This hotel is in an excellent location- a 15 minute walk from Gare du Nord and 40 to Champs elysees if you wish to walk and take in the atmosphere! Rooms are fine, no kettle but you’re hardly in them. Beds comfy. Staff on 24 hr reception are so helpful- have stayed here twice and recommended.

The hotel's elevator is incredibly small, barely fitting one person and a small piece of luggage. You often have to queue, so try to go early. Anyone a bit on the larger side probably wouldn't fit. Breakfast was also very limited, but there were a lot of local Chinese guests.

This is highly recommended for its size (we are a family of 2 adults and 2 small kids). It is located at a street that has both restaurants and supermarkets and within 10 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. The bathtub was an added bonus too!

The location was decent (very close to the subway station, near the East Railway Station), but there were a lot of Black people there, so I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're traveling alone. I was prepared for it being Montmartre, but the slope was quite steep, so if you're rolling a suitcase, I recommend taking the bus. At the entrance, there were free drinks and snacks available for you to enjoy in your room, which was a nice service. Perfect location, friendly staff, great rooms. It can be a bit noisy during the night but it didn't really disturb our sleep or bother us. Wifi is also not the best, but we were only at the hotel to sleep so it wasn't a big deal. For us the pros completely outweighed the cons and we would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Paris.

I have just stayed there from September 17 to 27, 2025. Good location and easy for taking a metro. I got a nice room 602 view a wonderful view of the Sacred Coeur. I stayed here in September with my wife for a city break,we picked this hotel for the location, and we where not disappointed right by a large square with plenty of shops and restaurants. The Meto was just out side the hotel and you could get anywhere in paris from here.The staff on the hotel reception where really helpful and polite. The room was nice ,clean and spacious.

The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities are showing their age, but the location is excellent! The hotel hallways are quite dim. It's about a 30-minute drive from central Paris. Breakfast is very basic. Rooms are on the second floor and up, so you'll have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs as the elevator is really tiny.

The room was a bit small, making it hard to open a large suitcase. However, the bathroom was spacious enough with a separate shower and toilet in its own cubicle. The whole hotel had a slightly odd smell that some might find a bit pungent. On the positive side, the service was good and the room was cleaned daily.

I've had two stays at Hotel Mistral now, one with my family and another on my own. I was extremely satisfied with its prime location and excellent service, and I believe it's perfectly suited for solo travelers.
