His warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail made us feel personally cared for from the very first moment. This level of hospitality is rare and unforgettable. Breakfast was outstanding and deserves special mention
Everything was made on request, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Freshly squeezed juices, excellent coffee, and truly amazing bread completed the experience — one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had
What truly sets this hotel apart is the service — especially the front-of-house reception. The gentleman at reception was exceptional: genuinely welcoming, highly professional, attentive, and truly one of a kind
The room was beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and very comfortable, combining modern amenities with a refined, classic atmosphere. After a full day of exploring, it was the perfect place to relax
While there is a generous buffet with high-quality options, what makes it exceptional is that it also includes à la carte dishes prepared fresh to order, all included
Overall, Hotel Bastion exceeded expectations in every way. An outstanding location, elegant comfort, exceptional service, and a breakfast experience that truly stands out
Nice hotel at the beachfront and lovely greenery around it. The premium rooms are nice and big, with good beds and clean bathroom. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious and various
(I trawed in 2023) i was at the top flor and couse of kichen the ac was laud in a midle of the night even if was shut down. Hotel is nice the rooms are cosy.... Recomwnd but not top flor
The view from the hotel is absolutely incredible. Whether you’re relaxing on the terrace or enjoying a drink at the café, the sea scenery is just breathtaking. It really adds something special to the whole experience
The rooms were modern, spotless, and extremely comfortable, exceeding all expectations. What truly made my experience exceptional was the staff — incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile
Every detail was taken care of with genuine care and professionalism. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a flawless stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!
The indoor swimming pool was nice, but quite crowded during spring break, the indoor air temperature was 40
Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The view was beautiful from the balcony! I really enjoyed everything about my stay including the spa services. I would definitely stay here again!
Almost quiet, accept weekend when is party in downstairs bar. Wi-Fi is sometimes weak, but working. Beach is about 25 stairs down. Also small swimming pool on the beach- very comfortable if sea is cold
Adriatic Riviera
Nice and cool old style hotel in Opatija.
If you like the Riviera feeling, you get full value.
That is perhaps 50 to 100 yards away from the hotel if you go to the hotel first with your bags then you have to take a long route back to the garage because the road by the hotel is one way but really a very nice place to stay
Unexpected Town
Great find, so well located on the beach with all amenities
Great ocean view
Exceptional service, very friendly and helpfull staff who went above and beond High standard of cleanliness throughout, room was very comfortable and well presented Excellent location, beach view and within walking distance to nice restaurants and bars
Very nice hotel. Very modern and clean with a big breakfast selection. The room was big and clean and the staff were great. Easy to get into the centre of town and simple to get to and from the airport too
The hotel was exceptional in class and service. The room was huge and well renovated. It is in a quiet area and 20 mins walk to town centre. The tram stop is just outside the hotel
The walk to city center is 30ish minutes and enjoyable on a sunny day. The parking situation is not perfect - it is paid extra and the card sometimes doesn't work
The Wi-Fi is really fast, and breakfast is included in the booking at no additional cost, with a nice selection of options. I highly recommend the eggs with tomato sauce—they were delicious
The breakfast staff were very efficient and friendly. The room was also spacious and comfortable. Its located behind the main station about 10 mins walk or take tram 13 to get to hotel
Everything is perfect — from the rooms and service to the cuisine and the wonderful staff, who truly go above and beyond to make every moment more pleasant for their guests
First of all, many thanks to the fantastic staff. Everyone was very attentive and pampered us. The food was also delicious at all times. The desserts, in particular, were outstanding
The location just outside Dubrovnik on this small island is phenomenal. Anyone looking for peace and quiet and wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik will find this the perfect place
Whilst we understand they can’t control the weather we might not have got on the first one if we’d been told they don’t run is iffy weather. The hotel itself is exactly what you’d expect from an All-Inclusive hotel
Perfect stay, the spa is amazing and the massage with Ivana and Natasha was so good that we booked a second one straight after ! Big thanks to them !
