The hotel's scenery is excellent, and the apartment-style room is perfect for families traveling with children. I could work in the living room with the door closed, so it didn't disturb the kids sleeping in the bedroom. The large lawn was fantastic. Yolanda provided warm and thoughtful service, and she was very quick to respond to my questions on WeChat.

The Capybara King Room was great! It had a projector with mini-games, which my child absolutely loved. The room also came with kid-friendly amenities like a step stool for the sink, a toilet seat, a children's toiletries set, and cartoon bedding. There's an indoor play area and an outdoor activity zone, and the lake view is beautiful! Yolanda from Guest Relations contacted me a day in advance and provided excellent personalized service. Highly recommend for families traveling with children!

This hotel is nestled between Jinji Lake and Dushu Lake, both of which are expansive and impressive, surrounded by lush green lawns. The hotel boasts excellent facilities and a wide array of family-friendly activities. The pool is spotless and larger than those found in other five-star hotels. The Munich beer is a unique highlight.

Arrived quite early in the morning and checked in quickly. I think they upgraded our room for free because we had elderly people and children with us, and they even installed bed rails. The hotel environment is great, and the kids' activities were really fun; my children had a blast. Even though the hotel is a bit older, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the facilities, and everything is very well-maintained. This will definitely be our first choice for our next trip.

They kindly upgraded me to a lake-view suite, and the three-sided lake view was indeed stunning. The room itself was incredibly spacious, with three open-plan areas. However, it rained for three consecutive days, and the room lighting was dim. Combined with its vastness and being at the end of the corridor, I was spooked for three nights straight and couldn't sleep well. Since the hotel was fully booked, there was no way to change rooms. I guess I'm just not cut out for these massive open-plan suites.

I stayed at Kempinski with my colleagues a long time ago, and this time I chose it again with my family during our visit to Suzhou. Many thanks to Yolanda for the room upgrade, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful lake view from our room once more. Suzhou is a beautiful city, and I'll definitely be back.

This was a great value-for-money stay, and a fantastic place for kids! 😂 Originally, after the concert, I wanted to head home, but my child didn't want to leave, and it started raining with nowhere else to go, so we ended up here. Although we missed the midday activities, there's a kids' play area and a pool. Both Chinese and Western meals can be enjoyed at the hotel. You can hand your child over to the hotel's kids' activities, and the adults can relax nearby. The hotel environment and service are excellent, the room facilities are great, and the views outside are beautiful. The room booking included one breakfast, and children over 6 years old pay half price. Personally, I found the breakfast buffet to be much better value than the lunch buffet. You can reserve a table, and the restaurant offers beautiful lake views.

The hotel is backed by Dushu Lake and faces Jinji Lake Golf Course, offering a uniquely beautiful environment. It has its own dedicated pier where you can enjoy a leisurely boat ride on the lake. The hotel service is excellent; the day before yesterday, a handsome staff member even helped us with a room upgrade. The Chinese restaurant's dishes are delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Suzhou.
