Hrizantema- All Inclusive Hotel in Sunny Beach

Would not return...however Animation team are fantastic, they go above & beyond to include everyone of all ages. They are friendly, fun & accommodating...the highlight of the hotel, especially DiDi & Ramone! Reception staff are rude, Huge language barrier which doesn't exactly help you to feel comfortable and safe. Pool bar staff, except for Mil & Redgie, are all unprofessional and favour certain nationalities, making English feel not welcome. Cleaning staff are beyond RUDE. Not one nice thing to say about cleaning staff at all. They helped themselves into our room with the signs being on the door turned to DO NOT DISTURB. Refusing to give towels, shouting at us in Bulgarian knowing we couldn't understand what they were saying, they would then talk to each other whilst we were still standing there refusing to leave until we were given towels. They would persistently knock our door in the morning, with the sign saying DO NOT DISTURB and then proceed to laugh at us. Unprofessional & made us feel uncomfortable about leaving the room. Food...not much variety, all dishes were greasy and luke warm. Very repetitive, didnt cater for all nationalities. The food hall is too small for the amount of guests so it becomes overcrowded which means there is a lot of pushing, shoving & waiting for tables. The food always ran out so everybody started to click on so would be rushing to get in as it first opened which meant there was a lot of plates being wasted as people were taking too much. If you are a fussy eater or have dietary requirements this hotel is definitely not for you, the language barrier doesn't help with this either. Sunbed wars happened daily, there is a rule about no towels being allowed to be on the beds until 10am but after our 3rd day we realised everyone was doing it and it became difficult to get a decent spot where we could see our children. We then did do the reserving beds, however we wouldn't if the rule was enforced as we would of queued up like we do when we have been to other places. The pool itself is pretty dangerous in parts due to loose floor tiles, all of us got cuts on feet, knees & hands so this really needs looking at, also a chair that is in the pool along the bar, one is missing a seat, leaving the metal pole in the water freestanding, but not very noticeable until close up & its very sharp, this could be a accident waiting to happen. Guests aren't following rules as they aren't enforced enough, so the pool area becomes a seagul trap due to them leaving food around or feeding the seaguls. I understand this is the guests, but if staff kept on top of things this could be reduced massively. Snack bar was poor hygeine, wasps & flies all over the food as its not covered properly. Pool snack bar- literally had on a rolling day of sausage, chicken, kebab, meatballs & fries & the pizza snack bar was the same pizzas everyday alongside fries, hotdogs & baguettes..the hotdogs are noway cooked properly though. Basic room and amenities(only shower gel and slippers). Poor variety of food and repetitive, but good report price-quality. Pool area was ok.
