Excellent and great value hotel in a fantastic location just 10 or so minutes away from the train station (for day trips to surrounding towns) and the sea and about 15 minutes away from the fantastic old town with its excellent restaurants and beautiful architecture

This hotel is 10min walk from the beach area and approximately 10 to 20 min walking to lots of restaurants and Old Nice. Check in was great, it's 230pm but we got our room at 2pm

The hotel's excellent location, between the train station and the beach, is very convenient. Check-in was quick, the Wi-Fi was excellent, and the breakfasts were delicious.

We had and amazing stay at the hotel. It is walking distance from the beach, old town and very accessible to the train station.

You can also borrow beach parasols and mats for free. Hotel staff were very helpful and polite as well

There is no fridge in the room. There is a water kettle but they didn't have any coffee available in the room. Since I'm a coffee drinker, I bought a small container of instant coffee from the local grocery

Pros: Great location, it's near to the Gare Theirs tram stop and Nice-Ville train station. Decent rooms with a fairly big bathroom. Free bottled water available in the cafe downstairs for guests

The hotel is very close to the train station, making it super convenient to take the train to Nice. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and I was satisfied with the cleanliness and overall environment.

Rooms were just large enough to not feel cramped, and with the large windows open you get a nice pleasant sea breeze with spectacular views and very little road noise

there are few beaches around just 2-3 mins walking. the area is walkable to nearby amazing restaurants and the port. there is an amazing walk by the coaston the other side. would just enjoy my glass of wine by the window

Although the gate is on the side of the road, the entrance is slanted and the road is very narrow. There are two large trash cans at the door, which blocked it, so it was not easy to find

We recommend booking a room facing the sea for a beautiful view. The economy rooms are located on the lower floor, where there are pipes from a restaurant, and the noise doesn't stop until after 10 PM

Had an amazing 2 nights at the hotel. the staff was helpful and very friendly. the hotel room was very clean. but the best part is definitely the location. The sea view is just perfection

However, on my first night, I stayed in room number 12 on the first floor, and there was a strong smell of paint that even caused an allergic reaction

After communicating with the front desk, I was moved to room number 44 on the fourth floor

The room's terrace directly faces the coastline, offering an unbeatable view.

Environment: Each room has a small balcony with a view of the blue sea, which is indeed beautiful

He suggested I speak to their manager the next morning, implying I might get a refund or at least some compensation. I went back the next day, and it was the same woman who appeared to be of Indian descent

During check-in, the front desk staff pretended to be busy, memorized my card's security code, and then immediately received a text message about a charge

The bathrooms are getting a bit old and cleaning could be a little bit better but all in all okay

Check in was not helpful but the checkout was helpful where they offered to carry our bags to the car. There was a little balcony too

Hotel located in the heart of Nice. It is 15 minutes away from the beach and 5 mins away from the train station. Also, the receptionist Philippe was so friendly. Would stay again if I ever visit again Nice. So good.

Very satisfied! It's conveniently located right next to the train station in the city center, making it easy to get everywhere. The room was clean and spacious, with a separate wet/dry bathroom

We're regulars at this hotel, but unfortunately, we got a rather outdated room this time. So, a bit disappointed, but the prices are still more than reasonable.

Many of the negative reviews pertaining to to the old hotel. It’s been completely renovated and our room was spotless and comfortable. It’s close to the beach in an excellent location. Staff was friendly and helpful

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the recent reopening of the completely renovated Ambassador hotel in Nice, FR. This property is located two blocks from the beach

Four of these owned by the same ownership group as the Ambassador, offering two free drinks with a dinner order if you show them your room key. Also just a few blocks away and your are into the historic district of Nice

The shower was large, glass enclosed and the bathroom fixtures were lovely. We were fortunate to interact with the manager, Miss Loan and the front desk mgr. My apologies ladies if I’ve misspelled your names

It is also another 1-2 blocks walking to the main street with the tram as well. I could definitely see coming here again

Close to Tram 1, which drops you at Jean Medicin (tram 2 to airport), Place Massena (going out area and dining), Old Nice (market, close yo going up the mountain, scenic views) Close yo main shopping street, walking down to the beach takes about 15-20 mins

Really nice affordable hotel in a great location with good nearby restaurants offering halal options. The beach is a 20-minute walk away. Staff were helpful & kind, and the room was clean and well ventilated

Great location. Perfect single room for solo travellers. Walls a paper thin though so you can hear your neighbours - might be an issue for light sleepers.

