Shanghai Fuyue Hotel in Shanghai

My recent stay at the Shanghai Fuyue Hotel in Songjiang New City exceeded my expectations. It's a high-value luxury hotel.

Upon arrival, the grand, high-ceilinged lobby immediately caught my eye. The decor is opulent and tasteful, with magnificent chandeliers and lush greenery creating a fantastic ambiance – someone even joked, 'I thought I was in Macau!' Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were gentle and friendly, offering welcome tea and a complimentary upgrade to a room on the 28th floor. There was even an elevator attendant at the lift entrance, showcasing excellent attention to detail in their service.

The room itself was spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing great natural light and expansive views. Being on a high floor, I could overlook the Songjiang scenery and the hotel's large lawn. The room was immaculately clean, with no unpleasant odors in the corners. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the shower water temperature was stable, and the wet/dry separation design was very convenient. The room also featured an extra-large bathtub, which was incredibly relaxing for a soak. The mini-bar drinks and capsule coffee machine were also well-stocked.

The hotel boasts extensive facilities, including a gym on the second floor. The buffet breakfast on the first floor offered a wide variety of choices, and I also tried the hotel's dinner buffet, which was good value for money.

The location is another plus. Wanda Plaza is directly across the road from the main entrance, just a few minutes' walk away, making dining, shopping, and going to the cinema very convenient.

Overall, the Shanghai Fuyue Hotel maintains high standards in terms of hardware facilities, cleanliness, and service. The price is also more affordable compared to similar hotels in downtown Shanghai. It was a very satisfying stay, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Songjiang.

The hotel boasts an incredibly spacious and impressive lobby, very popular on social media, with a grand design and a pleasant fragrance – it feels high-end and luxurious. The room itself is expansive with excellent natural light, spotlessly clean, and the facilities are well-maintained and look new. The bathroom amenities are thoughtful, with a super practical bidet. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a good night's rest as soon as you lie down, and the soundproofing is excellent, completely undisturbed by outside noise.

The location is superb, situated in Songjiang New City, directly opposite Wanda Plaza, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also close to Sheshan, Happy Valley, and Chenshan Botanical Garden, perfect for a stress-free holiday. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, including a gym, a heated swimming pool, and a kids' club, all available to guests at a great value. The staff are polite, enthusiastic, and respond promptly with meticulous service. Breakfast offers a wide variety of fresh ingredients. Whether for business meetings, work trips, or short family vacations, this is my top choice. I've saved it and will definitely stay here again next time I visit Shanghai!

We stayed at Fuyue with our child, and mealtime was completely stress-free! We bought the buffet dinner on-site, which had steak, desserts, and ice cream that kids love. The seafood was incredibly fresh, even still twitching – we could eat it with complete confidence. For breakfast the next day, there were soup dumplings, steamed buns, desserts, and fruits that my child enjoyed, all varied and fresh. The entire hotel is super kid-friendly, and the staff were very patient with children. The front desk gave us tickets to the amusement park, which was perfect for a full day of fun over the weekend. The room was spacious, with a huge 2.5-meter wide bed, making it really comfortable for families with kids; the three of us didn't feel cramped at all. Overall, eating with a child here was convenient and worry-free. Plus, there's a Wanda Plaza nearby. I highly recommend it for families traveling with children.
