Shanghai, No. 839 Jinfeng Road, Minhang District (20 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy, with complete and convenient facilities. The hygiene is excellent, and the service is attentive and reassuring. It's an ideal choice for business travelers. I recommend giving it a try if you have the chance.
This is a well-established five-star hotel with a very grand lobby. The rooms are spacious, the service is warm and friendly, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options.
I booked three rooms with payment upon arrival. When I called the front desk to pay for the rooms, they provided efficient and helpful service. They informed me about the possibility of canceling one room and clearly explained the procedures and reminders. In the end, all guests were very satisfied and extended their stay for an additional room. I contacted Jessica again to process the invoice and...
Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Service and staff was amazing, helpful and made my honeymoon special. Can’t wait to come back and stay longer.
Really nice hotel. Great swimmingpool inside and outside. Good service and nice fresh hotel with balcony.
This hotel has a lovely Spanish decor style. The lobby is grand, and you're greeted by a pleasant fragrance as soon as you step in. Every room comes with a large balcony. At night, when the lights are on, you get a clear view of the impressive, 'instagrammable' pool. It's not open yet, but it should be for summer. The service is excellent; they're always happy to help with any questions. It's an ideal...

Stayed at the Hilton on May 10th. Frank at the front desk was incredibly helpful, proactively upgrading me to an executive room with an amazing view. The room was very spacious, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the cleanliness was also spot on, with every corner spotless. Upon check-in, I was even given warm chocolate chip cookies, a thoughtful detail that was really heartwarming. My entire...
The manager and staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout my stay, making my travel experience truly enjoyable.”
The room was great, with fantastic views of Pudong's 'three-piece suit' (Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center). Xiao Huang and Heidi provided warm and professional service.
You can see the sunrise and sunset over Shanghai from here. The Japanese breakfast selection was also plentiful. The room was cleaned to a high standard, and the public areas were very grand. From the sunset-facing rooms, you can even spot the 'Shanghai Trio' (Lujiazui's three iconic skyscrapers).
The room was clean and tidy, and the service was warm, thoughtful, and attentive. There were even complimentary snacks upon check-in, and the cookies were delicious! 🤩 The executive lounge was quite good; it would be perfect if they offered hot milk. 😊 My child absolutely loved the kids' play area.
Great hotel! We had a really nice view! The hotel staff was really great! From the front lobby lady Heidi who spoke really good English and who was really helpful to housekeeping who had lot of attention to details like a little cup for hour jeweleries and small sheet under my make up which I found was really thoughtful.

The atrium on the first floor of this hotel has a nice ambiance, perfect for meetings. The only downside was that the front desk staff were cold and lacked a service mindset during check-in.
I regularly stay at the Himalaya for trade shows, and Vicky is always so enthusiastic and helps me out with so many things. I'll definitely come back and find you again for the next show!
This hotel completely blew my expectations for affordable accommodation out of the water! The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was clean and wrinkle-free, and Vicky provided excellent service. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby. It's definitely the best value for money at this price point. I'll absolutely be staying here again next time!
Served by Vicky, it was a pleasant and friendly stay. The rooms are spacious and amenities are good.
Five-star review! The hotel environment is quiet and comfortable, and the room was exceptionally clean with great attention to detail. The facilities are comprehensive; the hot water and internet speed were excellent. The staff were gentle and thoughtful, responding promptly to all requests. Transportation is convenient, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. It felt safe and comfortable to...
The hotel's location is its biggest advantage, being incredibly close to the exhibition center. The service was also excellent; the first round of drinks in the mini-bar fridge was a generous touch. The staff went above and beyond to fulfill all requests, especially a tall, slim lady with glasses at the front desk who was particularly kind and friendly. The service was excellent, truly excellent. Every staff member greeted us with a smile, making us feel very welcome, just like home. The dinner included in the room rate was great; the portions were generous, and the food tasted delicious.
I was staying alone at first, and when my friends arrived later, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a twin room. It's an older hotel overall, but it's quite convenient for both the South Railway Station and Caohejing Road Metro Station.
The room is well-equipped, clean, and tidy. The environment is beautiful, and the service is attentive. I'm sure the experience would be even better in spring, summer, or autumn.
Excellent location! It's very close to Metro Exit 8, and conveniently located near several major hospitals. The room was clean and tidy!
I booked this room for my foreign friends who were visiting Shanghai. They told me they had a good stay. The breakfast selection was excellent, with both Chinese and Western options that suited their tastes, and the view from the room's window was also very nice. I chose this hotel for a business trip to Shanghai. The location is excellent, mainly because it's very close to where I needed to go; I could reach the subway in 5 minutes. Friendly and happy service, arrived slightly early but had no problem with check in. Enjoyed a great tasting Lasagna and service in the Casalingo Italian restaurant. Overall a lovely hotel experience, will use again when in the area.
Very good experience, very friendly and helpful staff.

