Water in the indoor swimming pool was a bit chilly, but otherwise both sauna and pool area were clean and well maintained. We’ll gladly come back one day

I was looking for a hotel close to Helsinki yet giving the remote/away-from-everything/close to nature feeling…this was exactly it! Some reviewers mentioned the breakfast selection being small, but I think this has been updated because there was quite a lot of options and food when I was here

My favorite hotel in Helsinki. A hotel located in a beautiful natural location, on the seashore whwere meet high level hospitality, Nordic design, art and cusine .

Pool and sauna have limited hours (morning and evening) so carrefour with children. Without a car you won’t do anything around

Great hotel! We stayed here a while ago, it was very cozy. Beautiful rooms designed in 70s style, clean and comfy, very cozy interior, amazing breakfast with multiple options

Details like moomin themed cups in the rooms are the cherry on top *) staff is friendly, helpful and speak excellent English *) sauna and swimming pool are great - when you want to have a cold bath in between your sauna sessions you can even jump into the cold Baltic Sea from the pier, marvellous! The only downside of our stay were actually breakfasts

The usual low service quality that makes Finns independent was worsened by a lack of managerial expertise of room booking, provision for food and accessibility

This was the scond time in the historic building of Villa Urhola. We really like the rooms that have the "villa feeling", high ceilings etc

For example, the hotel had invested in putting maps of the hotel around the buildings. In a complex structure, the maps are needed for new visitors. How've, nobody is told about them, and they can be hard to find

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the surroundings nice and one can swim in the lake both on the beach and at the nearby ferry pier

A nice experience and, above all, an elevating experience. Unique nature and an old sanatorium building, where guests were welcomed with a warm attitude even at midnight. Fresh strawberries with oatmeals.

Yes, there is an authentic Mexican Cantina at Kruunupuisto!

They even gave us functional and festive Christmas room keys to take home

The staff were all wonderful and very helpful, they answered all our questions and went above and beyond our expectations ^^ The breakfast was brilliant, I will say water world got a bit crowded but overall we had a great experience

service was particularly outstanding, really friendly staff that let us keep our stuff when we arrived early and wanted to leave late. also let us shower after skiing even though we had already checked out

The spas and pool were great to relax in after hitting the ski slopes, and the gym is one of the best gyms I've experienced in a hotel. The included breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious

There seemed to be a sauna in the bathroom, but we didn't try it as we didn't know how to use it. The hotel breakfast was an English breakfast, and the hotel entrance offered views of the ski resort

The service was outstanding — staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We also loved the beautiful views from the balcony. Breakfast was included and offered a great selection

The family room was very nice, but the fifth person was considered an extra bed and slept on a sofa. The hotel ground floor was great for watching the Northern Lights, and we saw them that night

Superclean & quiet hotel right off the Esplanade! Sauna & pool looked brand new. Highly recommend it.

Wonderful location, very clean but few amenities and oddly laid out: room 511 was on the second floor and took a labyrinthine path to find it. Pool hours limited and “double bed” means 2 twins jammed together

What is really brilliant, is the very nice and helpful reception staff, who will give you comprehensive information about local transport, sights, and will recommend a really great local restaurant (Kissanviisket, you must visit)

Very comfortable and practically furnished rooms with an excellent view of the lake (I recommend choosing a room with a private sauna, it's really worth it). Good breakfast, the hotel restaurant is also good

Absolutely surprizing experience Hotel in great location, situated on the shore of Jyväsjärvi lake in the middle of university campuses. 20 minutes from local airport

Jyväskylä has very nice Alvar Aalto museum, Central Finland museum and, nearby in Tikkakoski you will find the Finnish Air Force Museum

The hotel itself is well-placed in Levi and close to all the amenities, which is very handy when the temperature drops particularly low! The main reception and restaurant area of the Sirkantähti is cosy, welcoming and fairly spacious

No need for blankets or extra layers, especially when in the sauna/shower room, which is constantly warm, regardless of heating! We would definitely come back to the Sirkantähti! Keetos!

