We walked about 15 minutes from the harbor to the hostel. Either check-in online or at reception (staffed 24/7). We had a double room with our own bathroom and toilet

I stayed for four nights on a business trip however I know Tallinn very well. This is without a question the perfect location for business or leisure. Make sure you upgrade to get a view of Freedom Square

The bathroom was tiled and had a large shower area, and the soap/shampoo had a pleasant fragrance. There is a small pool and jacuzzi in the basement. There is also a steam room and a standard sauna next to the pool area

Very helpful staff, they helped us take photos for the project from the room window. By the way, the room seemed very beautiful and pleasant, especially the panoramic view from the window of the old city

The room was big and spacious and well adorned with the essentials to insure a more than comfortable stay and the room was spotlessly clean. The front desk staff is top notch from check-in to check out

We stayed at Palace Hotell for 3 days in September 2025. We got room 709 and the room layout was quite good with good size bed, ceiling windows and with a wardrobe and desk in the entrance area

Yes, it's full of old people and funny water aerobic classes but there are like 10 pools and it's a treasure hunt for the kids who quickly start playing along. It is right at the edge of old town

We visited in February and it was incredibly quiet but so relaxing. Everything was spotless and we couldn't fault the service or the staff. Didn't try the sauna or on site restaurant but they looked very good

This place is EVERYTHING you want from a hostel: Staff with a neverending positive attitude, good prices, a bar!! and an overall great atmosphere :) Add a heated floor in the toilets and you have a 5/5 star hostel

The staff are a right laugh and lead the every night parties by setting an example on how to drink! The only negative I have is that the hostel does not have a stripper pole :/

No lockers avaiable, left my bag to receptionist to be "locked in the staff room" but when i came back it was just left behind the unattended reception desk , very central position near many clubs means also a bit of noise during the night

There are two entrances: one is the big gate on this corner (it is normally locked) and the other one is on väike-karja street, after BeauMonde store there is a gate, you should enter this gate, turn to the right and go until you see the same big gate in the corner (that you can see from outside)

Not wanting to tests these odds (since building door was left open for anybody to enter) we asked the kind receptionist from 3rd floor hostel to keep an eye on it

There was a coat rack, attempted to be attached to a carton wall (meaning it might hold a hat, but nothing else) and an exposed socket I'd be afraid to touch

The location and front desk service were also pretty good. There were many artisan gardens and other workshops nearby, which I enjoyed seeing. There was also a cafe next door that served delicious pancakes

However, on our last day, the fire alarm went off, and when we asked the front desk, they said they didn't know what caused it. Since it's an old building, perhaps there are various issues?

Nicely renovated and decorated, it has a comfortable atmosphere, providing guests with everything they need for a pleasant stay - including kitchen utensils, washing machine, dishwasher, fresh linens and towels (the cleaning ladies were professional and friendly, despite not speaking English), earplugs, triple water filtration system in the room and a coffee machine downstairs (2€ per drink)

It’s a clean place, well organized, check-in is easy and prompt, they were able to prepare our room for an earlier check-in and on top of the friendly service, we found croissants waiting for us in the room as a refreshment on the house

Breakfast was good, with plenty of hot and cold foods, with help yourself coffee machine. The bar wasn't open while we were there, however there were plenty of local good choices of bars and restaurants

The room was spacious and they provided a cot for baby. Although everything was old eg lacquered wood cupboards drawers, bedside tables, it was clean and hotel provided extra pillows

I really liked the medieval style of the hotel and the atmosphere. Breakfast was really tasty with quite big choice. Location is perfect! Only few steps from St. Olav's Church and 10 minutes walk from Old Tallinn centre

It has a ceramic stove (although no pots or pans), a microwave, and its own fridge. The location is great for exploring the historic center or taking public transportation

Nice Airbnb! It's right in the old town. Self check-in was awesome, and the host was great. But we had to pay a 300€ deposit.

Disadvantage: Unfortunately there are no car parking with the apartment but you can rent 24 hr parking for 18€. The lights on the building entrance on the outside stair is not working 😕and there are bad smell on it

Way too expensive for what you get: hot sleeping room without a window and airco. The mattress of the sleeping sofa was very uncomfortable. No doors between the rooms for some privacy

The room was nicely done up for 4 of us with all basic things. even the kitchen had everything that one requires. Outside was so quiet that people back home asked if there is a curfew when they saw the pictures

Directly in the old town, so if you step out you are in the old Tallinn. And tourists are passing the windows all araound the clock, so we had to sleep with closed windows and no air condition
