The views are unbeatable, especially when the city lights come on – truly a spectacular oriental scene. My room was upgraded to a Sky Suite, offering stunning panoramic night views of Lujiazui. Breakfast was lavish, with a wide variety of international dishes. The service was elegant, warm, yet discreet.

The room directly faced the Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower and the 'three-piece suit' (Lujiazui skyline), offering an absolutely stunning view. The staff were also excellent, always smiling and providing great service. I'll definitely choose W Hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai.

Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a Fantasy Suite. I requested a room ending in '10' and though it wasn't on a high floor, the 'three-piece' (bathroom amenities) facing me when I entered at night were truly excellent! 👍

The hotel boasts a very friendly neighborhood, conveniently located near the Lujiazui central area in Pudong. From here, you can spot Pudong's iconic 'kitchen trio' skyscrapers and other landmarks. It's also in close proximity to the Pudong Art Museum and various other museums, surrounded by a very well-established community.

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt the night before going to Universal Studios, and checked in a bit late, which caused a slight delay. The hygiene was decent, but the makeup mirror in the bathroom was really inconvenient – it was too low and kept sliding down, clearly broken. The biggest issue, though, was that parking wasn't complimentary.