Good hotel in town and is actually better than pictures. Comes with breakfast too and the staff kindly gave us breakfast boxes for those who can’t make it for breakfast

Spa hotel in the downtown Hamina, probably one of the better hotels of the region. Parking is free in the hotel parking lot and all quests can use the spa without extra cost

Original Sokos Hotel Royal is situated at the center of Vaasa. The downside is very limited availability of free parking (i. none), upside is a central location from everywhere, including the train station

Breakfast facilities are good, the breakfast itself was OK. Reception/service was friendly, which of course is very much the state at least in the all the hotels I've stayed over the years in Vaasa

Sauna is available at the top floor, but unfortunately only until 22. During the Christmas season there is also a morning sauna (8-11, until Jan6th 2026), which is an e x c e l l e n t idea

The building is not new (circa 1941), but the rooms are nice and quiet, and the beds seem to be comfortable even at the start side of the price schedule, which must be appreciated fully

Next time two nights so we can walk even a longer trip to swim. The child especially liked the indoor pool

A sunny day with the child Breakfast was great, quality pastries, good coffee. The area was wonderfully peaceful, we also went to Myllyjärvi a short distance away. We were missing peace and sun and it was guaranteed

Hotel is located on a beautiful lake and quite close to the supermarket. The staff were friendly and the room was fine for a basic room, but could have been cleaner

The spa however needs some work, as it is quite worn, especially the shower area. Pizza was great and restaurant staff wonderful

A nice and peaceful hotel to spend your vacation in a peaceful town of Rauma. Easy access to Old Rauma and restaurants nearby

Stayed here for a work trip for three nights and I must say this is one of the best Scandic hotels in Finland, just because of the super friendly staff that takes care of you throughout your stay

An excellent location, spacious room and enough facilities as expected in the hotel. Highly recommendable to every group of travelers to Rauma and its environs.

They do have one multimove rack with different bars and ties to it, but it is rather old and does not function that well. Beds are comfy, rooms are spacious and you have multiple pillows to choose from in your room

The only improvement idea for this hotel is the so called gym (i would call it more like a fitness room), because there is one treadmill, one rowing machine, some dumbells and couple of bars with free weights

We're going back in time, back in time. The restaurant is like going back to the 80s, you will see when you get here as I recommend that you do if staying in Rauma. Dinner and Breakfast are both good

It’s located in the design district which has all the best shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was amazing. I purchased the Helsinki City Card from the front desk

I walked, rode the tram, went on the panoramic city tour and visited many museums

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, but a bit cold. The bathroom was big, but the shower was messy. Very close to restaurants, bars and trains. Breakfast was included with the stay.

There are a couple of nice restaurants within a short walk of the hotel and the main shopping area near Stockmanns is about a 10 minute walk as is the railway station

The staff was friendly and English is commonly spoken. The hotel was quiet with little noise from the hallway or street. There was a small bar with reasonable prices

Self-service check-in, very good breakfast, tram at the door, the room is relatively quiet at night, the staff is also very friendly, and it is 13 kilometers away from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. It is highly recommended.

The best hotel in Oulu I've lived in Oulu and visit it around two times a year, and I can vouch that this is the best hotel in the city. Beautiful location right next to the city center

Their house is a beautiful mansion immersed in one of the immense Finnish forests close to Saimaa lake, but it is easily reachable thanks to the adjacent railroad and the highway, just 10 minutes from the city center of Lappeenranta

The sauna was perfect, the little pool was clean as well. It‘s very quiet, a little bit outside of the main city. The owners are the most friendly people. The sauna got prepared for us, we didn‘t have to do anything

Even coal and firestarters for the barbecue have been prepared. A small rowing boat is available for rent as well. If you‘re looking for a quiet place in Lappeenranta, Salpalinjan Hovi is the place to be

My whole family visited Lappeenranta and all stayed at Salpanlinjan Hovi. 5 year old toddler upfront via telephone was not a problem. The rooms are really nicely renovated and very clean

We visited Salpalinjan Hovi in May and were given a tour of the Salpa Line sights by Anne. She was very knowledgable and friedly. Styled very nicely and with plenty of character

The Hotel itself was nice, clean, and comfy. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We didn't use facilities other than the outside pool. Water was warm, + 27 degrees which was great since the weather wasn't too hot
