Paris, 5 Cité Bergère, 9th arrondissement-Opera (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Very well located, very close to the metro, shops and renowned restaurants
The room is new, everything was clean. There are two metro lines nearby, very convenient location. The room has everything you need, the staff is polite.
Im a fussy man with high expectations. This hotel was absolutely spot on. You can clearly see it has been recently renovated and the room was beautiful with a quint little balcony. It was a tad hot but that would most likely not be a problem for most. I slept with the window open and slept soundly all night. The room was clean and tidy, with house keeping coming each day to freshen up the place....
The central wonderful location with the restaurants and shops around, lovely stuff and tasty breakfast, highly recommended
Hotel decoration, I live next door, great paint smell, no hot shower for the first couple of days, no exhaust in the toilet, very noisy decoration on weekdays
Perfect location and breakfast. Service is very good and people are very kind. Furiniture is a bit old but towels are changed every day.

Not great, carpet dirty. Very small room
outdated From photos it looks fresh and bright. Reality exact opposite. Very outdated feel overall.
Convenient location, next to Republic Square, many subway stations, and many restaurants nearby. The elevator is a bit small and can only accommodate one or two people. Breakfast bread, the single bed is relatively small.
Ctrip did not give the hotel the collection fee in time, which resulted in the hotel deducting the money again on site and no refund. This is a huge pitfall and needs Ctrip to handle it. I am complaining here! Bad review!
Quiet corner, lots of food around! Tucked in a corner near Place de la République means it’s quiet enough to rest while near the subways and buses. There’s a water dispenser for drinking in the lobby. Glad I brought my own bottle. Plenty of eats around. Staff are helpful!

Very nice familiar hotel and very kind staff. Nice garden for warmer weather. Little bit old style but nice room. We like it 😊 Good connection with bus and metro lines so everyone can skip the taxi if can do a short walk from the station(s). We eat a very good and very delicious breakfast in every morning with gluten-free option too. So thank you for everything! We recommend this hotel.
This hotel is full of charm and located in a central and walkable part of Paris. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Notre Dame and roughly a 20-minute metro ride to many other major sights, with plenty of cafés and restaurants just a few steps away. I stayed here while visiting family in Paris and enjoyed my time. The building itself is a classic Left Bank Parisian townhouse, with soft pastel tones and...
One of the most charming hotels we've ever stayed in. The location is unique, in the heart of the lively 5th arrondissement. Surrounded by some nice restaurants and cafes, yet very quiet, nestled in a courtyard that resembles a green oasis. The decor is simple but lovingly designed. The staff is exceptionally attentive and always friendly. Excellent public transport connections – highly recommended
We absolutely loved our stay here during our honeymoon!! The rooms are nestled in a garden terrace with a lovely little view. It’s quiet at night but you can still go out on the town and there’s plenty in the area to enjoy. The staff members were lovely, especially Chloe who made Gideon and I feel very welcome during our stay. I felt the beds were super comfy with very soft sheets and we slept great...
We had a group of 6 people and stayed in 3 rooms. The rooms were SO CUTE. They were clean & the beds were comfortable. The location is 10/10. Close to a lot of bars and restaurants but you don't hear any of that when you're inside the room. The hotel is tucked away in a beautiful garden. Our reservation includes breakfast and it was delicious. The staff was super friendly and even gave us an extra...
Unbeatable location. Emily was great during our stay. She helped us with our upgrade and even helped carrying our bags, always friendly and sweet, shout-out to her. Rooms are beautify decorated. It’s what you expect of a Paris hotel. Walking distance from bars, restaurants and the Pantheon. 10-15 min drive to main attractions like Notre-Dame. I will stay in this hotel every time I’m in Paris.

Convenient, near McDonald's, KFC. Clean, comfortable, small room, similar to a hotel in Japan. Good service staff, helped book a taxi to the airport because I had to leave at 6 a.m.
Very good location, close to shopping areas, shops, restaurants, convenient transportation. The only downside is that the elevator needs to be improved.
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for your hospitality over a long period of six days. The station is right in front of the hotel, so it's easily accessible!
It's conveniently located near the station, and the rooms are clean. There were some disappointing aspects, such as only one bottle of water for two people staying for three nights, no refills of instant coffee, and hair left in the bath.
Good establishment and room but very poorly soundproofed People talking loudly in the hallway But nice shower room and bedroom
Reception a little cold, but a renovated room overlooking a quiet courtyard and a superb bathroom

