Hotels on first line in Croatia

Stayed in 2022 with our 1 and a half yr old! The 1st room was across from the main hotel! It was ok, but not big enough for 3!! We then moved to another room facing the sea! Lovely room very well presented and furnished! This was excellent room for the money! I’d be really annoyed if we stayed in the first room for the entire time for the cost of the room! It has a family pool out the back! Nothing...

Checkin was a little long but rewarded with bubbly champagne! Got upgraded to loft with jacuzzi. Hotel with a view of the sea and very nice complete facility. 2 pools available but main pool always packed

Main building is Lovely. Overall decoration done in style. Main Swimming pool cleanliness can be improved. Some debris and leaves at bottom. Breakfast Egg Benedict done to perfection, a must have.

Just 20 minutes walk from the old town , probably the best choice if you want to enjoy a nice pool and good spa as well

I had a great relaxed vacation, just what I needed. i came alone to run away from everyday life and i had a nice clean room view jacuzzi, great service. Airport is close and taxi cost 90kn. Be carful not to pay much more

I stayed for my 30th Birthday with my partner and had a fantastic time! The staff are super friendly and hospitable! Prime location and excellent facilities! I will definitely be back!

Didn’t like the first room that had no windows or convenient bench in room, so we switched & staff was helpful. Great area near restaurants, bar, waterbus, boardwalk

Had a minor miscommunication with the host prior to arrival. Otherwise everything was great. Convenient location. Room was great.

The same key works for the front door so am concerner that key coulr be used in any door which is a security concern

This property was beautiful, and the location was ideal. It was beautifully decorated, it was comfortable, and it met all our needs. The parking is a bit tricky, so be careful where you park

Hotel is beautiful with great ambiance. Conveniently located and top room has a fantastic terrace. Only complaint is that they didn’t service the rooms very often.

Fab room in the Old Town Perfect little respite for adventuring around Zadar, or out to the Plitvice Lakes. This room was my little space of heaven with a massive bed and a hot shower

I also recommend dinner here - especially seafood ones :) with glass of Prosecco

We had a room with a sea view (highly recommended) and a nice balcony

Brulo Beach is close by, with sun umbrellas and two sunbeds available for less than 20 euros for the whole day

The service and food was wonderful. We returned their time to this hotel. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Staff is very helpful and kind. Great food selection for kids too

Food was very delicious and had a wide choice on buffet. The buffet is nice decorated und all of the services are extremely friendly. The rooms are always clean and offer a cozy atmosphere

Food choices are really great, there is lots of variety, clean pool and all around premises. The rooms and bathrooms could do with a bit of modernisation

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Very central location and parking wasn’t far away and not expensive. Only downside was our room was a little small and don’t have tea/coffee making facilities

We kept extending our stay in order to have a massage, but as we enquired each day they were full. We're coming back here again for sure. Also the restaurant next door had amazing food and service

Beautiful Croatia, the ocean you will never forget. The hotel is in a great location, right in the center with very convenient transportation, and there are many local delicacies to try around.

Service was very friendly and competent. Our room was facing the sea, so we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and the large balcony. All very clean and well maintained. The highlight was the 25m salt water pool

The new wing adds a third swimming pool which is indoor and outdoor. The main language used in the hotel is German

We did the walking tour of Crikvenica and learned much from our knowledgeable guide. The food was great, dinner as well as the plentiful breakfast buffet. I particularly enjoyed all the fish variations in the evening

Return visit My fifth stay at this hotel and it is a very enjoyable experience. Although the food is in buffet form the standard is very high. The outside dining terrace has splendid views

This will be an up and coming hotel! Please note that Amphoras GARDEN (5 stars) is situated behind the Amphora so the sea view from most rooms are limited. However, very nice Roof top pool area

This hotel is just perfect for a relaxing stay. It is located in front of the sea and beaches in this area are beautiful. The swimming pools and spa with panoramic view to the sea are unique

Our stay at Amphora Garden was great, we enjoyed the hotel and its facilities. In a few months this area will be booming. Currently the beach walk is under construction, and there are not many bars and restaurants around

Great hotel in a great location. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant with the exception of the pool attendant on the top floor who was quite rude.

Our only negative would be the rooftop pool staff who rolled their eyes and sighed when we politely asked to have an umbrella put up. Other than that all other hotel staff were approachable and kind!

Beach for swimming is a minutes walk and behind the hotel are some great walks with paths to Nugal beach. The seafront is on your doorstep and only a 5 minute walk to the old town

Great location and great seaview. We had a room on 4/F with a small balcony and I sat there to enjoy the view for hours. We parked our rental car right in front of the hotel which cost EUR 11 for a night

Beautiful hotel with marvelous view. Our orig sister hotel closed for the season so they upgraded us to their other hotel. The view from the room, the rest and the rooftop bar were all wonderful.

