Very good hotel, a solid five! Very clean! The spa is great! The cleanest sea!

Nice newly renovated rooms with nice private beach, including an adult only area. Great staff, all we met were very friendly and spoke English well. Breakfast was great with an amazing choice of options

The "beach" is a concrete pier with deck chairs and umbrellas, which are free, but many guests reserve them at 8 am and do not show up until noon. The access to the sea is thus either by ladder or by diving

Tiling around pools could use some work, so be careful. Showers are not a great design and hard to keep water in the tub. Rooms are nicely renovated but no real sea views due large trees

The sea is crystal clear but cooler than the Caribbean. The pier has two tiers, separated by a one-foot step, with no warning line, and 6-inch stairs in only a couple locations

The room was comfortable with lots of storage space and a deep enclosed balcony with a sea view. The water in the room was free, but not the rest of the bar

The hotelroom was great, same floor as reception. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. When we asked for water cattle, the staff provided immediately. Hotel situated right at the beach, perfect for long walks

A modern, clean hotel with spacious rooms. (No kettle just coffee machine) Sea views are exceptional but some guests may be put off with music from nearby beach bars etc every day approx 17

We stay in a junior suite, which is comfortable and has a magnificent view of the beautiful sea and Korcula. The food selection is plentiful, and wine, beer, and soft drinks are included in the half-board

We stayed during the last week of the season in October and had a wonderful week. The sea is crystal clear & perfect for swimming. Our room (a junior suite) was spacious although the bathroom was a little small

The fitness center could use a little maintenance, and a sauna would be nice. Overall, it has lost some of its former glory and could do with a facelift, but it is still a lovely place where we enjoy coming every year

Food plentiful and good quality. Plenty of choice (even as a vegetarian). Red wine at meals is good quality. Beautiful walks along the coast path in both directions, and up the hill to the church & cafe

Orebic and the surrounding area, with the Franciscan monastery on the hill and the cemetery next to it, with its sailors from a bygone era and tales of times gone by, are wonderful

The hotel is clean, the staff work hard and are very friendly. The front office manager helps us with everything like a good friend

The room was spacious, spotless, and we loved the partial sea view. The kids had an absolute blast at the pump track, Maro Club, and game room

The restaurant has a large selection and the staff went out of their way to accommodate special diets. The swimming pools are of a high level

Parentino Hotel has truly become one of our favorite family getaway destinations! This time we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and to our surprise, our room was upgraded—making it an even more special weekend

Best beautiful minimal and luxury hotel. Warm colors at the walls and furniture all new and comfortable. Beautiful WC clean with nice colors and glasses. Is a 10 out of 10. Great to team that keeps that standards.

We have had a fantastic holiday in Porec staying at the Hotel Parentino. The hotel was in a good location , clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food is the best we have had

I particularly loved the property's location, as it offers a stunning view and the area is peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik.

Excellent sea view , excellent location 20 min walk from old town , excellent breakfast BUT : the houskeepers don't do their job as it should be done. ( 5 days they just make the bed and put towels

We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, exhausted after a long journey, and were truly delighted to discover that we had been complimentary upgraded to a Presidential Suite

It was such a thoughtful and generous gesture that immediately set the tone for our stay. We spent an absolutely unforgettable day at the hotel, enjoying every moment

The following day, we were kindly invited to use the SPA facilities free of charge, which made our experience even more special and relaxing

Our room was facing the light house. I enjoyed the scenery looking out the Adriatic Sea. Room was spacious and clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We had dine in 2 restaurants in the hotel. Food was marvellous….

The hotel's environment is great, and the sunset sea view is superb! However, the cleanliness of the guest rooms was a letdown, and the service was just so-so! Upon entering the room, I found dust all over the bedside table and wardrobe shelves

Absolutely loved staying at the Palace! We had a beautiful room with a balcony that we very much enjoyed. Lots of space around the pool, great pool bar. It’s also walkable to restaurants around Lapad

The spa was amazing after a tiring day of sightseeing. The bus stop is right outside, making it super convenient to get to the city center, plus the views are absolutely stunning

The front desk manager was nice but seemed ineffective. The attitude and expressions of the restaurant and bar staff were hit or miss; some were good

It has the vibe of an old hotel! However, the hotel's setting is excellent, and its orientation provides an amazing sunset sea view (as shown in Figures 3 and 4)! It definitely beats RIXOS in that regard! The hotel's beach isn't large, but it's not overcrowded, which also gives it an edge over RIXOS! RIXOS's service staff are pretty much the same

The only negative thing is that everyone reserves the beds in the indoor pool before breakfast, even though many of them are not there all morning. Despite the prohibition sign on the wall, no one cares

It's a very good hotel, we had a nice room on the 5th floor with a fantastic seaview. The room was clear and spacious. The hotel is very close to the sea, it's 1 minute

Kudos to Valamar for providing cooking jobs for some people with minor disabilities. External and internal pools provide great pass time, especially for small children

