Literally everything about our 7 night stay was 5 star. Location location location too! We could walk to beautiful beaches and Lapad for entertainment. The room was beautiful and very comfortable
Great place to stay and food was excellent both for breakfast, lunch and dinner along with excellent service.
Highly recommend this hotel and hope to be back in the not too distant future.
Breakfast was fantastic with a bunch of restaurants to choose from for dinner. The only downside would be not all the pools are heated and so taking a dip can get chilly when the weather turns
It's a little far from the old town, so you'll need to take the bus or Uber. It takes about 15 minutes and costs about 9 euros.
The room is very big, even bigger than it looks in the pictures, very clean and tidy, and has a large balcony. The hotel has several swimming pools, the scenery is very beautiful, and you can see the sea directly
The rooms are spacious, there are several pools and a rocky beach, and the breakfast was rich and varied. The hotel’s restaurants offer a fairly diverse selection
Facilities are spacious and despite it being height of the season we always had a space to ourselves. Beach towels were ample, and there were a range of sports activities to do
Nice stay!
The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and we appreciated the free upgrade! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great - just a quick drive to Stari Grad
I liked that the food and wine was local, but would have liked to see more local dishes included. The room was not quite as nice or luxurious as it looked in the photos, but overall it was a lovely stay!
We hired kayaks and bikes from cabin which served hotels and staff there were really helpful advising on areas to visit. Went into town for dinner which was lovely and convenient walking distance from the hotel
We stayed here for 10 nights as a family of 3 which was lovely. Although our little one was too young to be left at the children's club, the service they offered was amazing
The Maro Club is such a great idea for the younger part of the resort. The villas are really tidy and clean and room service is excelent. I ordered two cappucinos and they came in really fast
Loved our stay here. All staff were helpful and pleasant. Loved the pool area and coffee at the beach. Promenade was uncrowded and I walked 90 minutes. Rooms very comfortable
The indoor wellness centre is well designed within the limited space with an indoor pool, hot tub, hot and steam sauna. We felt so relaxed after using the spa amenities
The hotel has an outdoor pool overlooking the ocean, an extensive lounge area and restaurant. A great place to watch the sunset
Only downsides were the area by the pool was small so you had to be up at the crack of dawn to get a sunbed at the side with shade cover and the gym onsite was tiny so, if more than 3 people, it’s a struggle to use any of the equipment
The view from the balcony was the most beautiful I've ever seen, it was completely unobstructed and went on forever in every direction. Both pools and hot tubs were clean and blue, utterly gorgeous
The staff were all excellent from the reception front desk, wellness centre to restaurant servers and kitchen staff. Special thanks to Stipe and Jelena for welcoming us. My husband and I would definitely return
Compact hotel building, but big enough room. Access to the roof from the room as a bonus.
Strange shower without a head holder.
Staff were kind and helpful when needed. Having a breakfast option was a nice way to start the day.
It is a small hotel but it’s lovely. Very central with great staff who were very helpful. We left our luggage whilst we explored like lots of other people! The breakfast was very good with lots of choices
The bed was very comfortable, the room cool and quiet. Taxis too and from airport were very expensive, I think we were ripped off! Catch bus instead if you can!
I was also able to upgrade to a room with a bathtub for one of my three nights (for an additional fee), but unfortunately the bathtub didn't hold enough hot water, so I wasn't able to enjoy a long soak
The staff were all very friendly, and although there was no electric kettle in the room, they were able to lend me one

We especially loved the pool area, it was never crowded, which made it so peaceful and relaxing, and perfect for little one too as she felt safe swimming and playing without a bunch of bigger kids taking over
Hotel is next to great restaurants and all of the tourist attractions. Hotel has own parking lot just on the northern end of the old city... Just 10 minutes walk away.
I was looking for hotel that is walking distance from everything I needed, And found perfect one! From reception to kitchen staff and director were amazing! Helpful, flexible and made my trip and stay comfortable and smooth
We have been going to this hotel for the third year in row, because we are very satisfied with its services. The location is great: hotel is situated in the “heart” of Old town and has a beautiful sea view
Behind a hotel you can explore the street of the old town, and near the hotel is a beautiful park with a lot of trees. City beach is 10 minutes walk from the hotel
Clean and very nice personality, close to city centre. You get a discount coupon for a restaurant near the hotel(15sec walk)it's valid the whole stay.