Wear and tear on walls are as expected for end of season visit and hopefully be refreshed for next season. Breakfast was included and outstanding. Linens and bedding were to notch

This elegant little hotel is right on the water. When we walked off the ferry, a hotel rep was there with a cart to cart all of our luggage inside. The rooms are small, but they’re very comfortable and nicely outfitted

Area immediately outside hotel is a giant bar/relaxing area full of couches and comfy chairs. Great for reading a book and a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Lots of dinner options nearby

This is an excellent place to stay in Hvar. You are 2-3 minutes from the ferry terminal yet you not really know. Super comfy bed, nice big bathroom, small fridge in room

We have been one week in the Hotel in July 2020. The location of the hotel is very good. The view to the see is fantastic. Snezana in the restaurant was always smiling and singing serving the guest

The rooms are clean. Food was good. Im happy that I can visit the Podgora small city in Croatia. The hotel was build in 60s so small renovation will be nice. The employees was nice.

Set in a hidden bay on the north coast of Brac, this hotel is beautifully renovated and retains some stunning original features. Staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the pool area is a real treat

Beautiful hotel in a quiet village on Brac. Excellent location for exploring the rest of the island by public transport, bus stop being only a 3 minute walk away

The hotel is very peaceful, and the staff extremely helpful and attentive. The bed is large and very comfortable, and the separate seating area in the deluxe room is very welcome

The other issue - again very subjective - is the music which is pumped put of speakers all over the gardens and the swimming pool area

Breakfast choice is superb, and the restaurant is of a very high standard. Totally recommend staying here!

When we planned a full day away at the beach we requested 4 towels from reception staff so that we could have clean towels after sunbathing to shower with before going for a meal

The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool and Jacuzzi was a plus. The room had a balcony with a drying rack that was convenient for hanging bathing suits and washing some clothes

Staff are extremely friendly. Rooms are smart and clean. Rooftop pool is great. Breakfast is simple but tasty. Prices are low. Cannot recommend highly enough.

In addition, the rooftop swimming pool has not yet opened, and the view from outside is average, and you probably can't see the old city

Villas very tidy, comfort and spacious. Food and service is amazing. My child loved the pool, especially small one. Ice cream one of the best I ever tried.

If we were to stay again we would make sure it wasn't right at end of the season. Our airport pickup with jet2 wasn't for several hours after we needed to leave

Particular highlights were the pool and slides, outdoor cinema, kids disco and facilities in the fantastic Maro club. We could not fault any part of this holiday and would highly recommend Valamar Amicor

The only downfall to our stay was our last day fell on the day the resort was closing for the season. This added to what felt like a rushed and pushy checkout

All in all, our staying was a lovely one. The place is definitely designed for family w kids. If you are looking for an option to disconnect and allow your children to have an active water time, I recommend the place

On January 1st, the hotel organized a boat ride for all interested guests. The boat was parked right in front of the hotel, and the captain took us on a tour of the beautiful surroundings

In our search for an attractive location to celebrate New Year’s, my wife discovered Hotel Korkyra. The hotel offered a three-night package, including New Year's Eve, for €704. We booked it and didn't regret our decision

The hotel is beautiful, cozy, clean, the staff is very friendly, always smiling and cheerful. The children are delighted, the pool is beautiful, the breakfast has a wide selection

While there are roll-down screens for privacy, who wouldn’t want to enjoy the unique experience of watching my wife take a shower every evening? The package we purchased included breakfast and dinner, along with a New Year’s celebration that featured live music

There are I believe 4 sea view rooms with sun canopy’s but only two work. There seems to be no provision in this hotel to get anything fixed that isn’t working

Great property in the centre of the Marina, book oarking in advance or ask for directions pre arrivung in busy months but relatively easy. Perfect location for all of the town and a greatvplace to visit.

Our stay at Hotel Podstine in early October was absolutely delightful! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room, which offered stunning vistas of the Adriatic that made our stay even more special

We also booked two massages while we were there, and they were one of the highlights for sure. They had 1 massage therapist, so we could only do one person at a time but that was fine

Our stay at this hotel during our honeymoon was a great experience! When we arrived to our room, we were greeted with these lovely towel swans which was a nice surprise

Coffee from coffee machine was terrible, probably instant coffee used? When asking for pool towels be ready to pay 5€ a day per towel, never before had that happened

The location of the beach and the countryside is very good. It does not have much content other then few coffe shops and the only way to go to Cirkvenica is by taxi or tourist train

The place has great potential for something more. A lot of old bungalows need to be renovated and the restaurant facilities could be better. Overall a bit pricey for the value but the location makes up for it

I had a better experience at Omisalj Hotel Adriatic( 3 stars) for less price. And yea almost forget, you can feel and experiance the past, how was here during the 1970 or 1980, how the Yugoslavian workers had holiday

Very humble “low cost” accommodation, only one power outlet on the room, only one light worked, shower was stinky, no AC, room service after 4 days, no towel changing or anything

Over all, it's good, but that's all about it-over-priced for what you get. Bugalows and restaurant need renovation. The service was good, with polite and hard-working staff

Comfortable room and bed although no elevator meant about 40 stairs up to the 2nd floor (3rd floor if you count the main level as 1st floor) staff were all wonderful. Swam in the clean sea but loved the huge pool

We were delighted to find this property on short notice. Location is perfect for walking, beach access, and restaurants. The grounds have a naturally peaceful ambiance