It perhaps needs to be more specific about how little there is to do on Kolocep itself. There’s only 1 other hotel on the opposite side of the island. I bar/cafe & 1 restaurant which is linked to the hotel
The central facilities ( restaurant , lounge, bar, entertainment area ) are on two levels and nestle into the bay whilst the bedroom accommodation is in groups of villas that blend well into the surrounding houses, that face into the beautiful horseshoe bay
There wasn't a pool but this didn't matter as the sea was actually on the front door and they provided free sun loungers and beach towels as well
Thank you to all previous review writers who helped us choose Villa Andrea for our first visit to Croatia. The ladies at reception are the stars, they made our holiday and looked after us completely
I have to mention the lovely ladies at reception who seemed to know instinctively what we would need throughout the holiday and always greeted us with a smile. Thank you for a wonderful summer break!
We enjoyed a good breakfast in the morning and there is a great choice of restaurants for evening meals, within easy walking distance. Kamena and Mala Barka were our personal favourites
The stars of the show are the front of house, Biljana and Mirella (apologies if name is misspelt), nothing was too much trouble for them. Including offering their personal phone chargers when mine stopped working
Lovely little french balcony that we could put chairs half way onto and sit and enjoy the sunset. The room was a great size, cleaned every day, plenty of storage
Every meal was enjoyable and well prepared. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend Hotel Lero to anyone visiting Dubrovnik who is looking for comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding service
Hotel was fine. Not the best location for Old Town but they readily call taxis. The pool area was nice but the pool was freezing on an 85 degree day. Rooms were nice...view was nothing special
I had a wonderful2 nights stay at Hotel Lero in Dubrovnik. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and you can immediately notice how well everything is maintained
And now the most beautiful part of our stay: we came to Dubrovnik for a short birthday trip, and the hotel surprised us with a birthday card and a cake waiting in our room when we returned from a walk
Room was good and the shower pressure was great. Dog friendly rooms at additional 15 euros but do note that no dogs allowed in the dining hall if you do opt for half board or just breakfast
The staff are excellent—very friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything you need. The breakfast and dinner were superb, with a great variety of fresh and delicious food
Just a few minuses to mention: free hotel parking lot but sometimes too full and hotel guests allowed to smoke just next to the children's pool. Anyway, we would be happy to return back again
Great location, clean, good food, of course it's not 4. 5 stars but you can always find something you like. Very small and cramped, no space for suitcases, wardrobe or shelves for things. There is no bedside table either
The desserts were always the same. A bar by the pool in the building where the reception is
This is the first time I have come across a hotel where there are no watermelons, melons or enough fruit for breakfast in season. We also never saw pancakes or fritters during our entire vacation
Towels are changed daily, staff is really nice, children activities are awesome and this is great choice if you want your insanely active toddler and children to spend great holiday and not bore themselves to death
The size of the rooms for three depends on the building, somewhere the bathroom and balcony are a little bigger, but overall it is very cramped and uncomfortable for three
Bathroom:
The bathroom was in good condition, with a bathtub, towels, and hotel toiletries provided. There was one day when hot water was temporarily unavailable, likely due to a storm, but the issue was resolved quickly
There is also an option to decline housekeeping, but the staff are happy to replace wet towels, which is helpful given the humid conditions. The air conditioning worked perfectly
Housekeeping varied from day to day – on one occasion, the staff only replaced towels without making the bed, while another day the room was cleaned more thoroughly
Very friendly, helpful receptionist Jelena! Helpful staff in restourant. Possibility to use hotel territory after check out. Sockets in the room - just 2 and in not comfy places. Hitel is a little bit outdated
Restaurant:
This is the area that could use the most improvement. There were often missing utensils, and sometimes the plates were not properly cleaned, with dried food residues
Breakfasts were rather repetitive – scrambled eggs, oatmeal, pancakes, and sausages – and some items appeared to be reheated from the previous day, which made them dry

The staff were amazing, the pool and beach area are beautiful and the air con in the building was crispy! Quick water taxi to Stari Grad from the beach area was 2 euro and worth it
Great stay 😊
We had a wonderful stay – everything was just lovely! The room was spotless and comfortable, the breakfast was top class. We really enjoyed the pool and bar too
Extra charge for sun loungers on the beach
Extra charge to switch beach towels
Menu and food was not to our taste, heavily into fish and meat or fake meat. Could improve by adding vegetable based dishes
I travelled with my husband and we stayed for 3 nights. It was a great short trip! The resort is beautiful and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great
The bathrooms were okay, they did not match the vibe of the rest of the hotel, but everything still worked. We had an issue with our balcony door and it was promptly fixed
The rest of the food was quite delicious too, including pizza, pasta and seafood
We had a balcony where we could sit and take in the view, the bed was very comfortable indeed and we had all the provisions we needed, including bathrobes and slippers for the lovely pool and spa
Perfect for us from the moment we set foot in the door: service was accomodating (but not overly), room and common areas spacious and well cared for, food delicious and ample, location quite central. Highly recommend.
