I highly recommend Conrad Shanghai for first-time visitors to the city. The neon lights nearby are incredibly cinematic, and besides the great location, the hotel staff are fantastic, especially Ivy, Evelyn, and Thena, who provided very attentive service.

Overall, pretty good! For those driving, make sure to go to the first counter at the front desk to register your license plate and get a parking voucher. The location is very convenient, and the staff, Freya, CICI, and IVY, are very responsible. Freya, in particular, made a great impression during check-in.

For a Radisson brand hotel with those prices, the room is VERY poorly appointed, even though I was assigned the cheapest room. Old carpets, a TV the size of a computer monitor, and an incredibly old and dirty curtain. The only good thing is its proximity to the Metro station, but I’d rather walk two blocks and stay at the Conrad, Holiday Inn, or Crowne Plaza for a similar price. I travel every year...

The Radisson's location is super convenient for getting around. Jackie was so kind and helpful when she called me beforehand, she even arranged our room in advance so we didn't have to wait to check in. I stayed at The Middle House for five nights and had a very comfortable experience. The staff were all very friendly, especially Nifty, who arranged everything perfectly before and after check-in. I enjoyed staying here. It was in a beautiful location. My 17th floor room window faced the Pudong business district, so I got to watch those skyscrapers light up every night. The window handle in the bathroom was broken, and the bathroom would smell a bit musty if I left that window closed, but it was also incredibly humid when I was there.

The Pictures of the Room are very misleading. We had 8 rooms and non were like the pictures here. Most didn't even had a window, because they where inside rooms. Only an upper window toward the hallway. Overall most of our rooms were really old. Carpets and Walls were dirty. We only stayed 2 nights, but unfortunately we would never book it again.

This is a 4-star hotel in a great location. It's just a short walk to the subway station, making it easy to get anywhere. Zhangyuan, Chairman Mao's former residence, and the site of the Second National Congress of the Communist Party of China are all just around the corner.