Close to all amenities. The room that I booked was very good. They gave me a quiet spot that I could sleep away from the street.

Got a cute little room on the top floor. I like small room so everything is within 2 steps reach. If you have a big suitcase, get a bigger room. Nice walk between airport line tram station to the hotel

Me and my husband LOVED renting the e-bikes, an amazing perk to be able to bike along the coast with e-assist. They did some laundry for us in a very reasonably priced and timely manner

It is very close to the train station and the seaside avenue, and it is convenient to walk to the old town for shopping and dining. There is a supermarket next to the hotel

The two beauties at the front desk have a very good service attitude and helped me a lot. It feels great to stay for 4 consecutive nights. This is the most satisfying stay experience in Nice during this trip!

There's a well stocked, small supermarket next door (not convenience store) with fresh fruits, but you can find bigger supermarkets in a few minutes. There are good bakeries in all directions

There is a nice restaurant that is reasonably priced across the street. The hotel staff is really friendly and accommodating. They made us feel welcome and helped us with a few things

The location was very central to key attractions. The reception was very friendly and we kept our bags to store room after we checked out. The room was tidy and comfortable

We had an apartment on the top floor. It faced the street but we did not hear noise from the street. The kitchen is well equipped and everything worked without an issue

For the price (approx 70-80euros) a night the price/performance ratio was very good. I think the prices go up a lot in peak season which explains some of the other reviews

Comfortable room and bed in small hotel well located in the downtown area of Nice. 8 minute walk to the sea and old town area. Easy tram or suburban line access. Nice Ville (main) train station is 12 minute walk away

A fantastic hotel, close to the old town and all the attractions. Comfortable rooms with beautiful decor. Breakfasts are tasty, with something for everyone. And the staff are always helpful and smiling

It is within a 10-minute walk from the train station and a 15-20-minute walk from the beach. The beach is worth a visit, and then there are all kinds of food in the old town

The Chinese restaurant is also a good choice, where you can eat local sea bass

I arrived late after 12 and the front desk staff was still available and friendly. Room and toilet are clean, soap and shampoo available. Location is also good if you come from airport or need to go to airport.

Just beside Tram station ( L2 &L3). Room is small but with this rate it is totally acceptable. Breakfast is Horrable ( i am sorry but this is really far from normal standard)

The hotel was pretty decent as located very close to Nice train station and a short walk into the centre of town. The staff were pretty friendly and provided us with what we needed (extra bedding, travel cot)

A very comfortable hotel to stay at, with a stable Wi-Fi signal, large, comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need, and daily cleaning. Despite the proximity to the train station, there was no noise

The only issue we had was that there was a bright emergency exit light in our room which could not be switched off and disturbed our sleep otherwise we were pretty happy here

There were some minor inconveniences that could have been fixed but we didn't bother. They left one face towel and one bath towel for 2 people! There was hardly any toilet paper on the roll and no other roll

It really is an oasis This truly is in an oasis. As soon as you walk through the gates, into the courtyard, the city goes away. The cleaning lady was delightful! Most of the desk staff was very good

We stayed in the renovated section of the hotel. The room was just as nice as any 4/5 star hotel. We didn't use any hotel facilities. Only heard once someone very loud in the hallway

I just think he didn’t want to do check in, his shift ended then. And then when we left, very early at 5am, the desk guy was no where to be found and we were licked in the gate

This small hotel, similar to a guesthouse, wasn't listed as having a 24-hour front desk, but after contacting us in advance and knowing we'd arrive in the evening, they still arranged for staff to wait at the front desk for check-in

It’s a decent stay! Amenities one would expect and helpful staff. It’s loud when someone passes by the corridor or opens/closes the room. No soundproofing and sometimes the noise from the streets would be too much.

It's a bit further to walk to other attractions and public transport hubs, but the city itself isn't very big, so walking is perfectly manageable. The room came with a TV, air conditioning, and a balcony

My room was very clean and offered aircon/heating, fridge, haidryer, tv, kettle & complimentary. The furniture and carpet looked well-maintained and the bed was very comfortable
