Hotels on first line in Croatia

The location is excellent with a good beach no more than five minutes walk (no sand but all good!). The pool was also good and everything seemed very clean

There was a constant loud noise coming from some extractor vent on the roof of the adjacent hotel, i can only hope that is sorted out in the off-season, because it made sitting out on the balcony uncomfortable

Generally the food was ok given the 3-star rating, but things could have been improved by using more heating lights etc on the food serving areas, we found often the food was luke-warm

From the top floor we had a good view though i think that some of the pine trees will need coppicing at some point to avoid the light and view into hotel rooms being overly obstructed

We usually travel as a small family, but other relatives often join us for a few days, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Food is very good with plenty of variety

Overall we thought this was a good hotel for the price. We found the reception staff were very helpful including giving us a kettle (us British!) and helping find a car hire company

A large hotel complex with 4 swimming pools, located right on the seafront in a beautiful bay. Just a few minutes walk from the city center. This spacious room is well equipped with a minibar and air conditioning

The alternation of hot dishes, salads, unfortunately, is always the same. Stand gravel, rocky in the sea, but very clean, no sea urchins. All in all, highly recommended for a beach holiday

Our rooms on 7th floor like student accommodation. Very few photos show this hotel bedrooms. Most reviews are from foreign guests

Lovely getaway The views are beautiful. And the balconies are spacious but know that your neighbour may be a smoker and the smoke drifts into your room. It is difficult to find umbrellas either at the pool or beach

Lovely hotel with a marvelouse view. Food is good and staff is very helpful. You can enjoy in indoor and outdoor swiming pool. You can take lovely walks by the sea most of the year

Everything was excellent once again. The one thing missing was evening entertainment. Great for families, young and old. You can walk out of your hotel and straight onto the beach

The water park had an entrance fee, though it was half price when we were there, while the indoor pools at a nearby hotel were free to use

The hotel offered shuttle cars for getting around the area, but we also enjoyed walking along the beach promenade

Hotel is right by the beach, and if you get a room up higher you get a great view of the sea

We had a wonderful ocean view room. There is a swimming area right at the hotel and a pool. Beautiful sunsets and walkable promenade with a lot restaurants. Great breakfast buffet.

Hotel was very clean and modern. The beach was beautiful. Everything was amazing.

Quick stop over in between towns. Staff could not have been ftiendlier. We had an apartment facing the ocean. Carparking was available and free. The hotel also has an on site restaurant

The same applies to the sunbeds at the beach. The location is nice, because you can walk along the beach with lots of shade to the town of Tučepi. In the evening in the center is lively busy, but never massive

A really nice hotel overall, definitely recommend! Only thing is they could maybe use more beach chairs, as you had to get out early in the morning to snag one or else pay to rent one

The setting by the beach was incredibly relaxing, and the whole experience left me feeling refreshed and recharged. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality Thai massage

The pool was overcrowded (apparently due to guests from another hotel), and the jacuzzi was out of order. Overall, not worth the price sorry. Friendly staff and good food need to be mentioned too

We had higher expectations given the price (nearly €200 for one night in low season)

The one-week autumn stay in there was amazing, in big part due to the very good and kind hotel staff! We were late with arrival and missed the dinner, because the kid felt sick during the car ride, so the kind personnel sorted out a late dinner for us

Rooms are very nice and clean and the views from the fourth floor are awesome, you can see the little cove below and the island Susak. Lots of very nice walking paths around the hotel

I had a 1-hour full body oiled massage and it was fantastic. Jessica, the therapist, was very professional and skilled

The facilities, such as the beach and swimming pool, were convenient, and it was nice to be able to have breakfast and dinner, and the location was good because you could go to tourist attractions just by taking a bus.

Great staff with delicious food at both the evening and morning buffet! Unfortunately due to the time of our visit (4days before closing for the season) a lot of the bar/dining options were closed and the outdoor pool/hot tub was cold/out of service

Regardless, we booked and arrived and ended up spending fabulous 9 days! Everything was just perfect, room, food, cleanliness, beach, sea and staff

The water is crystal clear, very peaceful place to stay! The rooms and overall everything at the resort is very clean, the beds comfortable, as well as comfortable lying chairs at the pool! The food is also good, delicious and there is something for everyone. The beach is right next to the hotel, sun beds can be booked in advance for 15 euro/set

2 Pools were beautiful and overlooked ocean. The poke bowl lunch cafe on beach Was delicious ! U can even sit on a canal a on ocean on the rocks. We stayed one night in Hvar but then 3 nights at this exquisite hotel

We loved our 3D2N stay at Maslina. " Here’s the real highlight reel: • Top Tier Cocktails: You have to try the Lavender Spritz and the Maslinca. They are super unique and taste like the island in a glass

It is a 35 -40 min drive to Hvar where all the action is, also a 50 euro change. however , from hotel you can walk to Stari Grad a very beautiful and bustling town for dinner, the vibe is not as chaotic

Honestly, it was a bit pricey for us as a young couple, but the atmosphere is so relaxing that we left feeling completely recharged. • Wooden Bikes: Their signature bikes are so cool

Whether relaxing by the pool beach to the spa, we highly recommend

The pools are beautiful and while it was too windy to enjoy while we were there, the loungers set on the rocks overlooking the Adriatic would have been a unique place to catch some sun

Perfect for our stay with a child. Our daughter loved it and logically so did we. The pools are great, there is a big variety of them - although this sunbeds hunt is incredibly annoying

