I'd like to commend Ann, the lovely Thai staff member. She was incredibly helpful. The hotel is very close to the tram, making it super convenient for getting around. There's also parking available for 30 AUD per night. The room was very spacious. I visited in April and was lucky the weather was cool, as the air conditioning didn't seem to be very effective. I had to open the balcony door and close the curtains to feel comfortable. The fridge was a good size. If I visit during cooler weather, I'd definitely consider staying here again.

Room was quiet and the bed comfy although when we arrived and checked in we went to our room and all the dirty linen was still on the floor in the room. Other than that we had a great stay. The food in the restaurant was very nice we had a great dinner.

Great hotel, very clean. I didn't get the room I booked the last night I stayed. No complaints...

Only a couple of things:
$200.00 deposit. Be aware, most hotels have a $100.00 deposit.

No teaspoons or stirrers for tea and coffee supplied, only to be told I should have pre-requested them. What the...?

The hotel is upmarket without the snobbish feel, Thu - Fri has happy hour if that's your thing. The breakfast is beautiful.

There are a couple of other things, but generally minor (I hope).

Will I stayed there again? Absobloodylutely. Rating? 4.1/5. I'm torn about my rating as which hotel has no coffee stirrers or teaspoons to stir coffee or tea provided in rooms?

The best bits: the staff were so friendly and helpful. The lobby area is very welcoming. The buffet breakfast was great value.
The less good parts: rooms were tired. They’re kept clean, but even the sheets and curtains are showing signs of age and wear. The room (112) was spacious, but had very limited storage and hanging, so I had to drape a lot of my clothes over furniture. Power sockets are all very inconveniently placed - and nothing by the beds. Bathroom has limited storage. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get the shower to a comfortable temperature - either so hot it took off your skin, or cold. The bed was so soft it felt like the mattress was broken. Single glazing lets in draughts and the considerable road noise. The room had a lot of windows and curtains, and it was hard to block out the external light overnight.

It’s a shame, because the team are so nice, but the relative discomfort of the room would put me off staying again when in Melbourne.

Had a very early morning appointment so stayed at the Amora Hotel Riverwalk in Richmond for 1 night. Booked online - absolutely straightforward exercise. Checked in on arrival - nice vibe in the foyer area - staff member greeted and welcomed me at the desk. Trouble free check in and headed to room on second floor. Given the price of the accommodation was not expecting that much but the standard room I booked was really spacious complete with ensuite bathroom and a private balcony and table/chairs. All spotless, well lit, warm and even built in desk and couch. To be honest I was delighted. Comfy bed, good shower pressure. Had a drink at the bar - enjoyable space. Was gone by 6.15am so didn’t have breakfast. Was looking for a Thai feed so didn’t eat at the hotel - lots of restaurants and eateries about 10 minute walk towards the city. Would definitely stay here again.
