Ji Hotel Shanghai People's Square Fujian Middle Road in Shanghai

A good location for tourists. Near to tourist attraction and easier to get food. Although the hotel room is a bit small but still okay.
Keep in mind that the bathroom has not lock. The checkin time is a bit not common at 4pm in the evening not the usual 1 or 2pm. So for customers will be a bit problem with their luggages though you can leave them with the hotel staffs. And then you either wait or walking around and come back later for entering the room or you might want to came later in the evening after you finished the checkin process but cannot access the room until 4pm and leave your luggages with them.

Staying here for 4 nights. I change the room 3 times just to make sure our internet is running well, since we are foreigners can't use their wifi.
We argue a little bit about the room but that was because the first room is having a weak signal to our internet so we can't use whatsapp, while their wechat is running so good.
But, thanks to the lady staff she's well understanding and tried the best so we can get the room with good signal.

The location is good with many restaurant and fruit shop. I recommend foreigners to stay here. But, hopefully you can get the right room.
Btw the video I put here is the first room and no signal, so don't take the room. I forgot what room numbers were then.

Very awesome location in the center of Shanghai with a lot of food options around you. There's a subway station/underground mall level with great restaurants.

The hotel staff (including cleaning staff and chefs at the breakfast) are so much nicer than we experienced anywhere in Europe so far (and we live in Europe)! Really nice!

The breakfast buffet is big, lots of options, very very tasty!

The rooms are modern, AC doesn't smell old or unclean and is efficient (opposite of anything in Italy or the rest of Europe). Every room has fast wifi and a huge TV.
Beds are comfortable with 2 types of cushions, quilt is nice and warm.
Bedding and towels is spotless clean.

Especially nice are their toiletries aromas and fragrances!

You get an unlimited amount of bottled water and every room has packages of quality Chinese tea!

All in all just great! From now on every time we're in China, we look for this chain.
