Best Hotels in Protaras

First thing you notice is a immaculately clean hotel. The floor sparkled and areas were clean. The staff were falling over themselves to help and ensure your holiday was the best it could be

Whilst we encounter an issue with food heat it was sorted swiftly and the quality of food was superb and varied for everyone

Overall I had a great time at papouis hotel , my shower room stunk of excrement and urine for the whole time I was there , i assumed it was a plumbing issue , as I was alone i put up with it

We have stayed for 10nights the hotel is immaculate rooms are clean and newly renovated bathrooms with walk in shower also newly renovated no storage for longer clothing rooms bit on the small side but we managed ok plenty of electric points and a refrigerator in room

We booked in twice! The All inclusive food was always fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented, and the variety of hot and cold snacks available throughout the day—along with cocktails and refreshing slushies—ensured we never went hungry

The ambiance throughout the resort strikes a perfect balance of comfort and relaxation. With landscaped grounds and thoughtfully designed spaces that made us feel like we were more in a village than a hotel

The staff are all very friendly, polite & helpful especially Probart & Sunita( both work @ the reception) & Andrea just sends you to paradise with her aromatherapy massage As for the food, from breakfast to evening meals, just so much to choose from & very tasty especially the soups

A fantastic location near stunning Fig tree bay beach ️ with lots of water sports, and other beautiful beaches all within walking distances, the main strip with super choices of restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets & bus stop right outside

The cleaners need a shout out especially Anna thankyou, whom kept our room 204 lovely, changed our towels daily and bedding often she is a credit to the hotel there were plenty of choices for breakfast

I am sad writing this review to be going home tomorrow but already looking to book again. Thankyou Plaza we will see you again we've loved it here your staff are a credit & everything was perfect

The pool is lovely but omg cold but once in lush to cool off in the heat, plenty of sunbeds and they provide pool towels lovely people staying here

Well my husband & I have been here since 6th October in Protarus Plaza and what a lovely hotel

Checked in quickly and Thomas on reception had a bit of banter and told us about a bar that was still open just around the corner if we fancied a cold beer after a fairly long journey

Don’t interact with any of the guests and when they do put activities on, don’t ask any of the guests kids if wanna do them and then hide one day he set up football and hid under a bush on his phone why this hotel is paying these two and allowing them to drag the hotel down and let all the staff down is beyond me would I come back? Yes, if the entertainment was sorted out

All this good quality food for a buffet style, all inclusive hotel. The drinks selection on the all inclusive was vey good with decent beer, red and/or white wine, local spirits - I/we like Ouzo

There was also a cocktail menu included in the AI which is unusual in our experience. The hotel room was spotless with a pool view on the 3rd floor. Large studio style with double bed, sofa, small kitchenette with fridge

Loved this hotel, nothing was too much trouble. They accommodated our mobility issues and let us charge scooters we hired to charge at reception. The food was the best we have ever had A/I at this star rate hotel

All the staff are so friendly and the manager is always around checking how everyone is throughout their stay. We’ve booked for June 2026 and can’t wait

Hotel is right at the beach so we didn't need to use the sunbeds at the beach, we used the ones by the pool which is very close. You just cross the path and go for a dip in the sea

Only thing bothering us (or the people next to us because we were very loud) was that there is so little space between these sunbeds, so no much privacy

Many of our customers at I Dive Cyprus stay at Sunprime as its only two minutes walk from the dive center and very convenient for shopping, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Great value, clean, good food, overall 👌

We only did breakfast and it was fine, but a little more variation would be nice for a long stay like ours of 2 weeks. Ok drinks at the lounge and pool bar. Air conditioning in our room broke once in the evening

Asked for a sea view, and the view was amazing. Nice rooms, good bar, good breakfast, good service, decent sized pool and the hotel is in a great location next to the beach and next to all the nightlife and shops

Lovely hotel breakfast very nice rooms lovely and staff very nice. Round the pool was nice and staff looked after us very well . Rooms very clean. The only bad thing was our shower was not very powerful

We found the staff on reception friendly and helpful and although there are issues with late check out we were offered full use of the facilities near the spa to get a shower (I was the only person in there) and storage for our cases until our flight that evening

After reading a couple of reviews we had our mind set on that it would not match the 4 stars we usually stay at and at worst be not that good at all. As a summary it was better than we anticipated

There was no water available for us to drink after our 45 minute coach ride and the reception desk shrugged their shoulders when i expressed i was dissatisfied considering its all inclusive, but they could offer us a dry sandwich, which i obviously declined

This is very much a family hotel , it offers an all inclusive package which is very very good. I wouldn’t go as a couple due to the fact there are lots of kids but as I have a couple it was perfect for us

The Room was basic but clean and tidy and serviced daily. The Shower was fantastic and there were ample towels. The kids loved the water park in the afternoons but the water was cold as it was the end of the season

Meaning some of my party had to walk the streets at 12:45 in the morning to find a local shop to purchase water. We wasn't the only family to experience this, so if your flight is late at night, come prepared

The hotel was in an excellent location. The Hotel rooms could do with a bit more storage and a bit of updating. Breakfast was nice plenty on offer. However, the evening meals were awful

I flushed 3 or 4 times but there was still a yellowish colour to the water and a smell of urine (not good when you're hungover)

We then clocked the mop buckets when we came back from breakfast and just after they had cleaned our room, the water was black so we think that they don't change the water regularly enough causing the musty smell, we stopped baby from crawling around as much as we could, his feet and knees were filthy after crawling around the floor

Others in our group didn't really notice anything wrong with the cleanliness (but their rooms were cleaned earlier than ours) but we all noticed that the towels we had left on the bathroom floor (to be changed) were folded and hung up again

* room cleanliness - the maids did attend daily they swept, mopped and made made our beds each morning but the following could have been highlighted for us due to having a toddler crawling around

we found the room to be very dusty - you can see the dust floating in the daylight and when we put our phone down to charge there was a layer of dust on it when we picked them up again

In close proximity to main street so excessive noise from bars until about 1 am most nights. Food fine with many fresh salads etc. Bar areas good with entertainment most nights, Most staff are a good asset to the hotel

This is our 3rd time going we just cant stay away its peacuful the staff are friendly and there is a buffet breakfast its an absolute must you cant not go!

Maria who is the owner is exceptional, the service that we received was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, the villa was clean and very well equipped, the location was good but as we came in the off season most places were closed, but we had a car so it wasn't a problem

Good hotel with friendly staff, good swimming both in the sea and the pool.

Nuget, pizza, sandwiches, French, burgers, jelly and other little delicacies can be fetched anywhere. The hotel has two swimming pools, but if you are a clown, a kid or a bamse horrible then you should be careful

Awesome place and awesome beach but too much kids. The hotel has breakfast, lunch and dinner and you can visit the snack bar to get ice cream with all the sauces
