1. The hotel's location is fairly convenient. There's a metro station right across the street and a bus stop not far from the entrance. However, all public transport options require transfers to get to the city center. (A taxi to the city center costs 20 Euros, Disneyland 40 Euros, and Charles de Gaulle Airport 50 Euros). Taxis are readily available.
2. The hotel breakfast offered limited options, with just simple bread, cheese, ham, and salad, so I only ate it once and skipped it the next day.
3. The room was very clean, and the staff cleaned it daily.
Overall, the price matches what you get.

Really enjoyed the stay! The buffet breakfast was tasty with lots of choices — definitely worth getting up for. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. The room was a good size, clean, and quiet — very comfortable overall.
Even though the hotel isn’t right next to tourist spots, the transport is really convenient. There are bus stops and a metro station nearby, so it’s easy to get around. The neighbourhood feels safe and peaceful, kind of like a residential area, and the hotel itself feels very secure too.
Only thing I’d improve is adding some tissues in the room — there’s only toilet paper right now. Other than that, it’s great value for money, comfy and safe. I’d definitely stay here again!

Terrible service and the breakfast was awful! The room was tiny, and I booked a twin but got a double bed instead. From 7 AM onwards, there was constant noise outside my window, sounded like construction or something – it was unbearable. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in Europe.

Amazing value for money! It's a 30-euro taxi ride to the Louvre for six people, which is totally acceptable given the distance. Very convenient! The front desk staff were also lovely and incredibly welcoming. And the breakfast pastries were delicious!

Good and safe location near Metro 7 and 14, about 10 minutes walk to China Town. Fresh fruits provided at breakfast and hot drinks throughout the day. Room is okay for short stays

Breakfast was great, really tasty. There weren't many hot dishes, but there was a good variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. They even had chia seed coconut milk, pre-cut oranges and grapefruits, and the croissants were delicious too. Everything else was pretty good, but the hot water took ages to come on, and it was easy to accidentally turn it cold again. Plus, the water pressure was really low, which was a bit frustrating when trying to wash my hair – I just had to make do.

The hotel's location is unbeatable; it's right in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere. There's a bus stop just 50 meters away, and the Metro Line 7 is 200 meters away, with Line 14 just 400 meters further, offering direct access to the Louvre. The area also feels relatively safe; I often returned to the hotel around 10 PM and never felt uneasy walking at night.

The room itself is quite spacious, definitely larger than the one I had previously near the Pantheon. There was plenty of space to fully open my suitcase without it getting in the way.

However, there were definitely some downsides worth mentioning:

1. The shower area in the bathroom was quite slippery. I specifically chose this hotel because it didn't have a bathtub, but I nearly had an accident nonetheless. You really need to be careful not to slip while showering. Bringing a pair of non-slip slippers might be a good idea.
2. The room only provided toilet paper, no facial tissues. After washing my hands, I had to use a large towel to dry them.
3. The hairdryer's power was very weak, though I find this to be a common issue in many European hotels. Since I can't change it, I brought my own powerful, foldable hairdryer.
4. Breakfast was initially quite varied, but the daily offerings were a bit inconsistent. On the first day, everything seemed normal. On the second day, scrambled eggs were replaced with steamed potatoes. While there were hard-boiled eggs as an alternative, it was still a bit inconvenient. On the third day, I went down early at 6:40 AM, only to find that many items hadn't even been set out yet, and yes, no scrambled eggs. On the fourth day, there were scrambled eggs, but they were quickly eaten by other guests and not refilled. To make matters worse, there were live flies and sand in the vegetables, which completely ruined my breakfast experience. Over my four-night stay, breakfast got progressively worse each day.

First off, the address is completely wrong. This 'Shangpin Hotel' isn't the one at Italy Square; it's at least a 24-minute walk away, quite far. Secondly, apart from one friendly female staff member with glasses at the front desk, the others were not very welcoming towards non-locals. On the evening of the 20th, the Black front desk staff made me wait maliciously for 10 minutes, only processing my check-in after I gestured several times. Additionally, the room was very basic, with no kettle or complimentary water. The hotel towels were already blackened, and the hot water had no thermostat – it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. Soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear the toilet flushing upstairs. Only the breakfast was decent, but it was the same every day, so it's only tolerable for a two-day stay at most. The surrounding buildings and roads are under renovation, leading to noise starting around 7:00 AM.

I was quite satisfied with my stay, so I extended it for a few more days. The location is super convenient with a subway, bus stop, and light rail nearby! There are also plenty of supermarkets around. It's really easy to get anywhere from here, making it perfect for those wanting to explore Paris in depth!
