Hotels on first line in Nice

The room is very big in France. The most unexpected thing is that it has a small balcony. Sitting on the balcony and watching the seagulls has a wide view. It is so comfortable and clean

Although you cannot see the sea from the balcony, there are many shops near the hotel, so you don't have to worry about food. There is a large supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping

This is my favorite and most satisfying hotel during my trip to Europe. It is very close to the beach

A comfortable and enjoyable 1 nights stay. Close to supermarket and all attractions. An amazing breakfast with a good variation. The room was very big and clean, comfortable Queen bed

The service was great, a welcome chocolates and hot chocolate on arrival and at anytime. The staff also arranged a morning taxi to the airport. Would highly recommend and stay again!

Except for an ant found in the bar on the first floor, the beautiful lady at the front desk is wearing national costumes. She is kind and friendly with a sincere smile

If staying in Nice I highly recommend the Hotel Florence. Excellent location only a few minutes from trams 1 & 2 and a 10 minute walk to the Old Town

They also watched our bags, stored our bags, and had wonderful breakfasts! I can't thank their staff enough, the hotel is right in between the train station, airport, beach, and public transportation

The hotel's location is excellent, right on a bustling main street, yet surprisingly quiet in the rooms. The rooms are clean and tidy, with windows for ventilation and central air conditioning

The hotel is the perfect choice for discovering Nice, easily accessible and within easy reach of everything. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The staff at the accommodation are very kind and helpful.

The location is right on the main street near L1 line. Walking distance to Nice-Ville station. The staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. We got very comfortable extra pillows

Hotel is conviniently located about 2 minutes walk away from the L2 station and walking distance to most of the sightseeing spots. Staffs are super friendly and helpful with the information

We spent 5 nights at this lovely hotel in Nice and really enjoyed our stay. The building has that charming, typical French architecture, and although it’s an older hotel, it’s very well maintained and clean

There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby. A wonderful place to stay if you want to experience the real atmosphere of Nice!

Filtered water served in the lobby is definitely a plus. Breakfast is also wonderful ( freshly squeezed orange juice 😋 ) would like to go back one day

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and our room was cleaned every day

As a celiac in France, I was starving! And when I said gluten free, she personally surprised us and baked me a gluten free breakfast cake at the impressive home cooked breakfast the following morning

We had a wonderful experience staying here. Although our plans had some unforeseen issues, Emma was extremely accommodating and thoughtful throughout all of our interactions. The hotel has a nice ambience and vibe

The only inconvenience was the bathroom exhaust fan which was very noisy, unfortunately we realized it at 11pm and so we preferred not to call anyone and with the bathroom door closed it was a little less audible

Breakfast was wonderful - not the usual buffet, but you order what you want from a menu, and the food is made for you in no time. All the staff were very helpful and super nice!

The hotel is beautifully designed with high quality all over. We booked a big suite, with a view to the cozy backyard. The suite was big and spacious with everything we needed

The reason for the average location score is because it takes about 25-30 minutes walk to get to the main train station or old town where most restaurants are

My friend and I had a lovely stay here, staff were lovely and accommodating, hotel was clean and bed was very comfortable, which can be rare for a hotel! It was a 2-minute walk to the Promenade & although it was a bit of a walk into Old Nice, the tram and bus systems are easy enough to work out if you didn’t want to walk and very close by! There are plenty of lovely restaurants nearby to save you going...

The staff were all lovely and there were nice little touches like a kids play area, lollies at reception, sunscreen to borrow for the day

Beach towels, sunscreen, water, and even free coffee were provided. Breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. It was our second stay here, and once again we had a wonderful experience

For the price (approx 70-80euros) a night the price/performance ratio was very good. I think the prices go up a lot in peak season which explains some of the other reviews

Perfect!!! Absolutely everything – from its central location in Nice to the optimal comfort, coziness, and amenities, decent breakfasts, and of course, the excellent work and friendliness of the staff! All the positive things mentioned in other reviews about this hotel truly reflect reality

Comfortable room and bed in small hotel well located in the downtown area of Nice. 8 minute walk to the sea and old town area. Easy tram or suburban line access. Nice Ville (main) train station is 12 minute walk away

A fantastic hotel, close to the old town and all the attractions. Comfortable rooms with beautiful decor. Breakfasts are tasty, with something for everyone. And the staff are always helpful and smiling

We also got a mini bottle of rose wine which was a really nice touch. Location fab, right next to the main shopping area, 10 mins from Vieux Nice/Promenade des Anglais/the beach

Particular handy for backpackers, who want to do some laundry. The room was a perfect size, and the bathroom was great. It has a towel dryer, which is nice, when you need to dry swim clothes after a day at the beach

They also had baguette, cheese, toppings like ham, scrambled eggs and greenary + fruits and berries - something I prefer. (I need my breakfasts a bit salty). The staff was helpful and welcoming

You can store your luggage at the Hotel if needed, which is great! Also a pluss for being eco friendly. You might hear the traffic from your room, but it shouldn't be a bother to most people

If you are a light sleeper, maybe ask for a room that doesn't face the main street, or use ear buds. I had no issue, but I sleep well anywhere

