The hotel is located downtown and has a private underground parking (14€ per 24hours). There are lots of restaurants, shops and walking streets around. The room was spacious, clean and very quiet

Excellent location in the middle of everything, beautifully renovated (everything looks like new), friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast.

Original Sokos Hotel Royal is situated at the center of Vaasa. The downside is very limited availability of free parking (i. none), upside is a central location from everywhere, including the train station

Breakfast facilities are good, the breakfast itself was OK. Reception/service was friendly, which of course is very much the state at least in the all the hotels I've stayed over the years in Vaasa

Sauna is available at the top floor, but unfortunately only until 22. During the Christmas season there is also a morning sauna (8-11, until Jan6th 2026), which is an e x c e l l e n t idea

The building is not new (circa 1941), but the rooms are nice and quiet, and the beds seem to be comfortable even at the start side of the price schedule, which must be appreciated fully

Nice hotel in the centre of Oulu with walking distance to everywhere. We had a small room for two, bed was 140 cm wide and there was a TV in the room. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying, not a lot of options for vegans

A few tweaks would be good though: it would have been nice to have a kettle for tea/coffe and the bin in a bathroom was broken and it was odd that the cleaners hadn't spotted it

Here for a wedding. The staff was very accommodating, rooms were large and clean. The restaurant was also very good. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The stay was very pleasant. The staff was helpful, breakfast was good, and the in-room sauna was the best.

Accessible room For some reason we got an accessible room, it was big so we didn’t really mind it. However the room got quickly very hot, which can be a problem for those who actually are in need of an accessible room

Nice suite We very much liked our room, although there was a drip from the air conditioning unit that seemed to be damaging a table

The reception as well as the dining area were also very accessible, so I highly recommend this hotel if you are a wheelchair user or simply in need of an accessible accommodation!

Otherwise the room was nice, the bed could be adjusted with a remote control and the bathroom had a showering chair and handles as well as an emergency button

Very simple (not modern) but perfectly clean rooms. Breakfast was excellent! Also nice that hotel has sauna and a pool. Very good location and very nice staff.

Sauna only on from 6pm to 9 pm unfortunately. Was nice with pool. Random construction in hallway started at 8am and was very loud...

A Private Sauna! We booked a room with a private sauna and LOVED it! The room was large and comfortable and will be a highlight of our trip.

Room size is standard size, not particularly large. There is an iron room to wash and dry clothes. The pool and sauna are accessed along 'K' level while the gym is at the annex we stayed at

Breakfast was ok - fresh and many things to chose from

What we noticed and should be better, is the temperature of the pools at the spa. 2 of 3 pool is little bit cold. There is only one pool with very warm water but the other aren't so warm which we did not like that much

Great place for holiday. I love there are 3 option of swimming pools. Breakfast is good arrangement during the pandemic time. Clean dan neat.

Staff and the location of hotel is magical. Also the room is very excellent and comfort, specially bed sheets

What we also did like, is for the dog there was treats, sheet and the drinking bowl which shows that they really care about the people and their pets who are choozen to stay at the Ruissalo Spa Hotel

A hotel in bad need of updating. Especially on hot summer days. Lack of air fans, when there is no air conditioning in the building makes this place a hard place to sleep in

The single rooms are small,particularly the bathrooms but the location, breakfast and friendly, helpful staff more than make up for tha. And there’s a pool and sauna!

Self-service check-in, very good breakfast, tram at the door, the room is relatively quiet at night, the staff is also very friendly, and it is 13 kilometers away from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. It is highly recommended.

Hotel location is superb with shopping mall Just across. Room do not have phone to contact the reception and there is no kettle. Would have to pay 10 euro to rent a kettle which is kind of ridiculous

I was there with our company. Lots of activity options and the guides were fun and professional. Also the dinner was good. Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay for the night.

Hot day in Finland The desk hours were real variable. The blinds had been left open before we checked in and it was a hot day in Finland, The sun was shining in so the room was hot

Breakfast was great! The hotel is situated in nature so very peaceful and perfect when travelling with a dog. The room was comfy and I slept really well.

Conference Center with many rooms and meeting rooms. Restaurant and bars are good with many spaces for meetings and rest. The location offers also accommodation during the week

Very nice place for conferences and official meetings. Pretty secluded location with sea/bay view. Staffs are friendly and services are in the up notch.

At about 30 minutes from helsinki city Center this place is perfect for group sessions

It took a long time to walk with the luggage. The floor was good and the view was great. The location was convenient, a few hundred meters walk to the pedestrian street

The spa pools are excellent, kids reluctant to come out. All staff very pleasant, welcoming and friendly. All public areas constantly cleaned. Hotel complex very near the town, recreational facilities and ski lifts

They upgraded us from a deluxe double to a lovely two room suite, complete with its own sauna, and complementary champagne, red wine and snacks! No ida why, but awesome! The design of everything was very attractive , modern and very functional as well

Jyväskylä has very nice Alvar Aalto museum, Central Finland museum and, nearby in Tikkakoski you will find the Finnish Air Force Museum

Spa department is not that modern anymore, for example there is no cold water pool, but if that isn’t a big deal for you, this is a good place to go and spend a weekend. Vicinity of the sea is a good bonus

Wonderful location, very clean but few amenities and oddly laid out: room 511 was on the second floor and took a labyrinthine path to find it. Pool hours limited and “double bed” means 2 twins jammed together

A wonderful stay. Pleasant staff and the spa was excellent. The rooms could be better soundproofed, as noise from the corridor was quite loud.

Rooms are fair enough. Not every room has a bathtub, but all of them have an iron. Good and tasty breakfasts. Hotel has swimming pool, saunas and gym. Located near to shopping mall.

Our usual family weekend in Helsinki. Tapiola has great access to metro and friends near too. Car parking in underground is recommended, old gate system has finally removed. Breakfast was usual Sokos hotels style

Stayed at the Arctic Light Hotel for 3 nights, 23-25th November 2025. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The staff were attentive, friendly and easy to communicate with in every interaction

Though the decorative interior might be a bit concerning for Asian people who’re not culturally used to this kind of interior, but we’re stunned by the good quality of amenities and the cleanness level of the room
