Hotel L de Lutece - Notre-Dame in Paris

This is a fantastic little hotel in a most terrific location, very near to Notre Dame and on the sweet Ile de St Louis. Great restaurants nearby, access to trains, buses, Metro. The staff are all so kind and helpful. The room was small but perfectly appointed, clean with excellent bed and linens. We would stay here again and recommend this place so highly!

Possibly the best location I've ever stayed in Paris; just by Notre Dame, you could hear 'the bells' every morning. We walked to all the sights including Le Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Place des Vosges and Le Marais - we even found the house where Jim Morrison of 'The Doors' met his maker!
Very pretty entrance and lounge with fire. The concierge team was very helpful.
We had a top floor room which did mean using the very small lift a lot but gave great views over the Paris skyline.
Lovely touches and amenities like coffee machine in the room, beds made every day, afternoon tea and cake in the lounge. You can leave your baggage after checkout prior to your journey home. The area has a lot of great eateries so you can sample delicious crepes and galettes. The hotel is very old - we had a beamed ceiling in the room - and is a boutique style so all rooms and access areas are small compared to larger modern hotel chains but that's part of the charm.

It feels like living in the Life Hotel! I really want to come back to Paris and stay longer if I have the chance!
1. The accommodation environment is very good, the first floor and the room design are very elegant and French. From the moment you enter the hotel to the room, the hygiene and aesthetics are excellent. I even took some photos of the lounge area on the first floor, hoping to use it as a reference for future house renovations. The surprise is that the hotel also provides disposable slippers.
2. The service was excellent. I met 4 service staff in total, and everyone was very patient and nice. I wrote an email to ask questions in advance, and the hotel replied immediately, which was really great!
3. The breakfast was excellent. I saw the reviews saying it was not a buffet, so I was a little hesitant and did not choose the breakfast included. I went out late on the first day so I tried it. Although the hotel has set up several breakfast styles in advance, you can add more according to your needs, which is better than a buffet! There are refreshments on the first floor that can be enjoyed at any time.
4. The surrounding environment is very good. It is very close to the Seine River, Notre Dame de Paris and the Louvre. The architecture on the island is very beautiful and quiet. The shop windows downstairs are also very beautiful. I highly recommend you to walk around the island. There are also many restaurants on the island with a score of 4.5 or above.
5. The only drawback is that the heating is a bit strong... I was woken up by the heat in the morning, hahaha.

The location is very advantageous. It is on the island in the center of Paris. The hotel is an old building from the 16th century and is very stylish. Near the hotel, there are cafes, restaurants, and small shops, which interpret the streets of Paris. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic and proactive, and the hotel is great value for money.

It's not close to the subway station, but the hotel's location is very good. The facilities, environment and service are also very good.

Nice location

The best location of a hotel in Paris. Quiet island, architecturally beautiful, between the Latin Quarter and the Marais, 150 meters from Notre Dame. You sleep very well and the hotel has just been tastefully renovated.
This area is better than both the Louvre and Opera, it is much more authentic

Great place. Great location! White, fluffy towels and robes! New plumbing in the bathroom, and a very nice room design!

Great hotel, WE stayed here for three nights, and we had a room on the last floor (6th) with a nice view on the rooftops. Room was small but very cosy. No noises, we could sleep very well. Considering I am 1.9m tall, the bed was of an appropriate size and comfortable. The bathroom was new and clean. There was a niche to put our clothes - rather small indeed but ok for a WE. The hotel is decorated with a very good taste. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was also good, with service at the table (no buffet). All the personnel was really friendly and helpful. Great experience also because the location is perfect and central.
