Paris, 35 Rue de Cîteaux, 12th arrondissement-Reuilly (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The property is genuinely a 10-minute walk from the train station. As for cleanliness, it's impeccable.
Overall, it was clean and the location was good, not far from Gare de Lyon. However, if you have a lot of luggage, I recommend taking a taxi. The soundproofing isn't great, but it wasn't terribly uncomfortable!
Negative points:
Soundproofing is insufficient: doors slam and noise travels easily. This is even more surprising given that we were in a disabled-friendly room on the ground floor, with no direct neighbors or elevator nearby.
Points for improvement:
A curtain on the window facing the inner courtyard would be necessary to preserve privacy. The room would also benefit from being equipped with a kettle...
Nice room, very comfortable bed
Could be better, but good enough for 1 night
Small room....clean and bright....best location....near market and many good restaurants within walking distance.

The room was a bit small and had little space for putting things. No cabinet. However, it was quiet and clean, and the bathroom and the separate toilet had been recently renovated. The graffiti design would not have been necessary for our taste. Breakfast was simple but good enough for us. The service was very kind, too.
Gaston is a nice place for a short stay — great location and easy to get around, with lots of cafes and public transport nearby. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which made it fine for a night or two.
That said, the room was a bit small and didn’t have much space to put things. There was no cabinet or proper storage, so it might not be ideal for a longer stay or if you're traveling...
Booked this hotel and had hopes that it would be a good hotel given the majority of the reviews. The hotel is very worn down, the rooms weren’t as big as they look in the pictures, we were 2 people and we couldnt open 2 suitcases at the same time, one had to be closed to make room for the other. The bed sheets were stained the first night and they gave us bed sheets to change them ourselves. They didn...
We had a lovely stay at he hotel, which is in a lovely neighbourhood. It is excellent value, tastefully decorated and rooms were clean. We were slightly disappointed to be given a room at the back without a view and overlooked by flats. Previously, we have been given rooms at the front, which overlook the picturesque and leafy avenue. Breakfast items were fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly...
Great area, could do with a fridge & kettle though.
A great stay 😍🤩 the staff were great and attentive. Very quiet hotel with a beautiful view and an ideal location for a short stay in Paris (super nice restaurants nearby). The neighborhood is also quiet, even late at night.

The hotel needs to make small changes in order to receive excellent review. The only issue for us was the breakfast and the bed.
Small and perfect of an in and out stay. The location is near the metro and shopping. I walked everywhere.
Very good location, pleasant Paris style and super kind staff. To underline: the excellent quality of food and a nice breakfast room. To improve: the technical support in the conference room.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and premises were clean. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We loved having a glass of wine in the evenings in the sitting area. Thank you Tilsitt Etoile for a wonderful stay.
Excellent location, just 4 minutes walk from the closest metro entrance (Charles de Gaulle Etoile), the hotel is clean, the breakfast is very good, the staff is polite and helpful.
This place is very neat. We enjoyed it very much, because we were looking for a nice hotel near Etoile, and this hotel is placed very close. Everything, what was written in comments is true... Small but very nice room, very good and sufficient breakfast, nice people at the reception, Kusmi tea, L'Occitane... And for the price, it's just perfect

Really good room, comes with everything you need, the mini fridge was super super handy, really modern. Staff were lovely throughout our stay. Easy access to metro which takes about 10-15 mins into centre near Eiffel Tower. Only downside is that our room got quite hot, with the air con only going as low as 16°C so had to have the window open which is when you could hear noise of the metro and cars...
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is good and safe, just a few steps from the metro. From the moment you step into the lobby, you feel a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
The staff were always courteous and helpful, making the experience even more pleasant. My room was clean, well-kept, and comfortable. The bed was really cozy, although a bit short for me 😂.
The only minor downsides...
It was very sandy in the room, so I assume they cleaned the room with their personal shoes on. Not very clean
The showers had all the amenities but the hairdryer was very weird.. it comes as a hose?
The chair in front of the TV was very inconvenient because it kept blocking the walkway.
Overall was ok because of the location
Great location! It's safe and clean, and the staff are very helpful.
The room was a bit small but clean. The front desk staff were very nice; they allowed us to check in early since the room was already cleaned. There are restaurants and bakeries next to the hotel, and the subway station is just across the street, which is very convenient. Recommended.

Such a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful, well-appointed room in a very convenient area. The room was very well sound-proofed and clearly had been very recently renovated. Close to Metro 5 like 1 min walking distance
I loved my stay. The service was excellent and It’s right next to the metro. It’s a small room but in Paris people are mostly just using a hotel to sleep. Great value!!
The staff were always very helpful, the location was perfect for my needs and the rooms were so clean and fun deco. And having AC in summer was exceptional .

