The room was very clean, didn't have the musty smell mentioned online, actually quite fresh, and the layout was well-designed. The hotel offers a lot of activities, and the nightlife is really vibrant. The public areas are beautiful with plenty of photo opportunities, and the complimentary photos turned out great. I had a wonderful stay here; every staff member was smiling and any issues were promptly resolved. I'll definitely be back.

Facilities: The hotel rooms are a bit older, not as new. The elevators are quite new, so you don't have to wait long, which is very convenient. There are also many pools and they are very clean.
Hygiene: Very clean. It's also convenient to wash your feet after playing on the beach, as there's a dedicated area nearby.

Service: There's a dedicated hotel staff member who can answer any questions, which is quite good. The front desk is also very responsive to requests, and the staff, including housekeeping, are all professional.
There are also plenty of activities for children~

The room was spotless, spacious, and bright, with soft and comfortable bedding that ensured a very restful sleep. The cleanliness details were meticulously handled, and the toiletries were well-stocked. Jojo was fantastic! 👍👍 The staff were warm, attentive, and polite, promptly responding to all our needs. The zipline was exhilarating! My stay was absolutely fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Jojo is amazing!

We stayed at MGM Sanya for three nights, in a golf-view room on the 8th floor. It wasn't damp or musty, the room was really comfortable, clean, and spacious, with a great open view. Overall, the experience was fantastic.

The swimming pools were the biggest highlight. All the hotel pools are heated, so it wasn't cold at all even swimming in the evening. The kids went wild for the big slide in the children's pool area, going up and down over a dozen times. There's also a zipline that adults can enjoy, which was pretty thrilling sliding over the pool area. We also tried the banana boat; getting splashed when it went fast was a blast.

The kids' club isn't huge, but it has slides, building blocks, and small toys, which was perfectly sufficient for younger children.

Food-wise, I have to praise both the breakfast and the buffet. The variety was extensive, and the food was delicious. A small detail that was quite heartwarming: on the second day at breakfast, my child asked if they could get some sliced cucumber. Lo and behold, on the third day, there was a plate of sliced cucumber in the salad bar. I'm not sure if it was a coincidence, but if the staff actually took the suggestion and added it that day, their responsiveness is truly impressive.

The evening M Show is definitely worth watching; with acrobatics, dancing, and audience interaction, the atmosphere was incredible. After the show, we found a spot at the beach bar, listened to the singer, enjoyed the sea breeze, and had some drinks. It was very relaxing and comfortable.

Finally, about the service. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurants, all the staff we encountered were friendly and very responsive.

In summary, MGM Sanya is highly recommended for families with kids; the children have plenty to do, and the adults can relax.

We stayed in the golf-view family suite with two bedrooms, and it was a fantastic experience! The room was very clean, spacious, and bright. The kids' area was wonderfully decorated and full of fun, which my children absolutely loved. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the facilities were complete. The service was warm and attentive, and there were plenty of parent-child activities; the zip line was especially thrilling. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

Our two-bedroom ocean-view room was on the 8th floor with a partial sea view, directly facing the MGM resort, so we could see the M Show and the pool, which was quite lively. However, one of the bedrooms had a very basic bathroom with no shower facilities, which was inconvenient. Also, only one window opened to the balcony, meaning one room had a balcony while the other had a floor-to-ceiling window. The indoor lighting was quite dim at night, and there was no table for dining. If we wanted to eat in the room, we had to call to have a dining table brought up. Overall, the amenities weren't as good as the 'Trendsetter' two-bedroom ocean-view room, but it was good value for money.

The MGM Grand Sanya Yalong Bay is absolutely the ultimate family-friendly resort! Its prime location boasts fantastic ocean views, and the sandy beach is incredibly fine. With a kids' bubble island, a petting zoo, and a 'Dreamland' kids' club, there are so many activities to keep children entertained all day long. The rooms are clean, and the green lawns are beautiful. The service is attentive, with staff who are warm and thorough. The dining options are diverse, making it super easy to stay here with kids. Along Yalong Bay, hotels are lined up one after another, and with a few exceptions, their prices are all quite similar. The choice of which hotel to pick really comes down to personal preference.

1. **Choice:** If you're looking for a quieter stay, Hilton or Marriott would be good options, as they don't have too many organized activities. If you want to relax while your kids have plenty of space to burn off energy and learn some skills, MGM is the place to be. They have a wide variety of pools and activities. My nine-year-old learned to surf in just an hour!

2. **Sand:** Lying on the beach is okay, but forget about snorkeling to see fish or anything – there's nothing there, and the sand is quite coarse and uncomfortable underfoot. The lack of fine sand is a big downside.

3. **Activities:** There are lots of activities, which means lots of kids, making it incredibly noisy.

4. **Breakfast:** It's decent, but after 8 AM, you'll have to queue to get in because it gets too crowded.

5. **Afternoon Tea:** The most impressive part for me was the cakes at the chocolate house – they were delicious! Not those mushy, soft types!

6. **Milk Tea:** I found it to be mediocre. The pearls were rock hard, and the tea was very astringent!

7. **Accommodation:** The room was quite spacious, but the facilities are a bit dated. For example, the power outlets and the light control panel. The worst part was that the toilet in my room was leaking, which was really annoying...

8. **Photos:** The beach looks beautiful for photos on a clear day.
