Iveri Beach in Kobuleti

The hotel seems to have been very good at one time, because they thought about branding, visuals and design. However, at this stage it is average.

Positive aspects:
1. The hotel has an elevator, which is very convenient 🙌
2. There is good internet/Wi-Fi
3. There is a pool in the yard suitable for children
4. It is in a very good location - there are no mosquitoes and you can walk straight from the hotel to the beach ♥️
5. It has its own cafe-bar
6. In the 2-bed room we found 2 soaps and 2 detergents, bed linen, branded towels, a refrigerator and an electric kettle
7. The room door has a smart lock that opens with a card and you don't have to carry a key, which is very convenient ♥️

Negative aspects:
1. The pool is not cleaned daily
2. The room has a balcony, but there are no laundry items. I used to hang laundry on the balcony railing, but it would fall down in the wind 🤷🏻‍♀️
3. The water in the bathroom "trap" did not drain and it would pool when bathing. After contacting us, they solved this problem within 2 days 🫣
4. In the room, we found a sagging sofa and mattress with "mattresses" on it and sleeping was quite uncomfortable 🤐
5. The hotel does not have room service. During 6 nights, no one entered the room to clean, change towels, or add detergent 🤷🏻‍♀️

Pros, benefits:

1) We booked a family room with a balcony for three people, a comfortable and very, very spacious room. Duplex, respectively, two balconies with comfortable swing chairs. The sea view from the balcony is magnificent.
2) Good and varied food.
3) Good location of the hotel.
4) Very good and helpful hotel staff, it was always clean everywhere.
5) Private clean beach, the hotel provides sunbeds accordingly.

Cons, disadvantages:

1) IMPORTANT! If you book at this hotel through Booking.com, the hotel manager may try to persuade you to cancel your booking and simply pay him cash for the stay, perhaps even with a small discount. It will be offered under the pretexts: “I have problems with booking”, “Your money is stuck there”, “I still have not received it”, and so on. At least, the wording we had was approximately the same, perhaps when communicating with you they will differ. The money will be returned to you no one knows when (up to 90 days), you will also have to explain to booking why you canceled the booking during your stay. Of course, do not agree to anything, just ignore and rest further, he did not have any money stuck anywhere, which was safely told to us in booking.

2) Taxi and transfer. A month before arrival, the hotel was notified that we needed a transfer from the airport to the hotel, they dropped all the information about our flight, including the time of arrival. As a result, upon arrival, of course, no one met us, we had to stand near the airport and call the hotel so that they would call a taxi for us. It turned out that you must notify the hotel before departure that you are arriving. The administrator called us a taxi, after 10 minutes it arrived. Transfer back: the hotel with correspondence says that the transfer costs 33 GEL, but when transferring back to the airport, be prepared for the taxi driver to tell you his price at the end of the trip)) He told us: “You are 100 GEL, but, so be it, I’ll give you a discount of 10 lari.” We sent him and gave him 60 GEL. Be careful, be sure to agree on the cost with the driver before the transfer.

3) Elevator, or rather its absence. The hotel is 6-storey, respectively, when you check in on the 4th, 5th, and even more so on the 6th floor, you will have to pump up the hamstrings, gluteal and calf muscles of your legs.

4) Probably, the minus applies only to our room: during the rains and storms, the windows flooded a little. Apparently, the windows are of poor quality or crooked.
