I already left a comment for the day before since we booked for the night but separately because there was a date error and we were simply offered as the rooms were not the same to pay 10 € more to have a superior room for both nights. The hotel is very comfortable and very well located just walking distance from the Airport and Train. The only downside of the room is the small windows, but in general is new and very well appointed. The breakfast needs some attention as the offering and quality is very basic.

The hotel is literally 5 mins walk from the Nice airport Terminal 1, and there's free train outside of the hotel to take me back and forth to the terminal. That's super convenient for getting ready to fly. The room are big and new, the staff are friendly, and the gym is small but have most that I need, plus a sauna that I can use anytime after workout. It's a perfect layover stop.

Holiday Inn Gare de Lyon was incredible! Our check in/check out process was seamless and the service was top-notch - some of the best I’ve seen while on my travels. This was our favorite hotel during our trip to France. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Although it is further away from the beach than other hotels, it's in a quieter part of Cannes. Good quality for the business trip in Nice.

Perfect location, just 5 minutes walk to Nice airport terminal 1, and within minutes walk to the tram line 2, which goes to the major attractions of the city. Breakfast is very good, room is ample size. Nice is not cheap, especially at peak or shoulder season, so in that regard this hotel is good value when we were there in late August.

The hotel is well located for the train station and the Promenade des Anglais. There's a small unheated pool, which probably gets crowded in high season, as does the jacuzzi, but at least they're there.
