I highly recommend Conrad Shanghai for first-time visitors to the city. The neon lights nearby are incredibly cinematic, and besides the great location, the hotel staff are fantastic, especially Ivy, Evelyn, and Thena, who provided very attentive service.

Overall, pretty good! For those driving, make sure to go to the first counter at the front desk to register your license plate and get a parking voucher. For a Radisson brand hotel with those prices, the room is VERY poorly appointed, even though I was assigned the cheapest room. Old carpets, a TV the size of a computer monitor, and an incredibly old and dirty curtain. The only good thing is its proximity to the Metro station, but I’d rather walk two blocks and stay at the Conrad, Holiday Inn, or Crowne Plaza for a similar price. I travel every year...

Hotel is located very near to train station and amenities. But the room is very small with no window. Have to pay extra to get a room with window , aircon not working after first night - super warm but they changed a room for me after complaining. Overall ok if you don’t mind the small area

After taking the kids to Disneyland, we stayed near the Bund. The Ji Hotel on Jinling East Road is close to Yu Garden, which is very convenient for transportation. It's just one subway stop away from Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a ten-minute walk from the Bund. They also offer free laundry, which was perfect for my needs. The service was great. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, there was still enough variety. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
