We came to the resort with two children (3 and 4 years old) and spent an amazing and unforgettable 15 days here. The hotel is new, modernly furnished, clean and shiny. The food was delicious, lunches and dinners were sometimes repetitive, but you could always find something tasty. We really enjoyed the afternoon snacks. Great pizza! The children liked the slides by the pool, which were adequate for their age and looked new and safe. The staff was always cheerful, smiling, very helpful and nice. We were thrilled by the evening ritual with musical and light accompaniment of the fountains, it's a shame that the songs didn't change sometimes, but at least they remind us of our stay. There's nothing much around the hotel, but we didn't mind it with our small children - we always found entertainment in the hotel. The evenings in the hotel were quiet, no discos until late at night. The beach was clean, with dark sand and a gentle entrance to the sea. Overall, we rate the stay very positively, it is definitely one of the best hotels in Bulgaria.

Warm welcome from all the staff. Hotel is in middle of nowhere . But that not the hotels fault. The rooms were cleaned everyday and mini bars filled . Taxis are expensive. There is a free shuttle to Pomorie which can be booked at desk. The rooms are excellent. Great views of the beach. A great selection of meals which caters for everyone. Only suggestions i would say is we would have loved a night for bulgarian food. Entertainment on nightly.The saunas and indoor pools are great. Recommend the mud pools just along from hotel. A great experience and fun. Definitely a 5 * hotel. Trips to nessebar and diva winery recommend

The Hotel and staff are absolutely fantastic, we’re currently staying in one of the family rooms. It’s 2 bedroom and the ‘adult’ bedroom has its own balcony, wardrobes and bathroom away from the ‘kids’. The rooms are very modern and the beds are out of this world. The mini bar is replenished we told the cleaning team that we didn’t want the beer and they just put more Coke and Cappi in. The kids loved it. Unfortunately because of the time of year the outside slides are closed and all the external snack bars are not open. So the negatives (not really much the hotel could do) the internal pools could be turned up ever so slightly as the smaller pool was lovely but was absolutely rammed. I feel that some background music is needed throughout the hotel as because the outside was cold and wet we spent a lot of our time near the bistro snack bar and lounge areas. Animations leader was excellent at getting everyone involved even those with names as ‘no,no,no’ joined in and ‘maybe tomorrow’. Overall the experience of the hotel was 5* it’s just a shame that the weather let us down.

This was outstanding! What a hotel! I cannot say anything bad, if I had to it would only be the swim up pool and most of the pools were very cold. The manager and staff really are running this hotel to top spec! The food was fabulous and to excellent quality. The chefs temperature tested the food and it was cooked fresh. The staff cleaned 24/7 which showed as the place was immaculate! The bar staff were polite, professional and the selection of drinks was great. Make sure you put the switch on, if you want a lie in and don’t want a cleaner walking in on you.. plus the toilet door is glass and has a gap, it’s not that private. Towels available and the spa area is great. We booked for the Olive restaurant which was lovely, but we were rushed in and out. Little disappointing but the gust relation manager listen to our concerns and no wonder she’s a manager as she gave us a Prosecco and spoke beautiful English. We are going to book for next year, but earlier as it can be chilly on a night. We will be going for a 50th birthday and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else to celebrate. Highly recommend. I still have holiday blues! Thanks Wave!

I can’t hide the fact that every time I’m here, I truly relax and feel at home. From breakfast to lunch and dinner, there is always an incredible variety of culinary delights. The food was always served hot—if not steaming. The snacks at the amphitheater are simply perfect – I couldn’t resist the chicken burgers and the döner kebabs. I also love the freshly prepared Asian dishes, which add a special touch to the experience. The service, as always, is outstanding. The housekeeping staff are exceptionally attentive and polite, and the room cleaning is of a very high standard – I have nothing to complain about. Special thanks to the Concierge team and the management – your care really makes a difference. Of course, there is always room for improvement, but none of this can spoil a holiday here. I’ve visited several other resorts, but I can confidently say that Wave Resort is my favorite.

