Loud complaints, senseless arguments, and a general lack of basic manners – all directed at the very staff who go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome

Frankly, I’m more shocked by the vulgar attitude of these guests than by any of their so-called grievances. And then to see them leave negative reviews? What a performance

Amazing hotel in the heart of Sofia. It is next to the Sofia university, City garden, Royal Palace and National Theatre. Good customer service and cozy rooms. It is a little pricy but I would definately recommend it.

You can walk everywhere to get around(important and interesting places). Very comfortable bed(mattress, pillows). The first night it was hot under the duvet. The rooms are comfortable and cozy

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency while attending an Art of Living International Even in Sofia. Participants came to Hyatt from all over the world which can be challenging for any hotel of this size

Very nice 2 week business stay. Rooms large and clean, personell friendly - hospitality as it should be! I especially enjoyed the very good breakfast, but also had a few lunches and dinners

Radi was so helpful, friendly and provided great suggestions of where to eat and what’s unique to shop. Hotel is in a great location walking distance to city center, 5 min walk to the famous cathedral

Rooms a very spacious with tons of storage and very nice shower. We had club access, which offers delicious breakfast and happy hour appetizers in a quiet pretty setting

Great location, walking distance to main site seeings such church as Russia, Alexander church, cafes and restaurants. The hotel has a good spa facility (steam room, sauna, salt sauna, and pool) and gym

The lounge is spacious and comfortable with a solid happy hour. There is an excellent spa with both sauna and steam rooms as well as a pool area that has high pressure jets

Overall a nice hotel. The staff was friendly. The room was nice. I wish the bathroom had been a little larger. Other than that, no complaints.

Good welcoming the breakfast was more than excellent for more or less price of 6€. The restaurant on the 6th floor was super tasty and the chef prepared and cooked everything on the spot

Breakfast in this peaceful atrium every morning will be the highlight of your day. Possibly the best coffee I've ever experienced. Parking available, but also a very walkable location

Nice environment, good service

After diner he gave me a call to check in again. This morning I was very annoyed and would have ranked one star, but they really are trying to make up for their faults and improve, so I decided to give 4 stars

During the diner, the hotel manager visited me to apologise. I appreciated that and it showed that they really try to give a good experience, but it was apparently just 'force majeure' for them

There were some issues at the start due to the arrival of two big groups and the perfect storm that came into existence as a result. The hotel offered me a free diner as a compensation

It would have been nice to have more comfortable seating out there like some outdoor couches. They supply ear plugs just in case the 9th floor gets too loud. Only one night did I hear it faintly on one side of the room

In all ways I was very happy here. Location good for local parks, sights, accessible to other areas. View terrific in room on 5th floor facing St Alex cathedral. Floor ceiling windows real nice

The hotel is in the heart of Sofia, within walking distance of all major landmarks and just steps from the metro station. The spa is excellent — featuring a pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and even a cold tub

The breakfast is good enough but nothing exceptional. Swimming pool is OK, sauna is good. Location is perfect if you want to be in the city center. Good restaurants, and stores within 15 minutes walking distance

Good hotel part of the Marriott offering globally (I think the only one in Sofia); location is great - as you can see from the photos attached; near by are many key sites to visit and explore; only potential issue - if you are on the top floor room you may hear music/noise from the hotel bar on the roof

The location is great, the hardware is very good, and there is English service at the front desk, but the software, service and soundproofing are not good. The front desk was still under renovation when we went there.

The spa is excellent—worth the visit even though it's an additional cost for standard room guests. Unfortunately, my partner experienced a distressing moment when the lift broke down in complete darkness for 20 minutes

After we casually mentioned the incident to a staff member in the lift, the hotel immediately apologized and went above and beyond by leaving a heartfelt note and a complimentary bottle of wine and fruit bowl in our room

We loved staying here for our first trip to Sofia. The staff are so welcoming right from arrival all the way through to check out. They really can’t do enough for you

The hotel itself is beautiful in a classic and dignified way. The location is perfect, right in the centre with everything in the city centre within walking distance

We stayed couple of nights in this hotel. The breakfast included was great, plenty of options for eating. The room is not nor small nor big but has everything needed for a comfortable staying

The receptionist was a bit rude, got annoyed that we bothered her, and made us wait for almost half an hour, but good customer service was not something I was expecting specifically, so it won't affect the final rating so much

From an emotional point of view, this hotel is forgettable, lacking any charisma, and loosing points for cheapening out at certain building/decorative features (things that shouldn't happen in place with 4 stars)

Most hotels don't invest in a proper network, but while I don't expect to find the ideal solution of an access point in every room, Vitosha Park really needs more access points in their cheap hallway setup

The room I stayed in was one of the renovated ones, so the furniture was pretty nice (and I really liked the walk-in shower!). The mattress was comfy, and I hope the white sheets were clean for real

Not bad service, but the language barrier was obvious. No one informed us about a card in the closet which we have to use for cleaning the room the opposite way a "do not disturb" sign works

My wife and I stayed there one night with our 1 year old baby. It was very clean, staff is very polite and professional. Restaurant was about to close, but they still served me food. I would definitely stay there again

If possible i would give 20 Stars. We celebrated our wedding there, and from the beginning we received a bespoke Service that overexeeded our expectations. This impression lasted during the whole event and our journey

Perfect location for private or business event. The stuff was extremely polite and helpful, they helped me to organize my small private event in the SPA zone and everything was exactly like in my mind

Nice interior, great location for airport access but a bit far from the center (15 ish minutes by subway). Perfect for weddings with very pretty outdoor garden. Very friendly and professional staff.

It was close to the airport and three stops away on the Yellow Line metro for the Top Renta Car depot where I hired a car. Location was convenient for my needs

I was let down with the airport pick up, but hotel reception told me to take a taxi from Terminal 2 at the airport and they would pay. This happened but apparently via a voucher system

The SPA: The SPA was also excellent, not many facilities though (A sauna, a steam bath, and change rooms). No couple massage room which we also found on the down sides, just two separate massage rooms

This hotel is quite spectacular and ideally located next to the metro. There is a pool, but you have to pay around £8 to use it

We reached the hotel about 10am n they graciously gave us an early check-in on a complimentary basis. Their gesture made e stay really nice.

The rooms are a bit dark, it is impossible to turn on a brighter light. The air in the room is very dry. Opening the window, despite the noise, did not help: at night, the throat and nose dried out so much that it hurt

The room is clean, everything is available. The bed is comfortable, the pillows are comfortable. The breakfast is very tasty, the croissants are something special. There is a variety for every taste

I just didn't like the coffee. The sauna is an infrared sauna, a hammam and a jacuzzi, a large pool, a small one with ice water. The temperature in the sauna is excellent. Comfortable loungers for relaxation

Super nice... the beds are king size and there is a hint of chic and "expensive" everywhere, but the food in the restaurant is really expensive. There is a market nearby and everything is great.

From start to finish our stay was amazing, first of all we were escorted to a gated carpark so we could keep our car safe during our stay, we were then checked in and told our room, the lobby sets the scene as it was very welcoming

Breakfast was the best one, for the standards. They have a terrace where some people can smoke, others can pick cherries when it is the time, and we were lucky and there were lots of cherries