Nice one .
I liked the place ,and the staff was kind.
What a pleasure to have stayed at the Hotel Glasgow Monceau! The breakfast is a real treat, with homemade cakes and absolutely delicious French toast. A real favorite! The beds are super comfortable, you sleep like a baby. The hotel really has everything you need to feel comfortable and relaxed. I definitely recommend it for a stay in Paris.
The bathroom was tiny and the hot water wasn't hot at all. Terrible.
The staff at the counter were very friendly. Although the elevator was tiny, the breakfast was excellent. The location was superb, with many tourists visiting in the evenings because it was very convenient for eating and staying. There was also a large shopping mall nearby. My son even bought me roses downstairs, which was very heartwarming!

Our first trip to Paris was truly special, thanks to Hotel Palm. From the warm welcome at reception to the hotel’s fantastic location — perfect for exploring the city on foot — everything felt easy and enjoyable.
What made it unforgettable was the view from our room.
Excellent breakfasts. Warm room.
This stay was amazing. The room is clean and comfortable, and the bedding is soft. The service staff is warm and thoughtful, the facilities are complete and run well, the price-performance ratio is very high, and it is worth recommending.
A hotel that exceeded expectations!
Simple but clean, comfortable, where everything worked (water pressure and temperature, comfortable and easily adjustable air temperature, quiet, good breakfast, pleasant staff). It has a great location (walking distance to the opera) and super value for money.
Although the room is small, it is clean and sanitary, with plenty of hot water, an electric heater and a powerful hair dryer. There is a bus not far from the hotel entrance, making travel convenient. It takes 13 minutes to walk to Gare du Nord and 15 minutes to walk to Gare de l'Est.

This review is from a Malaysian Chinese woman, 20+, 170cm, size M.😆
If you're on a budget but it's your first time in France and you're worried about safety, read this.
Pros:
1. Since it's a hotel, housekeeping cleans daily. At the very least, the trash and towels are replaced every day. I stayed for 7 nights, and if I had stayed in an Airbnb, the trash would probably have piled up. So, this is...
Very disappointing stay.
The cleanliness of this hotel is a serious concern. During our stay, the room already felt poorly maintained and not properly cleaned. More importantly, after returning home, my friend developed red bites all over their body and had to visit a hospital. The doctor confirmed that the bites were caused by bed bugs, which is completely unacceptable and poses a direct health risk...
Everything was fine. I would definitely stay here again. They should really improve the cleanliness of the room floors, though.
This place is not a hotel, but it offers very good value for the price. The location is convenient, close to the train station and easy to get around.
The room was clean and well maintained. The reception staff were helpful and provided good service throughout the stay. Check-in and communication were smooth.
Overall, it’s a practical and comfortable place to stay, especially considering the price...
Location was convenient for both: Gare de Nord, Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris and continued walk all the way to Eiffel Tower
Hotel offered modern and clean rooms. Reviews that say it is for slim people are accurate, but since we are slim - it worked fine for us :)
Noise insulation was pretty much absent (from inside and outside), but if you are tired after full day of exploring Paris - you just fall...
The room was quite compact, and cleanliness was only average. The elevator was also incredibly tiny; two people with bags could barely fit inside. Even with bags stacked, it was a real squeeze for three people. The location was decent.

The staff is charming, helpful, helpful in everything, cozy rooms and great location!
It is a good service and the rooms smells very good and it’s clean. And the hotel is near to many shops places and restaurants.
Very friendly staff, the rooms are very cozy, extremely small from what I'm used to but nice... though there was a smell as we first arrived dissipates after some time.
This was the second time that I stayed at this hotel and each time the same gentleman was at the desk, prompt to help, generous in his responses and offers of help, and polite but not patronizing. The rest of the staff was great, too. Granted, unlike some, I do speak French and was polite to them, but their readiness to offer whatever I needed was impressive still.
The first time, I had come with...
The hotel is a perfect place for visiting Paris attractions. The metro 🚇 is a brief walk away and anywhere in the city is within your reach for negligible cost. The staff are friendly and helpful to, breakfast was a fresh continental every morning with plenty to go around. The rooms are pleasantly warm and great beds, whilst the bathroom was compact it was a delight too.
Very handy for metro. Staff very friendly and happy to help. Supermarket next door and some Parisian bars nearby. Ideal for what we wanted. Comfy beds and pillows. Could wipe over the skirting boards and fan in bathroom sometime soon! On the whole good price for Paris.