Overall we had a wonderful time at Valamar Bellevue, the restaurant had many food options, it was very busy at times but as a group of 7 we did manage to find seating together

We did eat out one night in Rabac village as we were told that due to it being the end of the season the additional restaurants were closed which we were all disappointed about as it was only September - we assumed that October would of been end of season

I believe its not only this hotel, but everywhere - people blocking their sunbeds and then arriving to them 2 hours later while the rest of us have nowhere to sit staring at the empty sunbeds with towels

The rooms were lovely and spacious and we opted for the sea view which was amazing - I loved waking up to the view in the morning

Two people who definitely should be praised is the older lady around the pool who went round cleaning up and collecting all the glasses in the pool area she works so hard and Valentino at reception who sorted out a taxi for us to go into Pula

There were several beaches to choose from, all stunningly beautiful and clean. Sun loungers were 30 kuna each. There were also 3 swimming pools: one outdoor for children, one outdoor for adults, and one indoor for adults

This hotel itself is very nice but the location is also the star. It sits on an incredible seaside walkway that has incredible beaches and views

The road down to the town and hotel was narrow and winding but well worth it! Great breakfast and beautiful pool areas. We went in October so we missed the crowds which was wonderful

The breakfast quality is average, and the value for money is quite low. However, since it's located near one of Europe's top beaches, focus on the beach and don't expect too much from the hotel

Updated room with great view of the sea. Beachfront property on some of the nicest stretch of beach in Croatia. Close to restaurants, shops, market, bakery, atm, marina, boat rentals and excursions

They have one swimming pool inside and one outside and surprisingly even if it's high season at this time there were probably only 10-15 people at the pool so it was very nice that it wasnt that crowded

Beautiful hotel on the island of KrK. Excellent food both for breakfast and lunch/dinner. Great Appartements with sea view and a medium sized gym. Perfect hotel for a sports holiday or relaxing vacation.

The room was actually very big and spacious with a nice view to the sea

We booked a half board package and we had more than enough food to eat! The food was really good, I wouldn't describe it as outstanding but it was really excellent, especially the pasta dishes! We had a different menu each night and the waiters gave the kids flexibility on what they ate as a 5 course menu each night was quite a task! No questions, just made it happen! We asked for local wine selections...

We have recently stayed in this hotel in Malinska. The receptionist was very kind and professional, we added one more (3rd person) in the room without any problem (because we haven't booked for 3)

Brand new Hotel, clean and staff very helpful and courteous, especially the manager in the reception. Unfortunately, we were only one night because of passage, but we would have been much more

Plus pool bottom and sides are all in white color, making it impossible to determine pool edges if you're swimming with open eyes or diving. We didnt't have time to go to wellness or gym, so no idea if that's good or not

Pools outside are clean and very comfortable, also they give you clean towels every time you go there take a bath

Pool is mediocre, for some basic dipping and swimming it's ok, but if you want a lane to swim in, forget it

The spa is quite small, also the rooms are not so big and the style is quite old. Food is nice and very efficient service

It's a big hotel and things run smoothly. However, for the price we paid, we expected a bit better room (one light wasn't working) and at least free parking. Restaurant was great with variety of food and soft drinks

Hotel staff should have known better and place family with small children away from little noisy footballers, after all they asked children age during booking procedure

A very nice and fresh hotel with friendly staff. The location was great overlooking the ocean, an my room was nice and spacious, bed was great and it all looked newly renovated. The breakfast room was nice and food great

Also the inside pool was amazing, and I was there completely alone, having the place to my self. Was my first time there but will definitely be back next time I am in the area

The new renovated hotel is really nice. We booked a deluxe hotel room, we haven’t got terrace. The hotel haven’t got own beach, you should pay for the sunbeds (15 euro) and the towels too (10 euro).

A place to go in Makarska Riviera Excellent value for money out-of-season. Probably the best location in Croatia, on Makarska Riviera, but less crowded than Makarska itself

It’s correct that the hotel is of a slightly older style, but it is perfectly maintained and has an excellent Spa and pool complex

My wife has a number of food allergies and can’t eat dairy and the Restaurant Manager was amazing and specially sourced Goats Cheese and Kefia just for her! We’ve been fortunate enough to have had over 50 years of travelling all around the world, staying in some wonderful five star hotels but never had that before anywhere

You can use sunbeds on the beach for free but they are a bit further away from the sea. It looks as if whatever can be sold in Croatia will be sold as you can't enjoy a view without paying for it

We had a very nice stay at Maslinica. We already plan our next visit😃 our first trip to Croatia but not the last one.

They are tiny and they don't have a balcony or a terrace so the experience of having such a room is not great. I spoke to two people who upgraded to better rooms with the balcony/terrace and a sea view

You cannot have your coffee in the morning there either as the only way to use is to buy something from very overpriced bar. When you arrive at the hotel there is no warm welcome or any welcome at al unfortunately

All these upselling of things which is a part of the hotel experience in the majority of other countries is irritating to say the least. On the first night at the hotel people were not allowed to use a terrace

Croatia is a mesmirisingly beautiful country and it is really nice to visit it and enjoy its beauty. The hotel is situated in a small place called Rabac and overall I had a wonderful time there

It is a private house in the forest, so it is great for a vacation. The sea water 100m away is also very clean, so it is good for snorkeling

Kolovare Hotel is located on Kolovare Beach and has an outdoor swimming pool

Knowing Croatia well, we were prepared for having to climb down a ladder into the crystal-clear sea (there is also a very small pebbly bay but you’d need swim shoes to go into the water there)
