Reviews
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests, and I am truly grateful for their support. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm and professional service.
Pros:
1. The grounds are well-kept, clean, and spacious enough.
2. The rooms are not bad: fairly good repairs, furniture that is not worn out, and the air conditioning worked without any problems.
3. Relatively good and varied three meals a day. They cook deliciously. We were especially pleased with the breakfasts and lunches. You definitely won't go hungry: you can have unlimited quantities of vegetables, salads, buns, and drinks. But the meat is given out in portions by the serving line workers and very little. Fruit was never given...
4. Friendly and helpful hosts and staff. All requests are fulfilled if necessary.
Cons:
1. Cleaning of rooms... When checking in, it seemed that the floor in the room had not been cleaned after the previous tenants. There was dust under the child's bed and an inflatable ball was lying around in plain sight. How could you clean and not notice it?!
The trash was cleaned every other day, sometimes every 2. Considering that there was only one small trash can in the bathroom, it filled up very quickly and there were certain inconveniences in this regard. Accordingly, you often had to ask for toilet paper yourself, since it was only brought to the room when cleaning the trash. But the paper was given out at the reception without any questions.
The room was cleaned on the 4th day of our stay, the bed linen and towels were changed. They actually washed the floor and finally removed that very ball under the bed.))) And that's it! The next 6 days there was no hint of cleaning! By the end of the stay, the floor was really dirty. We brought this dirt with us and onto the bed linen, we really wanted to change the towels, but it was not meant to be...
2. The condition of the plumbing: everything was leaking (the toilet, the sink, and the shower stall. There was always water on the floor in the bathroom. No foot towels were provided. So I threw one of the towels on the floor. When cleaning up the trash, they made a remark when they saw the towel on the floor. They took it to the wash and gave us something like a large rag for cleaning.
3. The pool. Fortunately, we were lucky with the weather and we did not use it even once, because we came to swim in the sea. Firstly, for such a fairly large hotel, it is really small... When 5-6 children gathered, it was already extremely problematic for an adult to swim there.
Secondly, for the first time in Kobuleti, we encountered the fact that the pool is open at certain hours! Most of the time we observed that the pool is closed! Opens in an hour or two after breakfast. We went to lunch and it was closed again. In the evening after 6-7 it was closed. Last year we stayed at a different hotel and the pool was accessible 24 hours a day, no fencing (like in Palermo) and everything was great.
4. Alcohol in the hotel. Upon check-in, we were given a bottle of wine as a compliment from the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by this gesture.
On the first evening of our vacation, we decided to try the alcohol that was sold at the reception in the hotel itself. We bought homemade wine and chacha. The wine did not make a special impression, but it was drinkable. My head did not hurt in the morning. But we did not buy it anymore. But chacha... Half of the next day was lost from the lives of our men... My husband said that he had not tried such disgusting and low-quality alcohol for a long time. And they drank a little and with a good snack.
And a couple of days later we remembered the gift from the hotel. When we opened the bottle of wine given to us by friends with whom we were vacationing, we did not appreciate the gift. It's awful. Some kind of unfermented, carbonated, tasteless swill. Even the color of this supposedly red wine was some kind of light brown... And this is a gift from the residents of the country that produces the wine?! We didn't drink it, we poured it out. We didn't even open our bottle. We left it in the room when we checked out. It would have been better if they hadn't given us anything and ruined their reputation. Of course, we didn't buy any more alcohol there. And we saw that tourists who were not in Georgia for the first time and already knew something about wine and chacha, also didn't drink their alcohol.
5. Restaurant at the hotel. After dinner, the restaurant worked by order. A very meager selection of dishes. But we decided to try their khinkali. They are delicious, there is a lot of meat, but... Almost everyone has khinkali
The only things that need improvement are wifi signal as it gets onn and off; warm water in the shower is very limited during rush hours (7-9 pm and 10-12 am)
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT FOR BELARUSSIAN!!! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SPILL YOUR HOLIDAY - DO NOT CONTACT FAVORIT-TRAVEL COMPANY (Minsk). THIS IS SHARAGINA'S OFFICE WITH THE DIRECTOR Andrey! AVOID THIS COMPANY! She organizes tours to this wonderful hotel, but before you get here, you are pretty nervous, their buses are constantly breaking, you have to stand right on the highway, wait until the drivers will resolve these written off buses with beautiful 0001 and 7777 Minsk region, I really want to SO TOURISTS DO NOT REPEATE OUR MISTAKES AND DO NOT CONTACT WITH "FAVORIT-TRAVEL" COMPANY 😪. ALL REVIEWS IN SOCIAL NETWORKS THEY DELETE AND BLOCK SO THAT PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW THE TRUTH, THEREFORE I WRITE HERE!
