Just back from a lovely week at the Toxotis hotel. Booked as a last minute family holiday and we got a great deal. The staff are brilliant, all very friendly, professional and made our stay really enjoyable. Tassos in the restaurant was great plus Alex and Peter behind the bar in the evening and the lady on the pool bar during the day. The entertainment team did try hard to get activities going during the day but didn't have much interest (hopefully this will pick up as the season gets busier). Marta did put on mini disco in the evenings even though numbers were low. It was better when she moved it to the bar area, rather than been tucked in by the kids club. Management were very visible walking round the hotel daily and asking for feedback throughout. We did have an issue with the lifeguard but was quickly resolved by the management team. The hotel was very quiet (to be expected at start of the season) so always plenty of sunbeds and easy to get a table in the restaurants too. The pool and slides were very cold but again to be expected at the time of year. Our 6 yr old didnt mind though. We thought the food was very good, always really enjoyed our meals and found there was plenty of choice for us. Good selection of cocktails on the all inclusive menu as well. Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. For us, we thought the hotel was excellent value for money, and would definitely look to return in future.

Just home from a 7 night stay. As a family of 3 adults. Check in was fast, not a lot of information given as to where the restaurant or bar was but we found them anyway. May sound stupid but it seemed like we were going through a fire exit. The staff are 99% excellent. Except the lifeguard. We witnessed him making children who were very obviously able to swim leave the pool and left them in tears. He was a rude man and we hated him walking past. He said he would lose his license if a child had a problem in the pool which would be fair enough but he never judged Their swimming ability at all. He also spoke about his personal life which was not appropriate to families with children as it was very sexual. Bar and restaurant staff were excellent. Very friendly and happy. A big issue for us was that there was nowhere in the hotel to buy a bottle of water. The nearest shops aren’t accessible for those with less mobility so a small charge for a bottle of water would be ideal. Even one vending machine would do the trick. The other problem we had is that the food in the buffet and at the snack bar wasn’t very hot. Loads of choice at each meal but it was tepid at best. At this time of year the pool was freezing so inaccessible but that would be the case at most hotels mid April. There Was no indoor bar so this time of year everyone was freezing on an evening. They did provide heaters for the first 3 nights but took them away after that and it was very very cold. The cleaner was very unpredictable as knocked at 8.30am the first morning and then was random times the rest of the week but when they did come it was a nice fresh smell however the toilet roll wasn’t refreshed. Over all we did have a really good time and we put this down to the friendly staff and the other holiday makers who we all got on with and had fun. Would we go again? Maybe if it was a similar price we paid as it was approx £400 each for a week all inclusive and we did feel it was worth it even though the food was cold. We did get a few takeaways as we had one very fussy eater which was an expense we didn’t expect but again if the food was hot it wouldn’t have been as much of an issue. A few small changes would make this hotel a definite 3 star. To be able to buy water. To upgrade the buffet heaters so the food was hotter. Also the snack bar food to be hotter as it’s made to order. An ok location. We did have a very good holiday due to the friendly staff and the people we met. We don’t regret going however those few changes would make the hotel so much more positive.

The hotel looks very good, especially around the pool, it’s a really pleasant place to relax with excellent service. I love pools with a bar, it’s so convenient to order drinks while enjoying the atmosphere. The woman at the bar was very friendly and made my cocktail perfectly. Thank you for the wonderful service!

We had a pleasant stay at the Toxotis Hotel in Paralimni and felt it offered good value for what we paid. The hotel itself was quiet, which meant there were always plenty of sunbeds available — a real bonus when you just want to relax by the pool. Entertainment was pretty much non‑existent, though. There was no poolside entertainment, and the music around the pool was the same playlist that ran all night in the bar, which did get a bit repetitive after a while. Smoking around the pool was also something we weren’t keen on. The food wasn’t amazing, but we managed to find something to eat at every meal, so it did the job. Overall, the hotel feels more like a solid 3‑star, but we were happy enough with the experience considering the price we paid.

Just returned from a one week stay at this hotel with my son who is 11 years old and my parents who are in their 70's We'd read a lot of negative reviews before we arrived but overall, we could not fault it. Those people who pay for a 3 star hotel but expect a 5 star service seriously need to re-evaluate their expectations and those that complain about cracked tiles and other minor faults need to remember they're on holiday, not health and safety inspectors! The hotel is in a lovely location, not far from a few local shops, pubs and restaurants. There is a bus stop aswell just outside the hotel that costs €2 to take you directly to the waterpark in Ayia Napa via Protaras. All staff in the hotel are very friendly. A special mention to Diana who worked in the restaurant. As it was towards the end of the season when we arrived, there was no animation team and evening entertainment was limited so I am unable to comment on this. The pool area was kept very clean and tidy with plenty of sunbeds and parasols available. Good selection of all inclusive drinks available including freshly made cocktails and mocktails, alcoholic and soft drinks aswell as hot drinks. As mentioned, as we went near the end of the season, it seemed that the food was becoming limited with less choices available. However, there was always something for everybody with a lovely selection of desserts and fresh fruit. Rooms very comfortable with an average sized balcony, air conditioning and a free safe. You do have the option should you wish to hire pool towels, hair dryer and iron. This can be arranged via reception. Overall, a very pleasant stay at this hotel so thank you to all the staff who work so hard.

