Set a 7-minute drive from central Rovaniemi, this homely B&B offers individually decorated rooms with free WiFi access. Ounasvaara Ski Centre is just 500 metres away.
Pts successful layout, several bathrooms, sauna, trimmed with mozhevelnik. A huge table, lots of dishes, a fireplace. 10 min walk grocery store and children's entertainment center. By car to a large shop Prism minutes 8
The place is cool. Outside unsightly, but inside is excellent. For a big company, just super.
We came across a very good house, my grandparents lived here in 2018.
Gorgeous and spacious cottage, but three stars because the sauna / washroom had a very horrible smell that was not reported to us and when we called they said they were aware
Did not apologize in any way and did not offer any compensation
We stayed at one of their lodges in 2019 and it was wonderful. Well equipped, well maintained and really lovely. About 5 minutes walk to town centre. Would highly recommend for families / bigger groups
We booked to go back this year and stay in one of their apartments in town, we have had to cancel and Anna has been so helpful and understanding

I was very happy to stay in this accommodation. It was very clean, as to enter you have to take off your shoes. The staff was very friendly and helpful with us. They gave us a lot of advice on what to do
The guest house is located at a walk-able distance from Rovaniemi main bus station and the city centre. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. There's a common kitchen for use by the residents
Definitely I'm going to choose this place on my next visit to Rovaniemi. The owner gave me a lot of tips about the city that let me experienced the life in Lapland as if I were a local
Great an cozy place, very close to everything. Well maintained and always clean. Ran by a family who is going to make your staying like if you were in your own home
Very nice place, very friendly staff. Clean rooms, nice lounge and kitchen. Staff very friendly and willing to help and advice. Definitely recommend it.
The Arktikum museum and garden also close by so you can easily walk searching for aurora in winter. Above all, the owner and his team was quite helpful
Beautiful modern cottage with extraordinar architecture right in the middle of finish peaceful nature. Comfortable rooms and cozy cottages, available also for bigger groups, friendly service
A cozy Finish hotel directly on skiing tracks (one does not need a car if comes here for cross country skiing as the bus from the airport stops directly before the hotel)
The rooms, the service, the food, the meeting facilities, the staff, everything was exceptional and we would most certainly come back. Also very quick communication
Rooms are very clean, sauna is rather small and old but still ok. Breakfast buffet is very good, dinner buffet is a bit less good (especially for the price)
We sent several requests for the quote, and Lomakeskus Seita responded within a couple of hours, resulting in us selecting it for our meeting
We hosted a small conference here. Everything worked out very well, and we were all very happy with the resort

Quiet and cozy place with everything for a relaxed vacation. There is a little beach, several places for BBQ, table tennis, badminton and board games for common use. Rooms are comfortable and very clean
Privately run by the owners great Finnish lakeshore retreat with all amenities one would expect in the 22 century. Absence of TV in rooms compliments the atmosphere of escape from urban fuss
Skating rink in the winter is available. The location is 20-30 minutes from the city and the food should be brought with you
Bed sheets and pillows are a delight and are so pleasing to skin that we are considering buying these for our home :-)

A little hard to get to the place, remote location. Every cottage is very secluded. One problem was lots of mosquitos, they are very aggressive, but I believe it's a common problem in Finland in June and July
Very beautiful place, great cottages with everything you need, a wood sauna and a boat. Fishing for free with provided simple fishing rods, spinning you can rent from the host for 15 euros
Overall a very good experience, I recommend Jokiniemen for an authentic and peaceful stay in Finland