The whole hotel gives people a very simple feeling, which is why it is cheaper than other hotels nearby. In fact, you can find more comfortable hotels nearby by spending only 100 more.
Overall, it's ok, transport accessibility is good. We checked in on the first floor (2nd floor by Russian standards). In the morning, the kitchen smells come from the hood. The room is chalky, but for Paris, where cafes have tiny tables, this is apparently the norm. Overall, a good hotel. It was quiet outside. By Uber, 12-15€ to the sights
The room and bathroom are small, but fortunately they are relatively clean. There is a subway in about 5 minutes' walk, which is quite convenient. The elevator is in the middle of each floor. If you have large luggage that needs to be carried half a floor, please choose carefully.
Service is so great ~and the reception are all so kind and friendly and helpful.Of course the room is small hard to go around. But due to its price, you know. The location also tourism friendly
Beautiful hotel, in a good area with friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again.
The room is very small, in the same Parisian style as always, but the waiters are very nice and the location is very good. You can walk a kilometer or two to the Galeries Lafayette and the Paris Opera House.

For easy access to airport transfer, metro, shops and restaurants, this is one of the best hotels at the best price.
Great location, good amenities. Bit expensive and small but for the area probably the best option.
Delicious kebab next door.
Small room with an okay bed, but the central location and quality toiletries made it a great base for a weekend in Paris
Great location. Right behind Gallery Lafayette 7 min walk to Oprah Garnier 22 min walk to Louvre Museum. The bathroom was fully renovated very clean and modern looking. We had a good stay overall. The room was small, as expected, but clean. Soundproofing was weak, so we often heard doors, voices, and the elevator early in the morning. 200 euros per night, expensive because it was a last-minute booking. The sanitation was terrible. There were bugs in the toilet. Very expensive, no service at all. But that's just how it is in France. Don't expect service.
It was a genuinely lovely property within easy reach of several metro stations. It was easy to reach the big attractions within 20mins. It was also quiet and away from the massive crowds. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfy. I will go back.
A soon as we arrived, staff made us feel welcome.
A good hotel for somewhere to sleep.

It's just one stop away from Saint-Germain-des-Prés (although it's only a 3-4 minute walk), where you'll find cafes frequented by Sartre and Picasso, and is close to Odéon station, making it a convenient yet quiet location.
The hotel was generally clean, the staff were all friendly, and it had a homey atmosphere where it was easy to ask for help.
Considering the location and price, I think this is...
The hotel was lovely and very well located. The staff's attention was wonderful. We would surely return in our future visit to Paris.
Overpriced for what you get. For the price there should be a mini fridge and larger bedside tables. Soundproofing is not good, the pipes are loud enough to wake you up and you can hear people talking in other rooms. Weird payment authorization process before checkin, not done at other hotels. WiFi is excellent and there are plenty of outlets by the bed. Front desk staff could be nicer.
The room is very small. There are no disposable items such as slippers and toothbrushes. You have to give the key to the front desk when you leave the hotel and pick it up when you return to the hotel.
I do not normally leave reviews, but the people at this hotel were so nice, that I had to. Once I made my reservation, I received an email asking me what I would be interested in while I was in Paris. They responded and sent me a list of places to consider. Once I was there, the gentleman at the front desk was amazingly kind. On top of that, the location was wonderful as well.
The hotel room is super small. Fortunately, our suitcases are open, otherwise they can't fit in. Maybe the price of the room in the Left Bank is more expensive, it feels a bit not worth it. The old gentleman at the front desk of the hotel is very good. The location of the hotel is good, there are two subway stations nearby, and supermarkets for food and drinks are close.

We stayed for two nights in a family room of 5. The location is nice and close to Montmarte. However there are simple things that can be improved. They give us a free upgrade to suite. It’s super near to the train station called dupleix. Nearby there is a fruit shop, a very nice bakery shop, a meat shop, a butter with cheese shop, and pharmacies. I bet there is Asian restaurant as well. Fascinating location with affordable price. They also give free storage for luggage as well.
The location of this hotel is really good just few mins walking distance from the metro station, surrounded with shops and restaurants, but the room is small, otherwise everything is ok.
The room is genuinely quite small and very basic. For this location and price, that's pretty much what you can expect. If you're here for tourism, spending all day out and just needing a place to sleep at night, it's barely acceptable. But forget about trying to live or relax in the room; there's not even a table, which makes eating difficult.

The room is small but clean and serviced every day. The bed is comfortable. Lighting of the room can be improved. The buffet breakfast is good and plentiful. Free water, tea and coffee are provided in the lobby. The best thing of the hotel is its proximity to the metro station. I will consider staying there again.
Excellent location: just outside Metro station. Also bus terminus of #87is nearby which can ride 10 minutes to Gare de Lyon.
Excellent breakfast with bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese, ham and pastries.

Room is air conditioned, good hot shower.
Very compact room with bathroom door that’s stuck by the bed and cannot properly open. No bin in the living room, no tissue provided.