The views are unbeatable, especially when the city lights come on – truly a spectacular oriental scene. My room was upgraded to a Sky Suite, offering stunning panoramic night views of Lujiazui. Breakfast was lavish, with a wide variety of international dishes. The service was elegant, warm, yet discreet.
The room directly faced the Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower and the 'three-piece suit' (Lujiazui skyline), offering an absolutely stunning view. The staff were also excellent, always smiling and providing great service. I'll definitely choose W Hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai.
Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a Fantasy Suite. I requested a room ending in '10' and though it wasn't on a high floor, the 'three-piece' (bathroom amenities) facing me when I entered at night were truly excellent! 👍
The hotel location is nice , not a very busy area and no noise, the view was perfect and the staff were welcoming , definitely coming back to this hotel on my next visit to Shanghai
The concierge department was very responsive. Every time I asked them to help deliver takeout, they did a great job. Thumbs up for their service! I always stay at this hotel, and it's consistently good.

Came back to Renaissance Hotel for the May Day holiday again. Enjoyed the wide variety of options at both the buffet dinner and breakfast. This business hotel in the park actually lowered its prices during the holiday instead of raising them, which makes it excellent value for money.
Everything about this hotel was great, especially the service. The staff were perfectly placed; just a wave in the lobby and someone would immediately come to assist. Recommended by a friend, this was my first stay at Jinjiang Hotel. As an old-brand hotel, it truly exudes a rich heritage with its vintage architecture and decor, perfectly capturing the essence of old Shanghai. The location is excellent, making travel very convenient.

The Jinjiang Hotel is in a super convenient location, and the service is excellent. The staff proactively reached out to confirm our accommodation needs, and the rooms were comfortable and cozy. Overall, a great experience!
Traveled to Jiangnan with my elderly father! The room service was great, but some of the amenities were a bit old, like the makeup mirror and hairdryer. Also, the cilantro in the breakfast didn't seem very fresh, and the chopsticks were mismatched (one longer than the other)! However, the overall experience was still quite good, especially the views and lunch.

We stayed here from May 8 to 10, 2026. We're so lucky to be able to enjoy absolutely amazing view of the center of Pudong from our room. The room was very clean and very quiet as well. It's so convenient to access the subway system, the shopping mall and restaurant, etc. all nearby. The staffs are all very welcoming and I will definitely come back again for my next trip.
This was my first solo trip to Shanghai, and as a Japanese traveler, I was really impressed with the breakfast. The hotel is great, the breakfast is excellent, the only downside is that they don't deliver food to the room; you have to go downstairs and get it yourself from the cupboard, which is quite inconvenient considering the price you pay. I booked an expensive room and it doesn't have that convenience. Otherwise, it's great; there are people who speak English and help with luggage.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the service is very attentive. It was Labor Day, so rooms were in high demand. Sicily at the front desk went out of her way to reserve a room for me, which allowed me to plan my trip freely without worrying about having nowhere to stay. Thumbs up!

The breakfast selection was quite generous, and the hotel environment was what you'd expect. Perhaps due to the season, there was a slight musty smell in the hallway on our floor. It's very close to both the company I was visiting for work and Disneyland. As an annual pass holder, I even managed to squeeze in a quick visit to Disneyland in the evening!
Check-in was super fast, no waiting in line. The room was spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, so I slept really well. The soundproofing was good too; I wasn't disturbed by any noise at night. Overall, the experience was better than I expected.

We booked two rooms, and while the wait for the rooms to be ready for check-in was a bit long, they ended up upgrading one of them and placing both rooms on the same floor, which was a nice touch. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, though, and it's a bit of a walk from the subway station.
I booked a twin room, and it was spacious enough for two adults and one child traveling together. While some say the facilities are old, the bathroom has actually been renovated. The lighting is bright, and there's a vanity stool. The shower is a bit small but acceptable.
The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the food is quite good. It would be even better if they offered some local Shanghai specialties...
I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Lou, was enthusiastic and attentive, patiently assisting me with any questions I had, and was always friendly and professional. The housekeeping staff was meticulous and thorough, paying close attention to details. I'd especially like to commend Managers Li and Lucy from the floor staff for their thoughtful and heartwarming...
Everything about the room was great. As an older five-star hotel, the materials used are excellent, and I especially loved the chair – it was so comfortable. It would be even better if the carpet could be removed!
An older hotel with dated facilities, it definitely has that old-money vibe. It's now under Marriott, though I heard it's been downgraded. The location is super convenient with Century Avenue and the metro station nearby.
The hotel service was excellent. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the restaurant staff were highly professional. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which is great for families with kids. Plus, the location is really convenient.