Visited for a convention. My only complaint was that the swimming pools were really cold
Being a hotel from the 70's, this is place is pretty decent - not great, not terrible. Biggest pluses being the location, the view and the swimming pool with a sauna
Lovely place to stay at a fantastic location with amazing views and a remarkable staff that was always kind, welcoming, and wonderful to chat with. Gym had all necessary equipment. Breakfast was complete and fantastic
It is a 70's building, but that doesn't stop it from being a great place to stay at. Second time here, and will come back
A real 70's vintage feel gives the famous Vääksy hotel a peculiar charm. It has a well-stocked bar and offers a good lunch table. On weekends, well-known artists and bands are performing
I have been here many times durin past decates. It is actually nice that it havnt change so much. Really retro.
I did nor like the kitchen ,it was unsanitary ,refrigerator was filrhy and putric smell.. no dishes ,no eating utensils pots and pans were filthy
• The shower had no divider on the floor, so the whole bathroom got wet when I had to shower. Pros:
• Unlike previous reviews have claimed, the place had no rats, roaches, flies or other animals to speak of
I can't in good faith give this place 4 stars, but I would give it it's a solid 3: it's what you expect for the price, yet it could be better. I would call this a motel rather than a hotel
• Plates and cutlery in the kitchen are limited, the washing up liquid hadn't been topped up during the week I was there, and there were no drying racks or towels
Top tip: get the A-B zone travel ticket from HSL to travel to central Helsinki. It's 40 minutes to the centre and not at all expensive. Remember to flag down the driver as they don't stop unless you do
It is 40min away from the city centre by bus. For the price (I paid 20€ during a weekend on high season) I would come. Only thing could be better for me is more ventilation in the rooms
There were plenty of various pools and we had fun swimming in them, the water temperature was fine and the thing entertained adults for couple of hours
The spa itself was fine, although the first thing I noticed after stepping into the dressing room was badly working locker system, that took like 5 tries to lock because the reader didn't want to read my wrist tag
The room looked dated, with noticeable wear on the walls and especially in the bathroom floor. The air in the room was stale, but at least we could open a small window and the room also had blackout curtains
The beds were the absolutely worst part of the room. Extra hard and uncomfortable, plus the sheet was so tiny that it came off after rolling on the horrible bed trying to get some sleep
The bed cover under the sheet was something I really didn't want to see, with all the stains you could imagine
The second annoyance was that all the soap dispensers I tried in the showers were empty
Probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Really clean and quiet. Lovely kitchen and common area. Many toilets and showers- that were also clean. Staff were very nice and the location is right in the city centre
location right in the central location. Checking in was smooth , they emailed me the passcode for doors in the downstairs and third floor. they gave me check in , an hour early. washroom were clean , as the kitchen too
com, which didn’t send my details to the hostel, so I didn’t have the door code when I arrived, and there was no one at reception to open up, so it was stressful trying to get in
The hostel is excellent, the rooms are large and super comfortable, with great beds and curtains that make it even more comfortable to sleep well
There is a large common area and clean kitchen. The room is cozy as well. The only thing is the entrance of the hostel is not easy to find.
The shower is very good, there is a hairdryer and the kitchen is really cool!
It was really great. My only problem was with trip
Excellent service, good price, very good facilities. Although it's a bit far from the city to walk there (~4Km), easily fixable by using scooters or bikes.
Totally recommendable.
Loved the pool!
Good value! We got an apartment with an equipped kitchen, very clean and stylish. Only issue was no air conditioning but that’s everywhere in Finland.
Nice sauna and pool as part of the price. Highly recommend
The rooms are super clean. The staff is friendly. Everything is good here. It would have been better if the breakfast buffet had a bit more options.
Kitchen was quite functioal tho with the plus of an induction stove. Would recommend this place if you're looking for a comfortable place to sleep and maybe to cook a quick meal
It would've probably been easier to open the locks with a lockpick honestly. I also couldn't figure out how to open the windows in the room but that wasn't a very big issue
Located inside an university residence. Rooms are a bit small, but with your own bathroom. It is a practical place if you do not want to spend a lot of money on a hotel
Nice camping. Houses with lake views. We had Superior house for 4 just on lake beach with small private sand beach and possibility to use boat for free. Enjoyed and recommend.
Area itself is very cozy, peaceful and wonderful. Only minus is foreign "process-oriented" receptionist who wants to take it his way. Cafe atmosphere there was not welcoming
The sanitary facilities are a bit 'rustic' and were very cold. Both of these were some way from the caravan part. Having said that, I would recommend it if you're not too 'precious' about the showers and toilets
We stayed for 1 night in a cabin with a sauna. Cabin was a bit cold and it took a while to get it warmer. Cabin was good equipped, microwave oven was a nice surprise and sauna was very good
I really liked the position of this camping, and of course it was more than quiet in mid September. Right in the forest with very pretty lakes and lots to do, also nice forest walks
Decent choice for a budget traveler. The Economy cabins are quite old and not very tidy, but hold all the basic necessities except running water. Location is good.
Many thanks to the hostess Gittan. Panget is a homely and charming little old-fashioned guest house. Very affordable, absolutely worth every cent. I am very happy to come back - pension life suits me excellently.
Affordability was ahead of choosing this place. There was no air conditioning and the room was hot in the summer -18 too hot!
Charming old building, nice rooms, good beds and owner lovely. The breakfast was good.
I wouldn't even have given those points without the help of the Russian speaking woman whose patience I admired
This time was better than what I had experienced.
All areas except my own room were shared. Shared kitchen, shared bathroom, the room I stayed in. The lack of reception led to a constant accumulation of density
Near to airport.relax environment.best place for stay with family.
There is no self-service check-in. There are shared bathrooms, laundry rooms, and kitchens. You need to bring your own ingredients. The price is high and it is only about 1. 5 kilometers away from Vantaa Airport
For a hostel without a private shower and toilet, it was totally fine for one night. Personally, I wouldn’t stay longer. The rooms were very cute, the beds were comfortable, and the temperature was good as well
