Merryl Hotel in Paris

I paid around 480 euros for 2 nights last year !! With this price i thought i will have a good experience …

Unfortunatly the location is a disaster. Yes the transportation is good but the neighborhood is terrible. The room smelled yukkk and very very small. Why did u take 225Eur/night while others paid 80 euro only in next rooms ???

I was there last year but im writing now because i went to another hotel this year in same time of year and it was close to Champs Elysees with lower priceee and much more clean rooms.

I know u cant change the neighborhood but u should not be this much expensive !!!

I had a very mixed experience at this hotel, and unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives.

On the positive side, the room itself was mostly clean, the bedsheets and towels were fresh, and the staff was genuinely very friendly. The location is relatively central, so you can get to many places quickly.

However, that’s where the positives end. The walls are dirty and clearly need repainting, and the doors have stains. The biggest deal-breaker is the bathroom: it absolutely reeks, making it almost unbearable to use. There’s no mat on the floor, and the cheap laminate flooring feels sticky, with grime in the corners and joints.

Although the location is central, the surrounding area feels unsafe, especially at night. There are many homeless people around, some intoxicated, selling cigarettes and possibly other things on the street, which makes it feel very uncomfortable and not at all safe. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone unless you have absolutely no other choice. I’d give it one star out of five, and even that feels generous. It’s a definite no-go.

This place has no wifi connection. For immediate need, they will keep telling there is but there is none.