The bathroom was spotless and the heated towel rail was much appreciated. If you are so inclined, the mini bar is stocked and there is also excellent room service. The buffet breakfast is sensational- the best in Zagreb
I only now stay at this hotel when I am in Zagreb. From the moment you walk through the main doors and into the reception area, you are warmly acknowledged and greeted. You are a valued guest and are treated like one
Check in process is smooth and seamless. The room is well-appointed and given the time of the year, cosy and warm. The bed wa super comfortable and the pillows offered enough support to ensure a good nights' sleep
Something for everyone and for all dietary requirements. The one thing that always impresses me here is the fact that all employees and acknowledge their guests- from the room attendants to the kitchen staff
The view was really bad ( a wall !!). Other than that everything was nice. Amenities are good. The location is perfect ! I recommend it but make sure you don’t get the same room I got 😅
It’s in a great location, 5 mins walk to the tram stop and train station, also within walking distance of some tourist attractions. The room was a good size and was cleaned daily
The beach is probably the highlight of this hotel, as the water is crystal clear and you have a feeling like youre in heaven. The depth of the water is around 5-6 meters and you can see all the way down
There is a part of the beach for families that is much shallower, and there are other parts which are secluded and very private, while i was here i only saw 3-4 people at most on those ‘hidden’, more secluded parts
Firstly the price of the hotel is unmatched, i dont believe there is a cheaper alternative on Hvar that offers both a breakfast, dinner and a private beach
The breakfast and dinner are buffet style and the food is amazing, various types of salads, fruits, vegatables, meats, pastries, sweets and ice cream
Second, the hotel is older but all of the rooms are clean and well maintained, every room has a seaview, a tv and an air conditioner
The staff and service are also amazing, with everyone being very friendly and helpful, i have not had a single bad experience with the staff, and they were all very kind

It was an incredible expirience, the hotel is near the beach and you have access to the pools as well
parking is slightly complicated, we could park approx 200m away in the hotel’s parking lot, but in the end it wasn’t a big setback. Staff was always kind and smiling, room cleaned every day, towels changed as well
Thanks to everyone who works at the hotel: the girls at the reception helped us with all the questions, thanks for the food, for us it was excellent, and also thanks for the cleanliness of the rooms
We had a great time, food was excellent, especially dinner-would come back any time because of this. The location is really good, close to beach and shops, marina, restaurants
We stayed at the hotel for three days in June, but managed to enjoy the incredible view of the sea from the room and also just relax
The dinner and breakfast was good and the view was great. Very walkable to many different spots to jump in the ocean.
Hotel staff is wonderful. I was not able to use the stay because of health condition.
They gave us a great big room with a real sea view and a jacuzzi tub.
The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very good overall for the price. Bus stop just outside the hotel, taking roughly 30 mins to Split Old Town
Very nice hotel and great location. When you look from the room you just see great blue see and Split on right hand side. They have a beach just in front of a hotel and they have a restaurant at the beach
It will be wonderful if all the rooms have not carpet.
There is no any option just the eggs and cheese and I don’t eat that because I’m diabetic type one I requested at least smoked salmon and some Roca salads or some other options healthy options on the day
Villa Dubrovnik is an absolutely magnificent property. They pay attention to every detail and the service is impeccable. From the arrival to the check out, everything was done with the utmost care
The restaurant here had the best food i had the entire trip. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. The fews were also so gorgeous from the room and from the restaurant. It’s also an easy little walk to the old town
Superb. From arrival to departure 5*. Rooms with a stunning view, excellent food and spotless. Would go back.
Breakfast offers variety of options, even for people with allergies. The bar also offers a delicious menu of fresh food with casual setting. Bar tenders are customer friendly serve a wide variety of drinks and wine
The beautifully renovated Villa Dubrovnik is a place that seeps into your soul. The staff are so friendly and you will feel like the most important guest. The views are incredible and the rooms are perfection!
I could not recommend Villa Dubrovnik higher. The grounds are immaculate, the views are spectacular, and the rooms are beautiful. Most importantly, it is the service that is exceptional.