This hotel is fantastic, from moment we arrived everything was brilliant from service to drinks to food. Our room was amazing too... spacious, modern and beds are so comfortable. We also tried the Mediterranean restaurant which was lovely too and my glass was never empty. The pool areas are kept really nice and my little boy loved the foam party and kids disco. We also had treatment in the spa which was amazing also. We tried the free bus to pomorie was a nice little town and recommend for a few hours out. I also tried the mud bath and salt lake next to the hotel which was a good experience also. We will definitely be returning. Thank you wave resort

Wave Resort in Pomorie is an absolute gem. The whole place makes a huge impression – a massive complex with stunning architecture, beautiful fountains, and amazing greenery (I’m obsessed with the pampas grass here ). The pools and relaxation areas are on another level – there’s an adults-only zone with a jacuzzi, a heated pool with animations, a spa with saunas, and so much space that you can easily find either a quiet corner or a lively atmosphere, depending on what you’re in the mood for. The room? Honestly, the most beautiful one I’ve ever stayed in. Huge, with a central sea view, a giant panoramic window, and a freestanding bathtub right inside the room – waking up here every day was pure joy. Definitely my biggest “wow” of the whole stay. The food is insane – such a massive variety, from breakfast to the poolside snack bar. I loved the American-style serving of the snacks – hot dogs, corn, all neatly packed in little paper boats. And drinks? Beer and wine in the fridges, multiple bars around the resort. Pro tip: don’t miss the coffee-based cocktails – they’re the perfect afternoon pick-me-up and absolutely delicious. The staff is great – nothing over the top, but friendly, helpful, and professional. You can really feel that the management cares about their guests. Downsides? Honestly, hard to point out. The only thing I’d tweak is the printed materials – it would be nice to get a pretty, proper resort map instead of just a regular printer page, but that’s more of a detail than a real issue. Location-wise, the resort is kind of “in the middle of nowhere,” with only a salt lake nearby, but there are free shuttle buses to Pomorie, so that’s easy. And the hotel’s own beach is really nice too. Would I come back? Absolutely yes! I’ve already recommended it to friends and I’d happily return myself – maybe in high season next time to soak up even more sunshine .

Please do not believe the review E.H. posted as it's COMPLETELY untrue. Firstly the staff and the service they provide is exceptional,so friendly professional and very helpful, even remembering my drink each night and having a laugh with you. We've stayed in over thirty hotels abroad and not one of them has the standard of food that the wave serves,we got home last night and for the last nine days we've had not only something different to eat but the quality is outstanding,NEVER bland and the staff in the restaurant never stop, from the chefs to the waitresses always cleaning the tables very quickly. The comments on the ice pools are ridiculous,yes the largest pool is fresh but I don't want to swim in bath water when it's 30° in the sunshine, also there are a few more pools which are heated so no complaints from me. Please do not believe the comments on limiting the food at the snack bars again hilarious, BEST SNACK BARS you will EVER find. Special mention to Nikolay for the amazing and very affective massage,top bloke. The room was also the best we've stayed in,so much space and a walk-in wardrobe for the missus. We had some great nights at the beach bar in the evening chilling with a drink and listening to some great music, probably one of the only hotels that we would stay in again.

This hotel is outstanding. The staff work so hard here. We had a corner suite, it was huge & immaculate. The bed was really comfy & the room had everything we needed. We booked the Wave Deluxe package, so we mainly ate at the à la carte restaurants, the food was outstanding. We did eat at the buffet twice at lunch, lots of choice & the food was really nice. Special thanks to the Concierge team, who made us feel so special & for the bubbly & decorations in our room on our Anniversary. Lots of empty sun loungers around. The drinks are wonderful, so much choice & plenty of bars. Adults only area was fantastic. We also ended up with a cabana on the beach through our package. The pools are so clean & the fountains are so pretty. We had a couples Hamman massage at the spa, it was wonderful & very reasonable price. I could go on & on about all the wonderful things here, it really is a superb hotel. Entertainment in the beach bar was enjoyable, Nick Michaels was our favourite, absolutely brilliant! But all were great fun. If you are looking for an immaculate hotel with great food, then this is the place to go. They also have a food court during the day, I wasn't over keen if I'm honest, but that was personal choice. The lobby food and drinks late at night was fantastic, if you wanted a late drink before bed or snacks, the food was lovely. A beautiful hotel, we wouldn't hesitate to go back. It is in the middle of nowhere, but I believe there are shuttle buses or some people used taxis. We wanted to just relax, so we weren't bothered about leaving the hotel.
