This hotel offers a quiet retreat in a bustling area with convenient transportation. There are plenty of dining options nearby. The well-maintained lawn is a delight, and the breakfast is diverse and delicious. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai.

Starving after a long day, I returned to the hotel and ordered a 'Beef Vermicelli Curry Soup' dim sum set. Halfway through, I realized something was off – it was clearly sliced brined ham with vermicelli and soy sauce broth.
I just wanted to offer feedback, and here's what happened next, verbatim:
The F&B department said, "We consider it beef."
This statement altered my perception.
Beef: Brown, fibrous, meaty aroma.
Ham: Pink, starchy texture, cheap ham flavor.
I have photos of the actual dish. This already borders on violating Article 20 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law, which prohibits false or misleading advertising.
The lobby manager said, "I'm sorry you weren't satisfied."
This is a classic bait-and-switch – changing 'the dish has quality issues' to 'the guest subjectively dislikes it.'
The most ridiculous part: the room service attendant collected payment, and the recipient was a personal account.
A long-standing hotel with state-owned assets background, and their B2B transactions go through a personal Alipay account. The Alipay recipient wasn't Jinjiang Hotel, but a personal name.

Recommended by a friend, this was my first stay at Jinjiang Hotel. As an old-brand hotel, it truly exudes a rich heritage with its vintage architecture and decor, perfectly capturing the essence of old Shanghai. The location is excellent, making travel very convenient.
The hotel service is thoughtful, with multiple inquiries about whether I needed housekeeping or amenity refills. During my stay, they even had a guest room慰问 (a visit to check on guests), offering a fruit platter. The staff were all warm and polite. The room itself was clean, tidy, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. I do think there's room for improvement in the maintenance and upgrades of the facilities. The breakfast selection was rich and varied. I had one dinner at the Jinmao Hall, which I found to be just average. Overall, I still had a very pleasant experience. I recommend staying here.

The Jinjiang Hotel is in a super convenient location, and the service is excellent. The staff proactively reached out to confirm our accommodation needs, and the rooms were comfortable and cozy. Overall, a great experience!

Traveled to Jiangnan with my elderly father! The room service was great, but some of the amenities were a bit old, like the makeup mirror and hairdryer. Also, the cilantro in the breakfast didn't seem very fresh, and the chopsticks were mismatched (one longer than the other)! However, the overall experience was still quite good, especially the views and lunch.

The environment is fantastic, with a beautiful large lawn. The room was clean and well-stocked with bottled water. I could see the hotel's big lawn right from my window. Definitely worth coming back to!

The room was absolutely fantastic and incredibly spacious. With one large bed and two smaller ones, it's perfect for families with two children. I didn't pay close enough attention when booking, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that afternoon tea and welcome fruit were included. The pastries at afternoon tea were absolutely delicious, I honestly thought they'd just be pretty to look at. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby, and parking is free. Such great value!

Staying at the Jin Nan Tower this time, it's an old-school five-star hotel! The service was just right. The hotel's location is excellent, surrounded by beautiful sycamore-lined avenues, and close to various attractions that are easily accessible by bike. It's perfect for a city walk!