Beautiful hotel
The hotel is beautiful, exuding old world charm. Fantastic view, spacious rooms with high ceilings and tastefully furnished. The staff are super friendly. Excellent value for the money.
This was the most wonderful stay in an elegant hotel along the Croatian Riviera. Our room was sumptuous and luxurious, tastefully decorated with a stunning view over the bay
The hotel is an Austro-Hungarian Empire style building. The rooms are not big but adequate and the service is very good. The hotel's paid parking lot is a bit far away
The location of Hotel Bellevue Liburnia, the fantastic view, and the friendly staff all make for a great stay. This is our hotel of choice when visiting Opatija.
Able to sit poolside with your drink and towels were readily available. Make sure you have flat heels or wedges ladies - it’s a steep hill walk to town, but that didn’t stop us
The hotel was a short 10 minute walk to the port (although uphill to get to the hotel) and they don't have elevators (warning if you have heavy bags). Nice pool area and great views out over the sea
Good base for 1 night stay in Hvar, if staying longer looked like it has a nice swimming pool area and bar. Breakfast was well stocked and varied
Rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast choices were generous and the pool was a real highlight. Extensive selection of drinks and food, and the staff were great
We came of the ferry so didnt drive up a steep hill would be an issue if you had mobility problems but not a proper for us ,lovely pool and bar plenty of sun loungers and good chilled out music room was sufficient clean with nice bathroom comfortable bed ,also breakfast was plentiful and loads of options ,had dinner once large portions and very tasty enjoyed my time at the pharos hotel would...
Wish they'd of communicated this before arriving as was a lot of steps to be pulling luggage up on arrival as hotel is at the top of the hill out of the way
Also convienenantly located near bus stop for buses to LAPAD region which have less expensive dining options. Besides the buffet, you can order your choice of breakfast, like Egg Benedict, Omellette etc
Nice service as expected from a 5-star hotel. Very good breakfast with terrace seat available. The only downside is that the pool is in the basement floor with dim lighting.
The room was spacious and clean. Location of the hotel was fantastic. It’s within 5min walk to the Old Town and it’s so convenient. It’s also a short drive away from the city area
Breakfast was lavish and served on the terrace which was bright and lovely trees surrounding it. Great indoor pool and sauna and steam room
Thus you can visit the Dubrovnik Old Town during different hours of the day to avoid the crowds and see the Old Town during day time and night time
A distinguished stay at the Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik. Timeless elegance, refined service, and exceptional attention to detail
It's a quiet hotel perfect for couples but children do stay there and are very welcome. I highly recommend the Hotel Cavtat and we will be going back next year
Nice & quiet, excellent staff, they made sure that your stay can be a memorable one. Excellent view and accessibility to public transportation
Rooms are super clean, comfortable beds, nice shower, and I had a great view from the balcony. Wonderful restaurant, great food and chef was very creative. Breakfast was above and beyond satisfying
Great hotel, beautiful little town , just about 8 minutes drive from Dubrovnik Airport and about 15 minutes from Old Town Dubrovnik
Great hotel and staff, rooms were clean. My only negative is the fire alarm kept going off and sometimes at 5am which was frustrating but no explanation given
A very cosy hotel in the heart of Cavtat. Beautiful views of the sea and small harbour from the balcony
Very comfortable & spacious room. Warm room in cold November visit. Good lighting in room & great bathroom lighting. Excellent restaurant for lunch & dinner along with a fantastic breakfast spread
Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, and the property inside and out was a great place to rest in peace. The moment we walked into the backyard, we knew we booked the right place in Lovran
Also, the magic made by the owner for the guests to have a 21 th century experience. We engoy our stay and we plan to be back in the nearest future
This place has something special, we manager to relax on our first day. Is a niche boutique hotel, for the ones appreciating the old buildings
A big thanks to the team and the owner, Mr. Vjekoslav, for a pleasant stay. We stayed only 3 nights and genuinely enjoyed them

We stayed a week at the gava resort and it was beautiful. We were getting a room with a private pool which was amazing. The staff was cleaning the pool and the room every day
The resort had just opened for the season so was very quiet (which was a good thing!). The facilities were excellent with 3 pools and access to a beach for swimming too
