Reviews
I will start with the positives, the Food and Drink manager is an absolute gem and very attentive and caring, she is a credit to the hotel and quite honestly she should not work in this hotel she can do much better and i'm sure she does not make enough money considering the amount of work and passion she puts into it.
The live cooking chef is a lovely man, even though he has limited English he makes an effort and is very approachable. His Crepes are to die for and delious especially with the Nucrema toppings!
The cleaners seem efficient and the receiption staff have decent english and can answer requests but don't seem as knowledgable about the hotel as they should. considering the size of the hotel I would have thought they would be more knowledgable.
The kids main animator is a credit to the hotel and is very good with children.
The breakfast is great no complaints here, the lunch is lackluster is an odd collection of frozen foods and salads, there is spring rolls but no other asian items present. The pizzas are ok but you can tell they are frozen bases where they add the own toppings.
The Dinner is ok but the choices are limited and don't vary enough so quickly become boring, there is also still a fair bit of frozen food that you would give a kid here.
Unforturately we found some of the waiters very rude, and they certainly don't welcome kids who may be messier than adult guests. Thankfully the Food and Drink manager helped with our concerns and helped us to contiune to feel welcome. Especially after one of the waiters made my wife cry.
In terms of drinks there are limited choices especially for those who don't drink, they have tap drinks in the pool bar, restaurant and lobby bar, the same choices in each, sparkling water, cola (which is very sweet), Orange (also very sweet), a lime drink (the best of the bunch), apple juice (well it's like watered down processed apple juice) and orange juice (it's like some sweet squash), tonic water and water. There are also hot drinks; teas and coffees - there is a decent choice of herbal teas and there are coffee machines. The lobby bar coffees are horrible I think it's using instant coffee and milk powered milk. The restaurant coffee beans are better with bean to cup but still have overly sweet powered milk.
The rooms were regualrly topped up with toilet paper, we ran out on one occasion but it was easy to request more from receiption. It would be good to have a do not disturb door hanger, i've never been to a hotel without this.
The kids club I certainly wouldn't recommend even though I was initially impressed, one of the ladies who is the main animator is excellent with the kids, and they have lots of activites, however what I didn't reliase is the kids club staff changed and the second lady was VERY unprofessional she just let our kids leave and they were wondering around the hotel crying looking for us. The lady seemed more occupied hooking with some man. She should not be in a position of looking after kids. Especially when there are very deep pools in the hotel it could have been dangerous, luckily we were not far away and found them quickly.
There is a life guard but he seems more interested on his phone most of the time.
The hotel has a pool table which is out of order, mini golf out of order, foosball out of order, the only thing in order is table tennis which was fun to play. For a 4 star hotel I would except better, the main mens toilet has one toilet and 2 urinals - the toilet was out of order our entire stay as was one of the urinals.
All in all it was been a mixed bag, we loved our vacation in Bulgaria but unforturtely we can't recommend the hotel in its current state.
Food without wide choice, but tasty and fresh, wide choice of drinks, in the lobby all the time all kinds of non-alcoholic drinks.
If you came here to have a simple , quite rest, and have not great ambitions, this place is for you.
We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which enhanced the comfort of our stay significantly. The rooms were spacious and beautifully maintained, offering the perfect setting for our family getaway.
One of the highlights was definitely the hotel restaurant. Krassy, the Restaurant Manager, took exceptional care of us from the beginning, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, tasty, and aesthetically served, making each meal a true delight. The attentive waitresses, always smiling and eager to assist, added an extra touch of warmth to the dining experience.
The live cooking station was a unique feature that we thoroughly enjoyed. Kamran, who prepared our morning pancakes, was not only a skilled chef but also a wonderfully positive person, brightening our mornings with his delightful energy.
Overall, our stay was fantastic and memorable thanks to the wonderful hospitality of the entire team. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, exceptional service, and delicious cuisine.
Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!
