The entrance of the lobby is gorgeous. Wonderful location and we loved the breakfast. The only downside was the rooms seem a bit dated. A little musty and not the cleanest. Doesn’t match the rest of the hotel in standards.

The environment is great, and the location is super convenient for getting anywhere, with a subway station right outside the door. However, the room was a bit damp, and I'm not sure how to resolve that. I would still consider staying here again next time.

Perfect location! The desserts at the executive lounge were amazing, especially the chocolate cake – it was so rich and dense. The staff were warm and genuinely helpful, and their attention to detail really showed the quality of service.

This is a very, very old hotel. The shower, bed, pillows—everything was just average. It's not as comfortable as Atour. However, the location is absolutely superb and faultless. I would still stay here again for business trips.

I STAYED IN THISD HOTEL FOR 7 NIGHTS. OVERALL A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. Restaurant is very much limited in offering vegetarian/vegan foods, outside the hotel certain people loitering and offering massage services can be a bothersome. Overall it is an excellent location and property.

Comfortable rooms with full amenities. Only stayed 2 nights. Shower can be tricky to use! Pull the ring down on the hose under the faucet to turn shower on. They almost need a sign. Easy access to temple metro station. Restaurants within walking distance. Super serious security and parking enforcement outside of hotel.

The room was clean, and WiFi was so fast and stable. It takes about 7~8 minutes from Jing'an temple station on foot. Highly recommended.

Let's start with the positives: it's a rare hotel on Wukang Road, boasting a unique historical building, and the breakfast and service attitude are excellent. However, the room was indeed too small, to the point of feeling a bit crude. Even for Shanghai, the hotel's attention to detail doesn't quite match the price. I was simply curious to experience it.

Chose Julu Garden again, and coincidentally, stayed in the same room as last time. The attentive service for my elderly parents and young children made them feel comfortable and happy, allowing us to experience the charm of a Shikumen garden house. Very basic and dated hotel with very small rooms. The bathroom is quite old with poor lighting and the glass separating the shower from the room was mouldy. The breakfast was a simple congee from KFC delivered in the morning.

The room isn't huge, but it's cozy and warm! The hygiene is excellent, and the staff are very diligent, always ready to help with cleaning and replenishing supplies. Breakfast is great, quite varied, and they even offer late-night congee! Plus, there are two good hospitals right nearby.

The room is large and tidy, and the street is outside the second-floor window, which is suitable for friends who like the style of old houses. The key is the excellent location, surrounded by Anfu Road, Wukang Road and Changle Road, you can go shopping at any time, especially to feel the quiet shade of the sycamore trees at night, the experience is full!

Right by the south side of the Yan'an Elevated Road, so getting onto the highway is super convenient. This hotel, under the Rongtong brand, is really good; the rooms are well soundproofed. Breakfast and the lobby service are both excellent. Plus, ordering takeout is a breeze!

The decor is a bit dated, but it's still fairly clean. The bathtub in the room drained a bit slowly, so you'd end up showering in half a tub of water. The service staff at breakfast were a bit stiff, but the ladies at the front desk were quite friendly. Overall, it was just an average experience.

Fantastic customer service, the location is great and very close to public transport. I’d recommend you stay in the main building, either go for city view or garden view, as the main building is much better than the North building and East building. Breakfast is good value for money. The Yan An Hotel is located at the convenience location at the Shanghai. It's near to the metro station and easy access to the Shanghai main attraction. This hotel can easily reach to the The Bund by car. Will stay at this hotel again in next visit to Shanghai.