We wanted a relaxing break in the sunshine somewhere nice and this is what we got . We noticed there were some negative reviews but overall the score was 4.5 so we weren’t overly worried and rightly so . The room was clean and bed made towels changed every day too. We had a pool view and although the rooms would’ve been nicer with more modern bathrooms , for a five day stay it was just fine . Food .. I can’t really comment as I am the fussiest eater in the world and exist on very few calories on holiday ! But my friend found the food fine and had no complaints . Bar staff were lovely and drinks were good too . Poolside .. it was end of season so no entertainment staff but that was fine for us . We loved the music that was played during the day which added to the very relaxed atmosphere . The area is lovely and we went walking every morning . There is a boardwalk you can easily walk along into Protaras which I would recommend . I would definitely revisit and would also travel there alone as it felt perfectly safe . In the height of summer the atmosphere may be different but fpr an end of season break to get away from everything it was perfect . I sometimes think that people who see a high review on Tripadvisor expect too much and think they are staying in a 5 star hotel when it is rated 3 star. Most people we spoke to were happy enough woth their stay

Good location close to excellent entertainment venues and restaurants. The town has many attractions and adjacent high quality beaches. Local Bus Services operating right outside the hotel. The Toxotis however fails to deliver on many levels. Food at the hotel is variable. Coffee machine, Juice machine in the main restaurant both broke down on the same day. Guests obliged to use 1 communal kettle. On site bar closes at 11pm. Rooms are very dated. Telephone system in the room was not connected, no point in the event of an emergency. Fire Doors on level 3 were wedged open, a total breach of fire regulations! The Lift broke down at one stage. Outside Space: Dangerous broken walkway around the Swimming Pool, which despite cleaning remained dirty during our stay Poolside beds: a high percentage are broken. Every morning there's a selection process to find a safe bed. I wouldn't choose to return to this hotel.

We got a fairly cheap last minute package deal for 7 nights flying from Liverpool. Flying from our local airport would have been double the price and would definitely not have been value for money. It was adequate for the price we paid. GOOD POINTS It was pretty quiet so there were enough sunbeds around the pool, easy to find spaces even after breakfast finished at 9am. The room was pretty spacious and we had a perfect view of sunrise from our balcony. Soft drinks from the pool at were always cold, fizzy and tasted decent. Location - easy walk to the beach where there is a great path along to Protaras and beyond. There are some good sports bars and restaurants close by and a bus stop right outside the hotel car park. Housekeeping came every day with clean towels. Chef at breakfast was happy to make tasty omelettes to order. Entertainment - singers and musicians at the pool bar in the evening were good Pool and surrounding area were clean. NOT SO GOOD POINTS Food was average at best. This is the first time we’ve chosen to eat out for lunch or dinner 4 out of 7 days when being on all inclusive basis. Very limited choices, especially for vegetarians. Salad was always fresh and tasty though! Breakfast (7-9) lunch (1-3) and dinner (6-9) with snacks from pool bar served 3.30-5 (hotdogs, burgers, salad and Pasta (ran out of the tomato based one so only bolognese available). Other than that it’s only mini magnum type ice creams (which they ran out of). We found most of the items in the kids corner were cold (onion rings, hash browns, french toast, chicken nuggets , pizza) Drinks - selection of local drinks and boxed wine - only available from pool bar outwith meal times and usually in plastic cups. The gym in the basement is tiny with a selection of really old equipment. Rooms aren’t soundproofed at all - really noisy when people are coming and going through the night and the housekeepers arrive in the morning. No ‘do not disturb’ signs so no chance of a lie in (much to the annoyance of our teenage child haha!) Not much shelf space for clothes or toiletries and we had nowhere on the balcony to dry towels etc. The place is a bit tatty and could do with a lick of paint and some basic maintenance. 3rd bed in room is very small and rock hard.

Booked for a family of 11, was a little worried after reading the reviews but wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Arrived late & greeted by friendly reception staff & given sandwiches and information on the closest shop as needed milk for our son. There's only 1 small lift that can be a little temperamental but didn't phase us. Our room was nice and clean, lovely big balcony with sea view, shower worked fine and didn't flood as others have previously commented. Yes the beds are very hard. Cleaners come every day. Lovely big pool and kids enjoyed the water slides, few of the items weren't working (bucket) the lip of the kids pool was quite sharp edging not curved (little one cut his leg) but we were just mindful of this. The sun beds could have been better, as quite a few were broken but we found a few that were ok, seemed to be better wooden ones near the big pool but as we stayed near the kids pool we didn't use them. Not many umbrellas and one broke, we told the reception and the maintenance man was out within 5 mins taking it away and brought back another one, also had a problem with my safe and again he was up to sort it straight away. The bar man was lovely (hair in man bun) always happy to chat. They all worked very hard. Food was ok you could always find something, some days were better than others, always had nuggets, chips & pizza so my kids were happy. Drinks were nice. We did eat out a few nights as there were so many nice restaurants. Entertainment we didn't see any, would have been nice to have some activities around the pool for the kids, they had a singer and violinists but we didn't see them. Lots of local bars and restaurants nearby, it's a lovely walk along the boardwalk into protaras, we done this a few times. Overall it was a nice family holiday and for the price we paid we couldn't really complain, basic hotel but clean with friendly staff. A few small changes and it could be brilliant, but if you want a cheap and cheerful week away or to use it as a base then it would be ideal.

Just had 14 fantastic days at the Toxotis hotel Definitely 10/10 The beds comfortable, great air conditioning, the pool big, the food great the pool bar nice and shaded the drinks flowing and the sun shining Demetrius was magnificent and made sure things ran well in the dining room, he was one cool dude !! If Cyprus make a James Bond movie he would be the man ‍♂️ The wi-fi was a bit hit and miss and the place can do with a bit of TLC but nothing to worry about !!
