The room is tiny. Live bed bugs were found on the bed during my stay at this Atour Hotel. The hotel’s routine disinfection only targets cockroaches and mosquitoes, with no dedicated bed bug prevention and control measures. Daily room hygiene inspections are inadequate. Bed bugs are rare in domestic accommodation facilities across China, yet this hotel has such a pest problem. Bed bug bites may cause skin irritation and allergic reactions, and the pests can spread through luggage, bringing considerable health risks.

The hygiene was really concerning. I was already exhausted, and then the next morning when I was leaving, I found a clump of hair on the bed. Why wouldn't they change the sheets between guests? If they had, this wouldn't have happened. I never write reviews, but this really annoyed me, so I had to.

I stayed from June 7th to 12th. The staff were friendly, the hotel facilities were excellent, the food was delicious, and the late-night service was thoughtful. My first stay was fantastic, and I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai!

The location is excellent, situated in the bustling Xujiahui area.
The service was good; I constantly saw busy robots delivering food and water. Laundry was free, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious!

However, it was the first time I'd seen a double bed that wasn't parallel, but head-to-head, which was strange. I asked the front desk to change rooms, and they said only the family rooms had parallel beds. Also, the toilets I stayed in the first few days didn't have bidet flushing, only automatic flushing, but they had on subsequent stays. Why is that? The room rate was the same, so it was a disappointment.

It was great! Would stay here again. Super close to subway and easy to get around. Ok the hallway was shabby looking, but the room was modern, clean, and good AC. The only drawbacks was no fridge, no closet and no elevator. But you cant expect to have everything when living this cheap in a bit city. We were super happy with our stay, and felt perfectly safe as two you women.

This felt like a good value. No elevator wasn’t great but it’s only the third floor so it’s fine for a short trip without a lot of luggage.

Just a quick stopover. Aside from the lack of an elevator, which was a bit inconvenient, everything else was acceptable for the price.

Terrible hotel. My booking clearly stated check-out was at 3 PM, but they called me before 2 PM to rush me out.

I stayed for five days, and it felt even more cozy than my own home.

When I checked out, the handsome receptionist thoughtfully offered me water and snacks: freshly baked cookies for me to take on my journey… I was so touched!

I'll definitely come back next time; there's no other choice! 😍