Hotel location is well placed, approx. near the center of great Vela plaža (beach)

This is not necessarily the fault of the hotel staff, but a solution needs to be found. We went down with our little boy on a rainy day and there were no beds available, even though there were hardly any guests

Brunch and dinner are top, with varying selection of meals throughout the week; objections are not enough coffee machines and long wait the bar serving drinks during dinner (at least glasses with tap water could be readily available)

There was a woman working at the pool bar who was unpleasant but otherwise all the staff were incredibly helpful with a high level of service

All were well maintained and there was plenty of space and loungers. There are no lifeguards on duty. You can access the beach/sea at various points around both islands

We had such a great time and will definitely be back, loved the surroundings, the little coves you could lie alone at. Clean and fresh everywhere with plenty of sun loungers all over the island that you were free to use

A true haven of peace. I will return there with pleasure! You can stay there for a few days without problem, there are good restaurants, the sea, swimming pools, the food is quite good

The buffets had a lot to choose from. What the hotel could have tried to come up with is a fixed price for transport to/from the airport as it was expensive, one way trip costs about 120 euros by taxi

There are two small islands that you can walk between, one with the hotel and pools and the other with an additional restaurant. Not only are there gorgeous sea views and swimming on both but peaceful pine woodland

Lift down to the pools and beach which is for people with disabilities and elderly suitable. The location is on the beach but not free sun loungers, which is expected since the beach is public

Room was spacious with large beds, modern, clean; balcony with a sea view. Food was excellent, breakfast, brunch and dinner. Toilets near the pool very convinient and clean

It was also disappointing that both parking and beach loungers had to be paid extra. Most of the staff seemed disinterested, which really contrasted with the beauty of the place

The rooms were basic but what you wanted. The food from the restaurant was brilliant. We never had the same meal twice in a week. Absolutely loved the place and it's location etc

The beach is wonderful, please be aware there are no sandy beaches in Croatia, all pebbles, (But you will know that if you have done your research!) so buy beach shoes before you arrive as the cost is around 10-15 euros in Croatia you will need them!! There are enough sunbeds for all, there is a charge from the hotel, but well worth it if your spending all day on the beach, the hire for 2 sunbeds...

Already booking up for next year it's that good!

I was a bit skeptical after reading some negative reviews but the hotel and staff definitely exceeded our expectations. We got a free upgrade with our room and it was big and had a lovely view of the sea

We went during the off-season so a lot of places were closed but some lovely restaurants and cafes still open. A nice little town to wander around

Fairly new modern hotel on outskirts of Makarska. Good location and views from seaview bedroom and rooftop bar superb

The staff made sure that the dishes were replenished, plates on tables were cleaned away as soon you finished, and plenty of wait staff to take drinks orders. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful

Our room was cleaned everyday (even when we forgot to leave the tag outside on the door) and was provided with a complimentary bottle of water as well. The facilities were clean and not too busy

Overall, a positive experience staying at this hotel. The hotel is located near the old town - a nice 30 minute stroll or a €5- €7 Uber ride

It's a nice hotel with a beautilf beach and an amazing rustic village, although the hotel itself is all white and looks kind of bland.

Extraordinary place! I was there with my family in September, we had a really beautiful vacation. Food is excellent, planty of choice for everyone’s preferences

Rooms were cleaned and nice decorated. Breakfast is delicious with high quality products. Pool is clean with plenty of sun loungers. The whole resort looks exactly like on the photos/websites

The accommodations, the grounds, the staff was exceptional! Tonka was fantastic to work with. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting.

From the Reception Staff to the Bar and Restaurant Staff they have all been amazing with their professionalism, kindness and hospitality and are one of the main reasons we keep returning

Amazing location, rooms were clean and well maintained. They seemed to struggle with customer service and communication prior and during stay but hopefully as it is coming into season the staff just need time to adjust

If you book through Trip or any other broker, the hotel will make sure you are placed in one of the worst rooms in the hotel. The staff are efficient, the rooms are well maintained, and the location unbeatable

However, be prepared for obnoxious crowds of noisy drunks at the pool

We also got stuck in a Soviet-style elevator in the bad part of the hotel and had to endure an interesting ride up and down for several minutes until hotel staff came to rescue us

Nice hotel but only if you can get it around 250 euro per night - any more and it’s probably expensive for what it is but hey it’s Hvar and nothing is cheap The rooms are nice and AC works well The Breakfast is very good and Marko and his team really go above and beyond The location is excellent right on a little beach which is free but chairs need to be rented and a 10 min walk along the boardwalk...