The hotel rooms don’t look like they’ve been updated in a bit, but only minor things like scuffed paint and some fickle electrical switches were troublesome. The main lounge and bar look fairly recently redone though
Stayed here last May and will be there again this May. Delicious breakfasts with eggs to your liking, we’d recommend the omelettes
Lunch and dinner options were equally delicious, we tried everything on the menu over the week, my personal favourite was the Caesar salad
They don’t accept direct tips but you can pop your tips in a large wooden box in the kitchen area either daily or at the end of your stay. Even the cleaning staff don’t take money you leave out for them in the room
The meals are generous and my husband said later in the week, that he’s forgotten what it feels like to be hungry! 😆
The pool is very cold, so be prepared. It’s a shame it can’t be heated
Katarina very generously gave us a room upgrade last time , so we’ve booked a room with balcony and sea view this time. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean with daily refreshes
Hotel is close to the beach. Great view over the sea, super swimming pool with normal water.
We have been one week in the Hotel in July 2020. The location of the hotel is very good. The view to the see is fantastic. Snezana in the restaurant was always smiling and singing serving the guest
Special thanks to Borna at the reception too who was always very helpfull. If you travel there, please care a poor cat family. They are living by the entry of the hotel
The mother and two black kids and a red one are dying in the hot weather from thirtsty and hungry
The rooms are clean. Food was good. Im happy that I can visit the Podgora small city in Croatia. The hotel was build in 60s so small renovation will be nice. The employees was nice.
Enjoyed the breakfast, the dinner & the staff was very friendly.
On the positive side, I would highlight the very good location of the hotel, as well as the fact that the staff did their job well and cleanliness was adequate. Unfortunately, we also faced several inconveniences
Desserts were only brought upon request (the “lemonade” and water were just decorated with fruit, the coffee didn’t taste like coffee, and one of the chocolate cakes was actually spicy)
The chef’s performance deserves only 2/5 stars. Honestly, it’s only worth booking breakfast here!! Really! In addition, the lack of hot water while showering was very unpleasant
Had to carry luggage up 2 flights of stairs which was very hard going. All in all nice hotel though with friendly atmosphere for families
Overall, the location and cleanliness of the hotel were fine, but the level of service still leaves much to be desired
The hotel is maximum 3 stars! We spent 5 nights at the hotel, and our experience was mixed
The buffet breakfast was lovely with quite extended offer of both retro choices such as fried hot dogs and savory French toast to more 'current' choices such as different kinds of oatmeal, fruit and yoghurt
The location is good - away from all the chaos of Split. The staff is one of the friendliest I have encountered down the coast. The rooms are simple, yet clean and offer AC
Overall, would come back again for sure. Haven't checked the beaches or other things the hotel had to offer
Quick check in, friendly staff speaking perfect English also as the other languages. Generous hot and continental breakfast. Air conditioning worked well and without any noise
Fair priced hotel with the vibes and decoration from the 70’s. The town center was at a down the hill walking distance. We took a taxi back, because walking up to the hotel would be very difficult.
The only time I stayed in the hotel it was for 2 nights but those were superb. Personally, I love the old Yugo chic and if the hotel would've been renovated, it would be a true gem and much more expensive
Excellent hotel , very good staff ,great food and drink. Very comfortably rooms with fresh towels every day. Nice pool and spa and very good cocktails
Additionally, there were no toilets near the pool area or the dining/reception area; the only available toilets were inside the rooms, which was very inconvenient. The food was acceptable, but far from impressive
I have just had one of the best facials at the wellness spa in the Malin. I felt very well looked after by E n I s a. Thank you for looking after me so well. I would also recommend having a massage
Love this hotel, great location. I like the most animator Nika. She is great with kids and very dear and friendly. Every day is happy and in a good mood
Would stay again in this area as plenty to see and a visit to the falls is a must. , a long walk involved but worth it
My kid love her and how she is doong and she makes a greatest body paints
Neat, in a great location. Large selection of food, something for everyone, and good quality food.
