The Jianguo Qianmen Hotel is within walking distance of Qianmen Street and Dashilar. It's about a 5-minute walk from the Huguoqiaofang subway station, which is super convenient for getting around anywhere. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the service is great. It's an older hotel, but the facilities aren't outdated, making for a comfortable stay.

The hotel is quite large and conveniently located, which was great for us traveling with elderly family and children. The service was excellent, and the front desk staff, especially Xiao Peng, was very enthusiastic.

I always stay here whenever I'm in Beijing for business. The rooms are lovely, with a classic, elegant Chinese style. The breakfast offers great value for money. Today, I wasn't feeling well because of a toothache and was moving a bit slowly. The staff were very thoughtful and caring, especially Xiao Song at the front desk, whose service was excellent. A big thank you to them!

Do not book this hotel! Dirty and poor maintenance
Cockroaches all around. Bath tub clogged. Room door screw loose. Room is dusty. Room service team is bad.

No vacuum of floor.

The location is fantastic, very convenient for both conferences and sightseeing. It's close to all the tourist attractions, clean, and the service is excellent. The Chinese restaurant also offers delicious and affordable dishes – great value for money!

Our room faced a bunch of outdoor air conditioning units. It got really noisy in the mornings and woke us up. The hairdryer in the bathroom was really old and not powerful enough to dry anything, and the extra hairdryer they provided couldn't be used in the bathroom because there was no outlet, so we had to use it outside. The shower head was fixed. Everything just felt so old. The service was okay, though.

Great location! It's very close to attractions, and there are many places nearby to enjoy Peking duck and authentic Old Beijing breakfast. This is an old, reputable hotel with professional and warm service. As soon as I checked in, Xiao Yun upgraded my room. Wang Wenjuan and the concierge staff were very helpful with luggage storage and retrieval during my stay. From the window, you can see the tip of the Monument to the People's Heroes, and the roofs of Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and the Great Hall of the People.

The hotel's location is quite close to Hufangqiao subway station. There's a Peking Opera museum, and someone was even playing an instrument during my stay. It feels like the hotel is managed to a certain star rating, but the service was just average, not very welcoming at all. When checking in, they didn't even ask if I needed toiletries, even though they don't provide them proactively anymore, they could still ask, right? They also left the bath mat directly in the bathtub, which felt really unhygienic. Even if the space is small, hygiene should still be a priority. They could roll it up and place it next to the tub or something.

Great location, very close to Tiananmen Square. The service was excellent. My husband left his phone in a taxi, and the hotel staff were very helpful in assisting us. We're very grateful! The rooms were also spacious and comfortable.

My top choice every time I'm on a business trip. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Xicheng's residential area. You can walk to Qianmen, and there's also the Heyaochang sugar oil pancake stand and Taoranting Park nearby, making it perfect for families to stay a few days. They've also opened a new mall here, adding more shopping options to Xicheng.
