The room was spacious and gave off a wonderful vacation vibe. The public areas were large and beautiful, with expansive green lawns leading to the sea not far off. It's a shame the weather wasn't great, but the sea in the rain had its own kind of beauty! Our butler, Chris, was enthusiastic and attentive, which we really appreciated. Looking forward to our next trip!

We celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary with our son at the St. Regis Sanya. On the day of our check-in, our dedicated butler, YUKIJIU, surprised us with a lovely cake 🍰 and was incredibly responsive and professional. Whatever we needed, she delivered. For the next two nights, we upgraded to a pool room, which our son absolutely loved. We also went on a coral reef sightseeing boat and tried kayaking. We had a fantastic experience during our four-night stay. It truly lives up to its reputation as one of the top luxury hotels. We'll definitely choose the St. Regis again on our next trip to Sanya.

David, our butler, contacted us a day before check-in and provided excellent service throughout our stay. He helped with reservations and gave us helpful information. Since we had a baby, he even proactively asked if we needed a late check-out. The room was spacious with two sinks and was kept very clean. It wasn't as old as some online reviews suggested. The hotel's breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The Chinese restaurant's set menu and the sour-and-spicy hotpot at Yuehai Bar were also excellent, and the service staff were fantastic. I thought I'd need to order two portions of fatty beef, but the server suggested we try one first and order more if needed, and to my surprise, one portion was huge! Everything about our stay at this hotel was great! We'll definitely be back!

I was quite apprehensive before coming here because of the mixed reviews online, but after checking in, I found it to be excellent. The room had a great view, and all the staff were very friendly. Our butler, David, was always available to promptly resolve any issues, and he checked in daily to ask if we needed anything else. The best part was the spacious room and wide balcony. The breakfast buffet was also decent. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would choose St. Regis again next time.

Honestly, the hotel's views and breakfast were both fantastic, really delicious, not nearly as bad as some online reviews claimed. The butler was also very responsive to all our requests. However, I think if the hotel knew I was traveling with a child, they should have prepared child-specific amenities in advance, like a children's pillow, instead of me having to ask the butler for it. Also, there should be more concierge staff at the entrance. I've stayed at many hotels, big and small, in Sanya, and the St. Regis is the worst in this regard. Sometimes when there are a lot of people getting out of cars at the entrance, those who truly need help are often overlooked. If they pay more attention to these details, I think it would be perfect. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance. The restaurants nearby are quite close and don't overcharge. 😊

The bedding is comfortable, the bathrooms are high-end, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic sea views. The public areas are meticulously maintained, as if brand new. The enormous heated pool and private white sand beach are clean and inviting. The nightly sabrage ritual and tasting events create a perfect resort atmosphere.

2. **Exceptional Service:** The 24-hour butler service lives up to its reputation. They communicated with us before check-in and were incredibly responsive and accommodating to every request once we arrived. They were highly professional with luggage handling, room tidying, and travel recommendations. All staff members greeted us with smiles, providing warm yet discreet service, making us feel truly pampered throughout our stay.

This Hainan trip with my parents took us from Raffles Lingshui, to Grand Hyatt Shenzhou Peninsula, then Grand Hyatt Haitang Bay, and finally St. Regis. Each hotel had its own unique charm, and I'd give them all a perfect score. But honestly, St. Regis was truly next level (and so was the price, naturally). Our butler, Chris, not only added me on WeChat beforehand but also helped us check in upon arrival. We were lucky enough to get a two-bedroom pool suite. She immediately upgraded all the perks listed on Ctrip right there on the spot. When I bought some swimming goggles through a flash sale and asked if someone could deliver them, she personally brought them to our room 5 minutes later. When I asked if we could have more coffee capsules, a whole bag appeared instantly... The list goes on and on, I could write for three days and still not cover everything. It truly lives up to its reputation as an Astor residence, a pioneer in butler service. My dad walked into the lobby, saw the ocean view, and exclaimed, 'Wow, poverty truly limits the imagination!' My phone can't capture it, so you'll just have to experience it for yourselves.

This is a glowing review I wrote for the Grand Hyatt. Honestly, I really wanted to go back to the St. Regis 😭. A friend recommended this hotel, and I booked it without doing any research. The hotel called three days in advance to ask about any requests and double-checked the notes I left online. A day before arrival, our butler, Seven, added me on WeChat. She clearly understood my needs without me having to repeat myself and even asked if I had any additional requests. Since this was my first trip with my one-year-and-seven-month-old baby, I was a bit nervous. But Seven was incredibly responsive and accommodating; she fulfilled every single request I made! I'm truly, truly grateful to her; she eased so much of my anxiety.

As for the hotel environment, it's absolutely beautiful. It's not at all old or outdated as some online reviews claim. I don't care if the toilet is smart or not; the entire room's facilities are very well-maintained. It truly embodies that 'old money' aesthetic mentioned online. I stayed in a Manor Pool View room, which also offered a glimpse of the ocean – I absolutely loved it.

This was my child's first trip, and I could feel that the hotel staff were very accommodating and fond of children. They let kids ride the mini train and use the rainbow slide freely. My child was too young for the slide, but we rode the mini train at least twice a day!

The public areas had shared sand-digging tools and swim rings by the pool. We went to the bubble show every day, and my child was incredibly happy!

The breakfast was very rich, and there were plenty of options for kids. We enjoyed our breakfast every day.

Now I really want to go back to the St. Regis! I love the St. Regis, and I'll definitely go again next time! Thanks again, Seven, looking forward to meeting you again!!!