We had a fantastic stay in a quadruple room. Family of four was very comfortable. I can’t vouch for other rooms but our quad room was spacious. Bathroom was also big with two showers/sinks and a tub and it was modern and very clean. We came from another hotel where we had a tiny shoebox room and we were so surprised at our spacious quad room at Le Royal. We didn’t get a view- it was of the inner...
Experience based on a 4-day stay at Hotel Le Royal. This was a great place to spend a few days in Paris. Very cozy, clean, and comfortable accommodation. The reception desk staff were helpful and supportive – there was a slight language barrier with English, but that’s understandable in France. Breakfast was decent, although I would say slightly below (this is 3* hotel) average by European standards...
This Hotel is Fabulous. Me and my girlfriend stayed here from Tuesday to Saturday and really enjoyed our stay. We arrived to a very nice woman at the desk who helped us out and helped us to get checked in. We then went into our room and it was spotless :) Breakfast is lovely too no fry up but you won’t get this unless you spend a fortune at a 5 Star hotel. The pastries we had and for breakfast were...
What a pleasant stay at this hotel! The bedroom was a good size (especially for Paris standards), the bathroom was large and clean, and the location was great, with many underground stations and plenty of restaurants nearby. I’ve been to Paris many times, and this is the first hotel I can say I would go back to.
Excellent hotel, conveniently located, metro is within walking distance. The room is very clean, the hotel has a pleasant smell and very polite and responsive staff. At breakfast there was everything to eat a hearty meal and go for a walk. Perhaps someone will think that the room is small, but we were satisfied with everything, fresh bed linen, soft pillows, a heavy blanket, and also many white towels...
I recently stayed at this hotel with a group of students from the American School of Bahrain, and it was an exceptional experience. The cleanliness was impeccable, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Everything exceeded our expectations. I will definitely choose this hotel again whenever I return to Paris. Highly recommended!

Some experiences: 1. Bath tub jammed, hair not cleaned we end up cleaning by ourselves. 2. The next date, we asked another front desk employee and said, just display the tag.... 3. Luggage could not...
Miss the train at night. It's better than staying at the station. The room is small and smelly. It is not far from Gare de Lyon.
Easy to find and just round the corner from our main train station. Fresh filtered drinking water, clean and compact rooms with a good selection of breakfast ideas. Nice tidy outdoor gardens for a central location.
The location was very convenient since we were catching a train to Switzerland. Even though it’s by the street we barely heard any noise and slept like a baby. The family room was not spacious but the layout was great. The breakfast was surprisingly good and the staffs were so helpful. Especially Anita, she’s been very friendly! We would def recommend for those who need to catch a train!

Location is very good and close to metro. And the stuffs are very nice. However, I booked a room for three people and a room for two people. Double room is very clean and warm with heating. The hotel features a great modern atmosphere and a very professional staff. The parking garage is a major convenience, offering easy access and a comfortable layout. On the downside, the room is quite small and the soundproofing could be better, as you can sometimes hear the shower from the next door.
We stayed here for 2 night while visiting Paris. The room very small but nice and had everything we needed. Stayed here before 15 years ago. They have completely redone the inside. It’s beautiful! Everything was perfect. We loved the bar. Our room was spacious and clean. A must stay!
The hotel is in a great location. My room was at the front of the hotel which made it noisy unfortunately, I also had noisy neighbours on both sides of my room (not the hotels fault but very annoying) I didn’t have a full wardrobe, just hanging space for shirts not dresses which was annoying. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains were great blackouts, shame they didn’t block out the noise....
The place is very cozy and tidy. Everything is sufficiently provided in the room. They also provided free drinks and snacks in the lobby. The location is good where is very near to many restaurants and near to the metro station.
very good! I will choose this hotel next time I go to Paris!

The staff were very friendly and hardworking.
The hotel is conveniently located for tourists, close to the metro. Friendly staff The rooms are very small—you can't fit two suitcases at once, but if you're only staying for a short time and only coming back to sleep, it's generally okay.
The hotel is conveniently located near Metro Line 9, just a short five-minute walk away. Although it’s slightly outside the downtown area, the same metro line provides direct access to popular destinations like Lafayette, Trocadéro, and several other attractions we wanted to visit—so getting around was easy and never felt like a hassle. The room was small (given the size and price), but the service was excellent. The receptionist was a Chinese-speaking young woman who was incredibly helpful. Great hotel to stay in Paris. Friendly & helpfull staaf, receptionist & waitress during breakfast. Very good location , can see Gare du Lyon from hotel. , its very near. There are 2 buses to Eiffel or Trocadero from bus stop near hotel👍👍❤️
A clean, comfortable hotel. Very convenient transportation access: a 1-minute walk to the metro and a 2-minute walk to the train station. The room needs a kettle and a refrigerator (but that's not a big deal). Perfect for a couple of nights.
Great location for an overnight stay to catch a train from Gare de Lyon. Room #34 had a king-sized bed, and an extremely compact bathroom with shower, toilet, hand basin and electric towel rail...very clean, bright and great for what we needed...24h front desk, breakfast available as a supplement. We left too early to try it out.

Good location near the Arc de Triomphe and the metro station. Nothing special besides that. The next building is under renovation, so the window view is blocked and you can hear the workers talking. We kept the curtains closed for privacy, but it didn’t bother us since we were only in the hotel at night.
The hotel is in a very good location, very close to the Arc de Triomphe. The hotel is not big, in a classical French house. There is a piano in the small hotel lobby. Great hotel with comfortable rooms. Beds are small but manageable. Check-in staff was short on English language but pleasant enough.
First time to Paris in June. It was a fun experience and staying here made it easy. Rooms cramped a bit but we really didn’t mind since we were always out after breakfast. Front desk was helpful in finding things to do and places to eat that were more for locals. I’m sure transportation is easy from anywhere but had a station just up the road where we caught every line needed.
The view from our room was wonderful. The hotel's location is fantastic. It's within walking distance of various transportation routes, and there are many excellent restaurants nearby.