The city center is a short walk away from the hotel too. Breakfast was simple but good. Typical European breakfast - which means sweet pastry

The only downside was that the bathroom didn't even have a shelf, so you had to run up and down to get things while showering… The location and environment were fine, but the breakfast, which was paid for separately, was just so-so

It is within a 10-minute walk from the train station and a 15-20-minute walk from the beach. The beach is worth a visit, and then there are all kinds of food in the old town

The Chinese restaurant is also a good choice, where you can eat local sea bass

You have a shopping centre right across the street, where there are nice places for breakfast but also fast food. The main street is also around 5 min distance where you have everything else you would need

We had one with a balcony with a table and two chairs. The hotel is close to everything. You have the train station just around the corner. You have a tram station in 7 walking minutes distance

The room was cleaned everyday and we got new towels. Everything was very clean and tidy. The staff were nice and helpful. You can leave your luggage there after checking out if your flight is late

I had enjoy my room in Bristol hotel. Clean bathroom, towels, WiFi and they gave me a quiet room so I could sleep and relax Definitely will come back again

Highly recommend, bed is so comfortable! I had a good rest. Staff are polite and nice, speak English Close to train station and subway. There are supermarkets around, Carrefour and lidl Clean, no bed bugs

Only stayed for one night. We didn't even had breakfast. But what we experienced was perfect.

Just next to Line #1 tram Stop Liberation. Matisee musee is close and can be reached on foot. The frontdesk staff is polite and helpful especially the girl on day shift. No fridge in the room but can use the hotel fridge

Its a decent price for the location you are near promenade des anglais, place Garibaldi and vielle ville. And I do wish the bathtub was newer but all in all for the price and location plus excellent services

Walls were not that sound proof but it’s fine with us coz we are not light sleepers. But it’s very nice that they offered us early check in and free luggage storage service!

Louise is a very helpful woman if you have any issues or questions about where to buy things or the good restaurants to eat in, ask Louise. She is the sunshine of the place

It's a little far from the beach or the center, but it's a 3-minute cut from the train station. It's not very clean, but it's neat and the staff are friendly

The hotel was pretty decent as located very close to Nice train station and a short walk into the centre of town. The staff were pretty friendly and provided us with what we needed (extra bedding, travel cot)

A very comfortable hotel to stay at, with a stable Wi-Fi signal, large, comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need, and daily cleaning. Despite the proximity to the train station, there was no noise

The only issue we had was that there was a bright emergency exit light in our room which could not be switched off and disturbed our sleep otherwise we were pretty happy here

🏨 is just a few mins walk from Nice Gare. Room is small but functional. There is only soup in the toilet. Need to bring your personal commodities when staying in this hotel. Price is resonable in low season .

Clean, good shower , very friendly check in. We’re advised of the closest tourist stops to visit. My only complaint would be that the AC wasn’t very powerful as it was hot in Nice at the time

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. The location of the hotel is great and it's just minutes away from many points of interest. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful

There were some minor inconveniences that could have been fixed but we didn't bother. They left one face towel and one bath towel for 2 people! There was hardly any toilet paper on the roll and no other roll

It really is an oasis This truly is in an oasis. As soon as you walk through the gates, into the courtyard, the city goes away. The cleaning lady was delightful! Most of the desk staff was very good

We stayed in the renovated section of the hotel. The room was just as nice as any 4/5 star hotel. We didn't use any hotel facilities. Only heard once someone very loud in the hallway

I just think he didn’t want to do check in, his shift ended then. And then when we left, very early at 5am, the desk guy was no where to be found and we were licked in the gate

The property is so quiet and peaceful and clean. It is very accessible to shopping and sight seeing and transport. The staff was very helpful and the room was really clean

A great hotel, 10 minutes from the train station, which is very important, as we're going downhill. The location is excellent, 15 minutes to the beach, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets nearby

The front desk staff is very friendly It's small, but there is an elevator It's very close to Nice Station, so it's easy to access. The beach is 20 minutes away, so it's good for a walk.

My room was very clean and offered aircon/heating, fridge, haidryer, tv, kettle & complimentary. The furniture and carpet looked well-maintained and the bed was very comfortable

This small hotel, similar to a guesthouse, wasn't listed as having a 24-hour front desk, but after contacting us in advance and knowing we'd arrive in the evening, they still arranged for staff to wait at the front desk for check-in

It’s a decent stay! Amenities one would expect and helpful staff. It’s loud when someone passes by the corridor or opens/closes the room. No soundproofing and sometimes the noise from the streets would be too much.

It's a bit further to walk to other attractions and public transport hubs, but the city itself isn't very big, so walking is perfectly manageable. The room came with a TV, air conditioning, and a balcony

Room and bathroom were tiny but thats ok since we traveled light in this trip, and we hardly stayed in the hotel as we maximized the train proximity to visit nearby cities

Location was fantastic - close to the train station, central enough, various restos around, a laundromat, a police station by the corner, pretty much anything you could think of that you might need is just 5-10mins away

The key card wasn't easy to access, and the receptionist looked at me with a certain scrutiny and asked questions about my personal itinerary (I didn't think it was a casual greeting)
