Guest House Gantiadi in Batumi

Great location near popular attractions. Clean room, cash only. Service requests were through WhatsApp and we didn't always get a timely response for more pillows, toilet paper etc. A nice family run hotel overall. Has the minimum of what you need. If you're one or two people and you'll be spending most of your time outside and only there to sleep and shower, then the price and location is good. Location on the map isn't quite right, it's just a bit north, 19 Kutaisi Street. Reserve with booking.com but pay cash on arrival.

It is a reasonable and clean hotel which is located in old Batumi. It is easy peasy going to touristic places on foot. They were so helpful about check-in and check- out time. The only disadvantage is payment method. Just cash is accepted fyi.

Room

Despite of the last minute booking, my friend and I were lucky to get a room at Gantiadi. The room was very bright and very clean with a cozy balcony facing the street. Room was cleaned and towels were changed on daily bases. The room had AC, which was very convenient in the hot weather of Batumi.

Location

Gantiadi is located in the old Batumi, which is very beautiful, aesthetically pleasing area with old historical and new buildings of the similar architecture.
The area is full of restaurants (Georgian, European, Turkish/Arabic and Asian) and cozy cafes making it easy to enjoy breakfast and dinner as close as in 2 min from the hotel.
In addition, there are grocery shops like Daily and Spar as well as small markets where you can buy fresh fruits just around the corner.

The hotel is 12 min walking distance from the Alphabet tower, Ali and Nino monument and the beach.

Hosts

It is a family owned hotel and they were all very friendly and very helpful. They helped us bring up the luggage to the room. After checking out we were able leave the luggage for couple of hours in the hotel so we could enjoy leftover time in Batumi before departure. Check-out process was also very smooth and friendly.

Will definitely check out the availability of this place next time I travel to Batumi.

Very clean and quality hotel. Great value for the price. Location is central in the old quarter, street is calm.

Everything is on point. Rooms are very clean and they help u if you need anything. Definetly will be back if I'll come to Batumi again ❤️❤️

Room with a terrace is wonderful

Great place to stay in the old town. Nearby there are many cafes and shops, within walking distance of the embankment. The surroundings are very beautiful and, most importantly, quiet.
I liked everything very much, we lived here for 2.5 weeks. The rooms are always cleaned, everything is clean, there is a shared kitchen. There is heating and air conditioning.
The owners are a family of 4, which creates even more coziness) will always help)
