, no table water even though all the tables around us had some. I ordered poached eggs on sour dough, nice and simple, but they were very stingy with the toast, 1 small slice cut in half. Barely enough for the egg to sit on and the poached eggs were hard. Nothing worse than hard poached eggs in my book! Maybe we just got them on an off day.

Went for brunch today and were served by a lovely English guy. Great service, good brunch menu, generous portions and reasonably priced.