They even went above and beyond by adding an extra bed for our child, which was a pleasant surprise and definitely exceeded our expectations

As non-smokers you are forced to sit or walk through clouds of smoke at the pool or on the terrace outside the lobby

Review of our stay as a couple at Valamar Tamaris hotel mid september 2025. The hotel looks nice and the complex is situated in a beautiful green environment with lots of trees and nice flowers

The hotel has 2 pools: 1 activitypool focusing on children and 1 relaxpool focusing on people who love a more quite surrounding. During the first days of our stay there were many families with small children

There is a breakfast (7-10), lunch (12-14), snack (15-17) and dinner (18. During these moments and in between you can get free drinks in the restaurant, lobby, taverna or poolbar

Unbelievable how impatient people can get when they are "on the hunt" 😉 Room: the room in the resort was ok. It was clean, but could be a little more modern. Lamp-shades and curtains definately needed an upgrade

You can check the beverages-book @ the bar. All drinks with * are included. We never made use of the snacktime, so we don't know what is served at that moment. The breakfast was very complete

Short walk to the beach and pool as well as the big waterpark which was fantastic. Great facilities and plenty of things To do

We stayed here at the end of August and it was fabulous! The hotel is lovely and the rooms are very clean, fresh and modern. Pillows and beds are so comfortable and shower amazing! The pool area was lovely

The kids loved the games room! There are loungers on the beach that you have to pay for. We set up in the shade of the trees, which was absolutely fine. The water is crystal clear! Very beautiful

Always loads of available sun beds and towels available. The kids absolutely loved spending the day in the pool. Breakfast was amazing with something for everyone

We played the mini golf 3 times and the kids loved it. Yes, it’s an additional cost and probably quite a lot but we enjoyed it. We ate out along the strip - Trattoria, Bongos, Tapas - the food was very very good

This hotel is especially good. It costs more than 3,000 yuan a night in peak season, which is perfect for a vacation. There is a large swimming pool and beach right across the street

The hotel amenities and breakfast dining were great. Bedrooms and housekeeping spot on. Lots of activities if you wanted them but discreetly offered. Location good. Pool and beach areas fabulous with plenty of towels.

Among this group of hotels, Eden Hotel is a hotel with a more obvious business nature, not a special resort style; but its advantages are also obvious, that is, the cost performance is very high

The breakfast is particularly good, rich and delicious. It only takes a few minutes to drive to the old town. It is suitable to stay for several nights

The breakfast is a little weak, after all, it feels like a business hotel, but the cost performance is too good, it is worth a 5-star recommendation

The hotel was a short 10 minute walk to the port (although uphill to get to the hotel) and they don't have elevators (warning if you have heavy bags). Nice pool area and great views out over the sea

Able to sit poolside with your drink and towels were readily available. Make sure you have flat heels or wedges ladies - it’s a steep hill walk to town, but that didn’t stop us

Good base for 1 night stay in Hvar, if staying longer looked like it has a nice swimming pool area and bar. Breakfast was well stocked and varied

We came of the ferry so didnt drive up a steep hill would be an issue if you had mobility problems but not a proper for us ,lovely pool and bar plenty of sun loungers and good chilled out music room was sufficient clean with nice bathroom comfortable bed ,also breakfast was plentiful and loads of options ,had dinner once large portions and very tasty enjoyed my time at the pharos hotel would...

Pools not bad either could do with more umbrella to keeps the sun off. Some building work going on at the beach at the moment. This could put some people off

I really enjoyed my stay here, sauna was great and so was the pool, location is truly the best of all

Halls and rooms of the annex smell like cigarette and they try to mask it with an air freshener that only makes it all worse. That being said, a few design/comfort flaws with the main hotel as well

Breakfast buffet was quite extensive and good, don’t miss the rotating bureks (especially the cherry one)

The location is excellent with a good beach no more than five minutes walk (no sand but all good!). The pool was also good and everything seemed very clean

There was a constant loud noise coming from some extractor vent on the roof of the adjacent hotel, i can only hope that is sorted out in the off-season, because it made sitting out on the balcony uncomfortable

Generally the food was ok given the 3-star rating, but things could have been improved by using more heating lights etc on the food serving areas, we found often the food was luke-warm

From the top floor we had a good view though i think that some of the pine trees will need coppicing at some point to avoid the light and view into hotel rooms being overly obstructed

We usually travel as a small family, but other relatives often join us for a few days, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Food is very good with plenty of variety

Overall we thought this was a good hotel for the price. We found the reception staff were very helpful including giving us a kettle (us British!) and helping find a car hire company

Really great area to bade yourself for a stay in Dubrovnik. Babin Kuk is mainly made up of resort hotels, including the Valamar group which meant you could use the loungers on the beach at the nearby President hotel

The poolside restaurant has seats outside and in shade, it’s open and looks very modern, menu is good for lunch and snacks, pizzas are great and also the pasta

They even made us a breakfast box to take away on an early morning start. Indoor pool and sauna were clean and very nice. Checked out the gym but didn’t use it, equipment looked everything you could need

Only shame was that the al la carte poolside restaurant didnt stay open til 9pm as stated meaning one evening we found it difficult to find somewhere to eat

Great food, great location, great pools

A big hotel but with some great facilities such as 3 pools spa and breakfast included. Quiet location with easy 10 minute bus link to the town. Amazing views and lovely weather
