Clean spacious room, comfortable beds and helpful staff

Room was clean. Was put in a room for people that need assiatance so had a wet room. Bit of a pain as did not dry too well. Paid for breakfast on the sunday was very good value for money

Best breakfast included! Fresh squeezed orange machine was self serve, so we had several delicious glasses! We are vegan, and there were plenty of options for us to eat at the buffet. Check in and out was very efficient.

i love la lana but i don’t like how under 18s can’t stay at the pool after 6! I get it if they are being silly and disturbing the peace, but kicking out a peaceful teenager for doing nothing wrong is really bad!

This hotel has an amazing location in the villiage as well as being ski in ski out and having the most helpful guy to fit your ski boots.

After a miserable experience in Lyon in one of the big network hotels, this one was a true relief. A magnificent and completely renovated hotel. It has an elegant and cozy atmosphere. The staff is incredibly attentive, and the breakfast is delicious, featuring local products. My room was very pleasant: chic, comfortable, and with superb bedding. I highly recommend it if you're visiting the Brotteaux district!

Hotel a bit dated. The reception wasn't very professional. The key didn't work. No king-size bed, as specified in the reservation, but two beds pushed together. Doesn't deserve a 4-star rating, but a 3-star rating in my opinion. Otherwise, very decent, fairly clean.

I liked everything, a convenient kitchen corner that can be closed with a curtain, it rained for two days, I watched TV in French with a clear conscience and worked out in the fitness room. And A coffee machine is freely available

I had a great stay at Hotel Charlemagne. The location near Perrache made getting around Lyon really easy, and the staff were warm and helpful throughout my visit. My room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view. The breakfast and cozy atmosphere made it a really enjoyable base.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to Perrache train station. Getting here from Lyon Part-Dieu train station is also super convenient; you can take the T1 tram directly, which takes about 20 minutes. The hotel is located near University Street and has its own parking lot for €15 a day. You can also park on the street outside the hotel and pay at the machine. The room was quiet and comfortable, with a kitchen, a loft, and a small balcony. There's a supermarket nearby, and transportation is convenient.

Single room was very spacious and the hotel is at a perfect location. Has a little cute pool although the water is a bit too cold for winter. Everything was fine but curiously they put up the history of the ground in the hotel corridor which I found quite creepy for solo travelers lol

We stayed at this hotel for only two nights, we were greeted by the NICEST & KINDEST receptionist Marwane. Also, the hotel lends you umbrellas when it’s raining outside which is so cute. The pool was honestly great, I don’t understand all the bad comments about it bahahha we loved it. First I would like to say how wonderful the reception staff were especially Valérie, Théo and Jérémy. We stayed in suite 314 and really enjoyed the reversible AC units that allowed us to be comfortable especially since the balcony windows only had single glazing. The room cleaning was perfect. The Hotel Needs Better Maintenance Despite The room was clean and the housekeeper did a good job, but the overall condition shows that it needs more attention. The walls are scratched and the room could really use a refresh to justify its price. The lift is also very old and almost dirty. The hotel needs to take better care of its facilities.

From check in with Valerie who was more than helpful and friendly, we had a great experience. Room was beautiful with everything you could need. The bar and restaurant were excellent. Overall i would highly recommend this hotel and will return again.

I have been staying there many years, and the proprietors always make me feel at home. The hotel is carved out of a very old building with very modern arty upgrades.

From the moment we arrived through our departure, we felt welcomed and cared for. Charlotte was a great help throughout our stay and gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner. Marcel, the hotel mascot, was a bonus treat. Our room was lovely and the location was fabulous. We couldn’t recommend the Petit Hotel Confidential enough!

A real gem!! This Hotel went FAR beyond expectations- The sauna /spa is extraordinary- a real treat. If you’re driving into the hotel make sure you follow the entrance instructions. The restaurant and bar are “petite” and positively delightful. Can we give a 6th star????

The balcony view was great and the service was good, but the room itself was a bit old. The bed sagged in the middle, and the living room sofa looked quite outdated. The kitchen was functional, but the dishwasher smelled. Overall, it was comfortable and spacious. Chamonix supermarket sells dumplings, which is a nice touch~

I was very satisfied with the hotel I stayed in Chamonix this time. From the balcony, I could see the snow-capped mountains, the Aiguille du Midi, and Mont Blanc up close. Stayed for 6 nights, with only one cleaning service. The good thing is that the two-bedroom apartment is relatively large, with a nice view. You can see the snow-capped mountains as soon as you open the door.

It is right next to a wide plateau where kids can run and play. Not far from the town area where you can buy and eat. 10-15 mins to the train station (Mer de Glace) and Gondola place to Aiguille du Midi. Staffs were VERY kind. Enjoyed our stay here. Free parking available.

Excellent stay. I was only there one night unfortunately but after walking 10 km to watch the European cycling championships I was grateful for the very comfortable bed and excellent pillows. Hotel was good, close to public transport and plenty of bars and restaurants. Unfortunately we were in the ‘Cinema Room’, which had no external windows. We couldn’t get fresh air into the room and the aircon wasn’t enough to get rid of the humid air after showers. Also, there was no fridge in the room - you had to leave any food items with the concierge on the ground floor
