We have stayed here a number of times and found our latest stay this weekend the absolute best yet! This stay from booking, arriving and checking out was 10/10. Arni at the front reception was so helpful to any of our queries and we had! We can't wait to come back we had the best time and the room was extremely comfortable.

A wonderful caring place to stay while visiting family in hospital. The accommodation is good. Beds very comfy. Staff very understanding and keen to help in anyway they could. COVID has def effected the ability to clean things as it once was. The balconies definitely need some attention. Not having regular housekeeping for long term occupants and can be hard to arrange at times.

The room is large and comfortable and has everything you need. The first night I had problems with the noise of the fridge and an external machine to the room, the next day I commented and they quickly changed my room, fine. The biggest problem was that nobody cleaned the room during the 7 days I was supposed to pay an extra for it. I was offered 2 clean towels as a favor, really? Not even anyone emptied the trash ... For these reasons I decided to find another Hotel for my next days.

Really nice rooms and all staff were very friendly.

Although I find it odd that the only restaurant attached to the hotel is exclusively Italian. Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious and great portions for your money!

I was here for a work conference, but would highly recommend.

Good location and sale price. Nice room just little annoying things like the dysfunctional curtain getting in the way of the fridge door and my breakfast plates being left in the hall for 12hrs. Would stay again but hope little things improve.

Nice clean hotel, good location and nice rooms. Cheapest room looks at the next door business buildings flat cement wall (no views). Rooms are relatively quiet but I could people opening and closing doors in the hallways. Bathroom is decently appointed and modern. Very close to the city with public transport (trams) straight into the city, only about a 5 minute ride. Street parking is a pain, they're mostly ticketed 1 or 2 hour parking but your leaving early or go and buy a ticket at 8am when it starts charging you'll be okay. Parking spaces are available but limited, first in first serve with no ability to reserve spots.

Enjoyed our stay here very much. We were upgraded to a significantly better room for a bargain price, and our room was great. Nice views from the balcony, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and sofa. 2 slight downsides were that the bathroom was a little dark and the exhaust fan not very powerful, and there was no baking tray for the oven, but other than that the building and room were well looked after and in a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Considering its 6pm Australia time, there isn't much restuarant open a this hour. Here we are, a hidden gem that serve good sushi and bento sets. You are really can't ask for more!

Had some physio at the Alfred not so long ago and instead of the run-of-the-mill style canteen there I decided to drop in and try Cafe La Colline on Commercial Road, just before St Kilda Road. Had a coffee there during my weekly visits over several months to the Alfred and one thing I particularly liked about Cafe La Colline, they always make a good coffee.

I went yesterday around midday hours. The lady who took my order does not know about customer service (It must be the same for all your customers, it doesn't matter if they are wearing a nice suit or not). She was not nice at all, took the wrong order and they didn't apologize for that. Terrible experience!

I found this place just wandering around, sunny outside area, fresh juice and home made banana bread. Wifi access great place to work on a sunny day just in front of fawkner park!

La Colline has had something of a renaissance (pun intended) over the last few years... it had lost its initial charm and quality baked food (that is original French owners brought to the place) and unfortunately the coffee too. But in the last year's this has been turned around (I'm guessing under new ownership). Staff are friendly, food - albeit standard cafe faire - has improved to a reliable level and range and the coffee is good too. It's my daily morning coffee haunt.

The food was delicious. Very impressed with service on arrival but unfortunately this soon changed . Service Staff were friendly and helpful but with a conference in this weekend perhaps management should have been aware that more staff may have alleviated any problems .
