Hilton Alexandria Corniche in Alexandria

I have stayed at Hilton Cairo Heliopolis many times, and I generally love Hilton properties wherever I go.

I just checked out after a one-night stay at Hilton Corniche Alexandria. This stay was meant to help us decide which hotel to book for the remaining 13 nights of our trip. Unfortunately, Hilton Alexandria was not the right choice for us.
The hotel itself is beautiful and meets the physical standards you’d expect from Hilton. However, the staff experience was the worst I’ve ever had at any Hilton property.
Check-in was very slow, and no information was provided at all. We only discovered that the hotel had beach access by pure accident—after we had already checked out.
At the buffet, service was extremely slow, with orders either missing or incorrect.
Upon departure, I did what I always do: I called reception to confirm checkout and ensure there was no outstanding balance. I was clearly told everything was settled and that we were free to leave.
After we had already left the hotel, a valet ran after me and my wife in the street and asked us to return because “they wanted to talk.” We were brought back only to be lectured by a reception employee (female, dark hair, glasses) about how I should have come to the desk despite already calling. There was no issue, no balance, and nothing to resolve—she simply lectured me and then let us go.
This was unnecessary, unprofessional, and frankly insulting. She could have easily checked the room balance herself instead of calling us back in such a cheap and embarrassing way

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to Nagwa during the check in process and for getting us a great room. She was professional and helpful throughout our whole stay. Hamid went above and beyond at the La Gourmandise restaurant. Dawlet provided excellent house keeping services and made our stay comfortable.

The property was clean, organized, and well maintained. Breakfast buffet was great. The sunset view from the pool and private beach were a plus. Thank you everybody.

I had an amazing stay at Hilton Alexandria Corniche. Everything was perfect from the warm welcome to the beautiful sea view and spotless room. The staff were friendly and professional, the food was delicious, and the whole atmosphere was relaxing and elegant. Truly one of the best hotels in Alexandria and I can’t wait to come back again.

I want to thank the staff they did they best to make my short stay very special. The service was really wonderful.
The hotel location is excellent, the balcony view watching the sea was amazing.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Well appointed hotel room, but mine had highway noise so I slept with ear plugs. I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Very readily helpful staff. They've thought of everything and clearly care about your happiness. I loved being able to correspond with hotel staff via Whatsapp while I was staying here, to include ordering room service. That was a first for me. This was a one stop shop and most of the ample amenities were included with the spectacular room. Nothing was setup to clean fitness equipment. Sauna was fabulous. It may be best to shower in your room, but I did appreciate the spa option and I used the shower inside the spa. Mom loved the marble floors and having a bathtub. Breakfast staff were very accommodating preparing beef bacon just for my mom. The coffee at breakfast tastes awesome, but the service station was a little slow. It would help if there is a short list available of what you can order. Decaf coffee wasn't available. The cigar bar is elegant, well ventilated and offers BOGO happy hour from 4 to 6pm along with live entertainment around 11pm. The night club also offers BOGO happy hour from 9 to 10pm along with great music.

The hotel room is spacious , the sea view is amazing , house keeping very helpful, receptionist is attentive, friendly and supportive. There is a shuttle bus to the private beach (2 mins only) it is very clean but no coffe shops to buy anything on the beach. It has a panoramic swimming pool suitable for both kids and adults (on the roof) .The buffet is varied and delicious. It serves hookah (extra fees) after meal times. WiFi is very good. The location is in a side street that has many shops ,supermarket ,restaurants and pharmacies. It takes half an hour to the bibliotique and the same to qaitbay citadel (touristic places). It is pricey but worth every penny. My overall rating is wonderful.

1. The sliding doors to the room's balcony don't close securely, and since we were on the second floor, someone could easily climb over from a neighboring balcony, which felt quite unsafe.
2. The hotel's soundproofing is very poor.
3. The hotel seems newly renovated, and there's a strong, unpleasant smell.
4. The air conditioning doesn't turn off completely.
5. The sea view, however, was quite nice.

Overall, I wouldn't really recommend it.

Excellent service, hospitality is amazing & breakfast is so good. Access to the hotel is in a low tier urban area but it's understandable as this is the nature of the city.