A wonderful location close to the lagoon. A lot if choices for dinnen and breakfast.
only place in Zelena Laguna opening @ 7am, outside bar patio is positioned very well, but unfortunately fool of mosquitoes. otherwise hotel is nice and has a friendly staff mostly
A refrigerator and safe were missing and would have been appreciated. Nevertheless, a nice view from the room (photo)
The sea was within easy reach, and the location was great
For the rest great hotel, room not big but with a view and the shower is a bit cramped
Breakfast and dinner were very good and had a wide selection. Staff and service were quite acceptable and friendly
The only thing we lack were clean linen in our 2 night stay, other than that excellent service.
We stayed for 4 nights and had planned on going to some of the local restaurants, but never made it. The poolside and under the olive trees were lovely spots to chill out
The entire experience from start to finish was exceptional. Customer service was 5 star for sure. The restaurant was outregeously good. Definitely the best restaurant in Croatia. Congrats to all the staff at Vila Rova
It will be hard to praise the staff of this little jewel of a hotel enough. They were superb - friendly, accommodating, always ready to help. The rooms were beautifully appointed and impeccably clean
The restaurant of very high quality. The Chef’s menu in the evening is highly recommended. The beach bar and grill was excellent
Extremely high service level among all staff.
Attitude, approach and friendlyness was highly appreciated.
We got also bathrobes/coats as they have pools and SPA, which we did not try, however slippers were not there, I Got only one, my wife none? The restaurant is Nice and breakfast excellent, however we have had bad experience as for two days there was also a group od around 150 Austrian turists - the hotel capacities and staff is not capable to well equiped to handle this
During our five-night stay, the bathroom and room were never properly cleaned or vacuumed – housekeeping only emptied the bins, changed towels, and made the beds. That seemed a bit unusual for a four-star hotel
In the evenings you May problems with sleeping, as these gropus bring also musicians and there can be quite noisy nights until 1 or 2 am, rather unpleasant if you are not fan of folklore music (Avsenik or similar) Check before you go there!
Technically, children over four can be left there unattended, but in reality, the animators don’t watch over them and don’t even know who is inside – which makes it quite unsafe, like leaving a child alone on a public playground
As a result, parents end up sitting in the bar next to the playroom while their kids are inside. One day, my daughter fell and hit her head, and the animators didn’t even notice – they just kept sitting at the table
The only downside is the water and juice machine at breakfast, which is extremely slow and causes lines. At the very least, they could provide jugs of water on the side so we don’t have to wait just for water
Rooms and cleaniness is ok, but the location is unique. Fantastic staff, special thanks to maitre Mr. Rado, chef Mr. Sasha and sous chef that I don't recall the name. they made the experience really unique.
We spent two unforgettable weeks at Hotel Katarina, and it truly deserves 5 out of 5 stars. The staff are the heart of this place — genuinely kind, happy, and always ready to help, yet never intrusive
They went above and beyond in every way. Even with the many dinner options, they happily prepared freshly cooked vegetables just the way we wanted. Every interaction felt personal and sincere
The food is another highlight — a huge variety for both breakfast and dinner, and everything we tried (which was almost everything after two weeks!) was delicious and fresh
We had an absolutely wonderful vacation. Everything exceeded our expectations – from the beautiful location to the excellent service. Every detail was taken care of, making our stay truly relaxing and enjoyable
The island itself is a dream: peaceful and car-free, perfect for relaxing walks and quiet evenings. The short boat ride to the city makes it easy to explore when you want more activity

Just like our first visit, Josip and Davor went above and beyond in every possible way. They greeted us like old friends, remembered details from our last stay, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish
We were some of the last guests staying prior to the Hotel closing for low season and I really felt the staff were more upset to be leaving than we were, at least they know they're going back in 2026! Cavtat was a beautiful location to stay in after a few days in an Old Town AirB&B, I'd imagine especially in high season and the crowds
We stayed at this incredible hotel once before and knew we wanted to come back. Right away we were reminded why we fell in love with this place. The hotel is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated
We also got a chance to take a tour of the surrounding Konavle Valley arranged by the wonderful Dubrovska, the vinyard tours we took were a particular highlight along with the lunch at Konavoski Divori
Their genuine passion for hospitality is reflected in every interaction. The team shares that same dedication. We were always greeted so kindly and anything we needed they were willing to help
I'd like to see what high season and not October is like but couldn't take the heat! We had breakfast each morning either on the terrace or inside with the selection of continental, pastries and cooked options all excellent