We were upgraded to a Forrest cottage with shared pool. Immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Read a few negative reviews about the food before going but we never had any issues with it
Had an amazing 10 day stay here beginning of September. Great location set in the forrest but only a 20 min walk into Milna. Staff were all lovely and genuinely wanted us to have a great stay
Would definitely recommend and will be going back. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff who made our holiday memorable for all the right reasons
The food was fine, much what you’d expect from an all-inclusive resort. The rooms were a little spartan with not much in the way of soft furnishings but otherwise well equipped
The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from several attractions in the old town and convenient for evening shopping in the city center. Given the location, I'd definitely book this hotel again
Beautifully decorated hotel which matches up the 5 star standard. Top notch service and excellent breakfast provided in the hotel restaurant. The room was very clean, beds and pillows were super comfortable
Stunning hotel at the door of the ancient Split. Delicious breakfast, amazing rooftop swimming pool and jacuzzi, perfect to rest after a day of discovery. The rooms are spacious and elegant with a immense bathroom
The hotel service is very enthusiastic. When I checked into the room, the front desk also called to ask if I was satisfied. They prepared a welcome letter and a small gift, which was very considerate
Seeing them scurrying around right in front of you was a bit surprising and a bit unsettling. I imagine other hotels in the area might have ants too, and I doubt the hotel has any solutions
The location of this hotel is just excellent. It is at the fringe of the most happening part of the town. But it is still very quiet and peaceful. Really a short walk to all the must sees
Perfect location, directly on the promenade / Lungomare and close to Opatija's city center. Indoor pool with sea water works till 19-00. Rich breakfast from 07-00 till 10-00
The food for breakfast and dinner is very good and there's nothing better than eating on a beautiful terrace with views of the sea in all directions. The room also has a beautiful view of the sea and Rijeka
Really nice place, workers are always smiling and ready to help, room is really pretty, but it needs a little renovation, food is delicious, hotel is situated right above the sea, so morning view is amazing, hotel is near stores, cafes, playground, fitnes room is really good, pool is great, but is could use some renovation, hotel isn't the newest, but is really pretty!
It's an old hotel, but everything is very clean. The water in the pool is just the right temperature and salinity
Hotel has swiming pool inside with sea water
The entire staff is extremely friendly. The only downside is the parking lot. Opatija is really desperate with this. It's already hard to get a parking space on the street
We were a 10 minute walk from reception, the pool, and the main Verudela Ave, but we were very close (1-3 minute walk to some of the best beaches!) the property is large, but getting around was easy
Picnic blanket, towels, snorkels and water shoes are essential! Beaches are stony, not sandy, but the water is beautifully clear and we loved swimming
Beautiful place with lovely pool and views to die for
We loved our 4 night stay in one of the beach front apartments. While the apartment was on the smaller side, it had everything we needed for a family of 3 to relax near the beach
A little more square footage in the apartment would be nice (we booked a premium 1 bedroom (2+2) and it was a tight fit for a family of three, but overall we loved our stay
Otwartość, uprzejmość, organizacja, lokalizacja, przejrzystość, czystość, słowiańskość w miksturze z rzymskim, śródziemnomorskim tłem – wszystko na najwyższym poziomie
The hotel itself is also very well-equipped with several restaurants, and the rooms are very comfortable. During winter, the heating system is effective and not particularly noisy
Parking has own garage but i parked on public street parking, there was some place and it is cheaper option. Has huge pool with warm water
Location: The hotel is right in the heart of Zagreb, within walking distance to several museums, other hotels, and pedestrian streets
The hotel is about 20 min walking distance from the old town. The facility is well arranged and can provide all you need. The carpark is at the -2 floor of the hotel which costs 20 Euro per night
Live up to its name. Great service and room is clean and spacious. Within walking distance to major tourist attractions.
Spend Christmas and a few days to explore Zagreb and the Christmas fair. Not too close to the central park but walkable, including to the upper town. Nice stay overall
