Magnolia Hotel Agmashenebeli in Kobuleti

We came to Georgia for our first vacation. We rented a room in the old building, as the new one was full. The hostess was quite friendly, and we liked her.
The room was tiny. The toilet and shower are combined, and the water drains poorly. It turns out there's always water on the floor in this room, which spreads throughout the room. Our child fell pretty badly and scraped her hand on the door. The toilet leaks all day, which really interferes with sleep. We had to turn off the water. There's nothing to wipe the floor with. There wasn't a single cleaning service in 9 days. Towels were changed only once upon request. There's no room to put suitcases, as the closet is small and has only one shelf and one hanging rod. Be prepared for suitcases to lie flat under your feet throughout your entire vacation, as you'll need to check them often. The front door only locks securely with a key. You can't lock yourself in the bathroom either. Breakfast is a bit of an acquired taste, and modest.
You can use the washing machine for an additional 5 GEL.
As for the pool, there is one. It's small. As we understand it, it's designed to be shared between several hotels, plus all 1,000 relatives with children can freely use it with all the other vacationers.
The man who maintains order around the pool is very strict. No barefoot steps near the pool, no jumping into the water from the edge, and other requirements.
If you want to sit at a table by the pool with a glass of something cold, that's prohibited! You can only bring drinks that you buy from the bar. You can't bring your own! Although, according to the terms of stay, only breakfast is included, and we can eat and drink our own food and drinks. As we understand it, you can only consume these under the bed in your room, so no one will see. 🤣
In short, there are many restrictions, and they're not written down anywhere.
The location is excellent. The sea and the park are across the road. I was pleased to find a café at every corner where you can always enjoy delicious food. We'll definitely return to Georgia again. But definitely not to this hotel!
The new building has a much nicer atmosphere. The renovations are modern. But... the conditions for using the pool and the surrounding area will remain the same.
We definitely won't be returning to this hotel!
